Looking forward to E3 2014!

I ruined my record today. I had two different posts that I wanted to write today, but I got distracted by Mario Kart and didn't look at the clock until 12:10 AM.

It's June. There will be no May 2014 post ever. Because I blew it. So now I can't say that I've had one post per month since 2009. I am surprisingly not as depressed about that as I probably should be...

Well, um... It's actually 1:40 AM right now. I was trying to finish a post, but I really have very little motivation right now. I probably should have started this earlier in the week when I was still fangirling over Hyrule Warriors, but I didn't soooo...

I'll give you guys a post tomorrow, alright? Well, not tomorrow, but in the morning, when I wake up. I'm too tired to trust myself to write a quality post right now. (I might end up deleting this post if I do.) And hey, we'll still have at least two E3 posts later in the month! Oh, yes. That's something to be excited about, right? Nintendo's press conference will be June 10th, and, shockingly, it's June 1st now! The summer seems to be passing so quickly. We've got PLENTY to look forward to at E3 this year -- but I'm going to talk more about that both in my later post of day, and in my "X amount of hours until E3" post.

I'll see you guys (guy? It's really only you, miniluigi. XD) later!

The only thing I can think of posting: The Tale of Fishies

Okay. I'm bored. So I'm gonna talk about how Link and Picori died, and then Zelda ate them. And then she died too. XD

...They were FISH, okay?

...Yes, I named my fish Link, Zelda, and Picori...

It was for a school project. We were taking care of fish. Obviously. We put them in bottles and prayed that they would live. We were supposed to get two. While we pondered over what to name them, my friend (knowing what a huge Zelda freak I am) said, "I would laugh if you named them Link and Zelda." And I'm like, "OMG! WE SHOULD!" To my partner: "PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLE-"

"Okay, FINE."

"YAY!"

So as we were getting our fishies... our teacher made a mistake... and gave us THREE! O: One of them was REALLY tiny, too. So I called it my Minish fish. And then I'm like, "LET'S NAME IT PICORI!" But... it was almost dead already. It didn't move much. Poor Picori... QQ

Zelda was orange with white spots (and really pretty... she looked like a Zelda fish XD). Link was a brown, silver-ish color (you could almost call it green if you looked at it in the light...). Picori was orange with black spots. But... Picori was pretty much dead from the start... XD

We came back to school the next day to check on our fishies and... Picori was dead as we expected. But...

LINK DIED TOO! O:

I was SOOOO sad. I almost cried. XD Poor, poor, poor Link...

But Zelda lived! :D And she ate Picori and Link's dead bodies. O_o It was REALLY gross. But... she lived the next day! And she also lived the next day! And the next! And the next!

A week passed, and Zelda still lived on (and Link and Picori's bodies disappeared... gods, Zelda, that's disgusting!). I was hopeful. Very hopeful. Other people's fish died - the only other group in the class with three had all of theirs die. But Zelda lived!

Then it was the last day of the experiment. We could take them home that day! I was going to take my fish named Zelda HOME!

She was alive in the morning.

And guess what happened when I came in after school to pick my fishy up?

*sob* ZELDA WAS DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's JUST my luck. My fish dies JUST when I'm going to take it home. Figures. :(

...Well. That wasn't very Zelda related. I'm weird, aren't I?

...Too bad it's Sierra's Story that has the FISH label, and not this one...

WHY THE *censored* DOES MY DANG WII HATE MEEEEEE?!?

This is officially. The. Worst. Curse. Ever.

I freaking hate my Wii.

...Nooo... well, I KIND OF do. There have been other instances it let me down (the whole falling-over-and-resetting event with Majora's Mask comes to mind). But more than the Wii, it's the memory card. And I guess it wouldn't even be our Wii... it would be our GAME CUBE.

Remember the Evil Memory Card curse? It returned... hungry for revenge...

It already took away Young Link on Melee. It took NightRings and JewelCat from Pokemon Collosseum. It took my epic Animal Crossing town. It took a cutscene file from Wind Waker. Heck, for good measure, it even took stupid Billy Hatcher files away.

THEN the WII was being stupid. It stole my Twilight Princess file just as I reached the final boss. It made me redo the MM Zora cutscene a thousand times.

But THIS... this is...

FIVE YEARS OF WORK. GONE.

My first ever Zelda game file - Wind Waker - was CORRUPTED! And you know what? Since my cutscene file was deleted, I have no other files that have beat the game and started over!

...Except one...

BUT I'M TOO FREAKING MAD ABOUT THIS TO CARE. Besides, TECHNICALLY it's my sister's. I mean, it's HER first one. She didn't mind if I deleted it, though.

But... but.. but... I'm so angry I don't even know what to scream about anymore. Or type in capital letters. Whatever.

Hey, you know what's funny? I feared something like this would happen. Quote from my previous post about corrupted Wind Waker file:

...Fortunately, it wasn't my very first file, my BEST file... the one I've had for five years. Oh my gosh, if I lost that... I don't know WHAT I would do. Probably burst into tears or start screaming and running around wildly. Something like that. XD

...And now it's happened. Hmm. No screaming. No running. There was almost-crying, and screaming at my sister in anger, but nothing more.

I think I'm getting used to replaying through accidentally-deleted Zelda stuff.

On the other hand, I still haven't deleted this one. I'm hoping, by some miracle, it will come back like Melee sometimes does. ...Oh, and I wonder what our other games are like? I was wondering if any others got further corrupted? I was worried about FSA doing that - I've only beat the game once, so it would be BAD to lose that file - but it was fine. Still...

*sigh*

...Ummmmmm... yeah. Huh. All my recent post titles are all in caps or partially all in caps.

I have nothing more to say. Aside from updates. Like MC and my epiclatastical Zelda-boss-marathon-type-thingy. Uh-huh. Btw, anyone has an ideas for my Zelda fan-fic, please give me something. I need inspiration. Last night I got VERY good inspiration (it has to do with Skyward Sword XD) but... still.

WW - Corrupted Save Data? ...NOOOOO!!!

Why? WHHHHYYYY?!

This is sounding oddly like my Twilight Princess post when I deleted my file. And there's a reason for that.

Somehow, in some completely inconceivable way, my Wind Waker data got "corrupted". Out of ALL of the Zelda games I own, it just HAD to be my favorite that gets messed up.

...Fortunately, it wasn't my very first file, my BEST file... the one I've had for five years. Oh my gosh, if I lost that... I don't know WHAT I would do. Probably burst into tears or start screaming and running around wildly. Something like that. XD

But it was SO close to being my first file. It was even on the same memory card.

I found it when Noob was over. I had let him start a file over one on that memory card (lolz, it was my sister's, but she didn't really care). As I usually do, I took over it and completed Forsaken Fortress and Dragon Roost Cavern. Now he wanted to continue on, and try to get the second pearl at Forest Haven.

If you don't have WW, you should know that per memory card you can have three files. On this particular memory card was file one, my original file with SOOO many memories; file two, Noob's file; and file three, a file that had beat the game, but had not saved after Ganon... meaning all the cutscenes, AND Link's green clothes. Epicness. When I feel like doing the final boss, it was this file I went to. It's also the file I wanted to try to complete the Nintendo Gallery and already HAD done the quest for the Eskimo guy (forgot his name O.o) on Windfall to get the Magic Armor.

It was file three that was "corrupted."

At first I thought it was Noob's, which would be no biggie - but that file was on the FINAL BOSS!

That takes a while. A few weeks, for me, less if I'm dedicated.

My only choice when selecting the file is to erase it.

The big question: how? I haven't played that file in a while! I read in the FSA manual that this can happen if you take out the card while saving. If I haven't played, how can THAT happen?

LttP Update - WHERE THE HECK IS MY HEART PIECE?!?!?!

I can't find it anywhere! :(

Well... I suppose I should begin by saying which temple I'm in.

Ganon's Tower. O.o

Now that that's out of the way, I'll explain my angry title. No, I take that back. My FRUSTRATED title.

I just saved Zelda at Turtle Rock by defeating the evil monster Trinexx after an EPIC fight. :D It was lots of fun - I've never really bothered using my Ice Rod before that boss. Anyway, Zelda tells me it's time to head to Ganon's Tower (btw, someone confirm this: do you SERIOUSLY get the Triforce at the end?! O:). First, I want to get more potions/faeries. FYI: I am the WORST LttP player ever. I am saying this literally: I have not completed a single temple without getting a Game Over.

I fail at this game. xD

Adventure of Link? Never tried it, but it can't be that hard! Majora's Mask? Hah! No problem! Ocarina of Time? Might have taken a few walkthroughs, but I made it through without dying all the time. A Link to the Past? ...I don't think so.

Sorry about the ranting! Ummm... where was I...

Right. So, returning to the Light World with the Magic Mirror, I use my awesome ducky buddy (is it just me, or does that "flute" look like an Ocarina?) to fly to the Potion Shop. Then I fly to the Mountain Passage to get heart refills and some faeries in the caves up there.

It is there that it occurs to me: I have to use my good ol' reliable walkthrough to tell me where my last Heart Pieces are! Yeah, that's right. I'll admit it. Not EVERYTHING I've completed on LttP has been because of my awesomness. In between every dungeon, I use a very helpful walkthrough that tells me where all the Heart Pieces are!

I locate them all, ecstatic that I'm about to get all the Heart Pieces. I even went all the way back into the infamous Turtle Rock to get one I had forgotten!

So I reach Heart Piece #24... and realize something's wrong.

Why do I still have a quarter of a heart missing in that final Heart Container?

...Oh dangit...

Yes, folks. I'm missing a Heart Piece. And trust me, that is NOT good - not good AT ALL.

Tell me: why the HECK did it have to be the LAST Heart Piece? Why can't I just randomly not be able to find one halfway through the game? I NEED FULL HEARTS TO FIGHT GANON! It just won't be the same without them! That's why I've been using this stupid walkthrough in the first place!

I scan through the walkthrough, reading all the descriptions on how to get each individual Heart Piece. I'VE DONE ALL OF IT ALREADY!

I was so heartbroken - pun intended :P - that I went ALL the way back to Heart Piece number one. Guess what? I hastily do what it says. Turn on the water in Watergate Light World temple, go outside, and find the Heart Piece. As I expected, it wasn't there. Why? I ALREADY HAD IT. I do the same thing with numbers two and three and four... on and on and on. The only thing I DIDN'T try were the two that you find from the digging game and the Treasure Chest game. Desperate, I hurried to the Village of Outcasts and wasted a whole lot of Rupees in an attempt to find my last Heart Piece.

IT'S. NOT. THERE!

Without a choice, I braved Ganon's Tower anyway. :(

...On a happier note, I got the Red Mail! I'm Red Link now! And, in honor of Four Swords manga, I took out my Fire Rod and started shooting it everywhere when I got it. :D The weird thing is... my hat's purple. Am I Vio or Red? Huh. Guess I get to use the Bow AND the Fire Rod/Ice Rod! :D

As I was heading through the tower, I landed in a strange room. The floor was covered in ice, and two doors were sealed on either side. I walk around, and the suddenly the Armos fall from the sky! Remember: it's the first boss I fought! Later I ran into Twinmold's cousin - what's his name again? Lanmolas or something? Anyway, I easily kill him with my superly awesome powered up Golden Sword, despite having an annoying fireball-shooting statue after me. Actually, Armos was even easier - I just so happened to have JUST drank a potion (lucky timing on my part, because I had NO idea the boss was down there!) so I had full health. Full health means LAZER SHOOTING SWORD BEAMS! :D ...Bascically, I just stood there pressing the B button. I don't think I even moved once. O.o

I still miss my Heart Piece. :(

Umm... other news!

Well, this isn't Zelda, but HeartGold and SoulSilver came out a little while ago. My sister got it the day it came out because it's her birthday on the 21st. :( NOT FAIR! Really! First of all: when ST came out, I DIDN'T GET IT ON THE FIRST DAY! If anyone read my blog when I was counting down the days to get it, I got all excited because my copy was preordered, AND THEN THEY DIDN'T GET IT UNTILL THE NEXT DAY! Ugh. I wanted SoulSilver, but... I'd have to spend my money on it. I'm actually saving up for Zelda Wii, soo... that's not an option.

OH! RIGHT! I just remembered a few things.

1. I MIGHT buy a GameBoy - I'm desperate for Four Swords and/or Minish Cap!

2. I'm going to get a Zelda T-shirt! It's totally awesome. It says, "Don't make me go Zelda on you!" XD

3. I started over my sister's file, but because of it, she forced me to title the file "Doggy". O.o Usually my second file is called Link, but... well... I had to settle for this less-epic name or she wouldn't let me do it.

4. For no reason whatsoever, I fought Ganondorf again on Twilight Princess and filmed it on my cell phone.

5. For no reason whatsoever, I went into the boss battle on Spirit Tracks, got bored and turned it off.

6. For no reason whatsoever, I am telling you boring stuff that no one cares about.

And that's all! xD (dang, that was a LOOONG post.)

Zelda TP Update - NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY ME? WHY!

If you watch me on Central, you'll know that I changed my mood to sad. And after reading this, you will know precisely why.

It started on a normal weekend day. I was having fun on Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I had been working hard on this file ever since November of last year, since I bought it. My sister had already beat the game, sadly, even though I paid for this game. Still, I was determined to defeat Gannondorf - eventually!

So I finally beat the dragon in the Sky, where the Occoco's live, and found the final piece of the Mirror of Twilight! Excited, I hurried back down to Lake Hylia and warped to the Mirror Chamber. After an amazing cutscene where you discover Midna (OMG! I'd been spelling her name wrong! More later, lol) is actually the Twilight Princess and how she got changed by Zant into her current form. Impatient, I pounded on the A button, wanting to see the cutscene but eager to get the Mirror of Twilight working again.

Finally, the sages finished talking (Did you ever notice they have the same symbols as the ones in OoT? If so, Ruto died! O:) and I rushed into the Twilight Realm.

I had some fun in there, throwing my Ball and Chain at the oblivious Twili people, despite how Midna continuously told me "They aren't our enemies! Don't attack them!" XD So finally I got bored and ran into the Temple. I got the first Sol (it powers the Twilight Realm apparently) and avoided that creepy red hand that tried to take it from me and placed it in its designated spot.

Then I saved, because I didn't want to do it over again, and I wanted to mess up my other file.

This is the third file, one we'd never played on. It's name was the default "Link", so we were planning on glitching it up.

We tried this glitch (We actually filmed it on my cell phone! I should show you guys sometime) that lets us keep the wooden sword. But apparently, you had to have a Slingshot, which we didn't, lol.

So I went back to attempt to get the Slingshot - and that's where everything went wrong.

I went through all the steps (caught that STUPID fish, ugh. And helped get that darn baby back for that lady. And all that boring stuff) and gained enough rupees to obtain the Slingshot, FINALLY!

Excited but not wanting to lose my progress, I pressed save - and ruined EVERYTHING I'd worked for.

Now seriously, why does TP have to be different? Wind Waker and OoT and PH all save it automatically to the file YOU'RE WORKING ON. You dont have to select from a list. Now I understand WHY they did that.

Unfortunately, I have to go now! XD I'll post more later, don't worry. Lol, you can probably guess what's going to happen, anyway.

EDIT: Okay, now I can continue! :D

Where was I...

Oh yeah! Well, okay, so I had been playing on my original file A LOT, right? So, when I went to save good ol' Link, I SAVED IT TO FILE ONE! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... and I could go on and on. But I'm not going to. *Sniff* I never got to use my Double Clawshot! I was sooo going to rub it in that annoying STAR game guys face! I hate him so much, he thinks he's sooooo cool! I was totally going to own his game when I beat the Sky place! But I forgot and went in the Twilight Realm, and so I never did... :( And I was planning on filming my Zant battle and putting it on YouTube! Ugh...

:(
