New Header

And then I realized that it'd make me look really stupid.

So, uh...

Hey, look! There's a new header! Okay, thanks, bye!

...What am I doing with my life.


Well, since that Ocarina of Time 3D Header had been up for a ridiculously long amount of time, I decided, prior to the release of The Wind Waker HD, that the best way to celebrate a blog about Medli was create a header that actually freaking had Medli in it for once from the upcoming game. And I did! Or I started to. It only took... a month... to finish! But look at its beauty!

...I mean... it looks like an ocean, right? That's a wave. Or it's supposed to be. My sister made it (so I can't take any blame for it looking stupid). Does it look like a wave?

Anyway. This PROBABLY is not my monthly post, so don't worry about that. I've got stuff to say about A Link Between Worlds. I almost wrote a post about that at the beginning of the month, but apparently I got lazy and never finished it. Maybe you'll see it turned into something on the last day of the month, as usual.

(Oh, wait, that's Halloween, huh? Well, never mind then. Eh. I'll figure out something.)

Skyward Sword: Happy American Release Date!!!

IT. IS. ACTUALLY. HERE.

Holy Goddesses. I'm in shock. I woke up this morning... and realized...

IT'S THE TWENTIETH!

SKYWARD SWORD COMES OUT TODAY!

...Unfortunately, GameStop doesn't open until 10. So I have a bit of time to waste. I thought I'd come and update this blog and say... what a wonderful day in Zelda history this is!

You're probably not going to hear from me for a while (not that THAT'S unusual anymore). I'm planning on spending the whole day in front of the television screen with a golden Wiimote in my hand and epic Legend of Zelda music blasting from the speakers. To say that I am ecstatic would be an understatement. I'm even beyond ebullient. Gods. I've waited for this day for two years. TWO. YEARS. ...That's pretty much how long this blog has been going for!

Man, why did it have to be a Sunday? I wanted Friday. That was the most agonizing Saturday I've ever lived through. *jealous of Europeans*

I've updated the header (as though having a bright blue blob at the top of the screen with Zelda playing the harp wasn't noticable) just for this lovely day. I'm too lazy to make a poll, so just let me know what you think in the comments.

So... I think that's pretty much it. See you guys! Enjoy Skyward Sword!

(Hey, here's something random and slightly amusing. If you look at my labels, the only game with more than Skyward Sword is Ocarina of Time, and even then it's only ONE more - 29 versus 28. And I haven't even played Skyward Sword yet.)

New Header

Of course I can't get a TON of new Skyward Sword screenshots and NOT make a new Medli's Messages header!

Unfortunately, I don't like it. I think I'll be editing it soon, but I've been rendering that imagine all day, so I will leave it for now. As always, I posted a poll on the side of my blog about how you like the new header. This time, however, I've also added a new "Header History" page. This will display every header Medli's Messages has EVER had, including one never-before-seen Spirit Tracks one. In fact, at some point here I might make a poll asking which header my readers like the best out of all of them, and put the winner as the header. For the moment, though, go and check it out and just comment here to tell me which one you like best!

Tomorrow, I might make an Ocarina of Time 3D header. I believe it deserves one, with its release date - June 19th - being only a few days away. Plus, we just got all those new official artwork pictures that I could use.

And it's really not working out, either. *sigh* We're having problems with the background, as you can see. It's not turning out the way it looks in Photoshop. >.< I still need to change the header so that it's longer, too. I'm sorry, I just don't have time this week. I've been skipping homework for this... and it's STILL not turning out right!

I totally changed the layout of the blog. Huh? Why? 'Cuz I felt like it. And because the Skyward Sword pictures weren't fitting. XD

Well, I have to change the header now. Me is going to get started on that.

New stuffs!

Of course, AGAIN I have no time to really mention anything of importance. I could always get on my DSi after this, but... uh... I couldn't post these links and stuff...

Anyway, new header! Yay! How is it? :)

And there are some serious epic new screenshots on LegendofZelda.com. You can find their new Skyward Sword page here.

Zelda Wiki has also updated their Skyward Sword page, which can be found here! That one's my favorite. It tells you the PLOT! Yaaay! :D

And here's some good ol' renders I found of Skyward Sword. I used on in the header, one in my signature, and one in my avatar. XD





If I had time, I'd go ahead and explain the story and gameplay in my own little way. But, I don't have time. Go to the links above to find more information on it. Creating the header took up all my time. It took me SO long to find good screenshots of all the games. I didn't even include any from Four Swords or the Oracle games. XD And the Link's Awakening screenshot is my own. :)

Header Change!

Like the title... I changed the header. Usually I wouldn't put two entries in one day, but I had to mention that. Now I'm planning on changing it every week or so, just because I like making them. XD I'll probably reuse a lot of them.

This one is of Zelda Wii... I'm just SO excited. Only one more month until E3! :)

Slight Changes

In case you haven't noticed, I've added those "pages" things to the side of my blog. I don't really know why. Mostly to take out ALL that stuff in my blog description that was clogging the thing up. And just for fun. XD

Another thing I changed are the labels. I used to split up the titles of my game - for instance, for The Wind Waker, I would put "Wind", then "Waker" as two separate labels. That wasn't working, especially when I got to A Link to the Past. I ended up putting "Link" and "Past", but "Link" was already on so many other entries... so I changed it so that they will be ONE word. Took me forever, considering how many entries I have, but I FINALLY did it! ;)

Oh, and I also added a poll. Should I change the header? I actually made a new one already, but I like the current one, too. I was thinking I would maybe make three or four of them and then ask which ones you guys like best.

And that's all! No updates today - nothing happened. I haven't played anything Zelda today. Except for piano. I learned the Stone Tower Temple theme from Majora's Mask. Man, I hated that temple, with Twinmold and everything, and all that upside-down turning stuff with Light Arrows. Ugh. But the song is pretty... if not catchy and somewhat annoying... O.o

NEW HEADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY! I'm so excited! For the first time in Medli's Messages history, WE HAVE A HEADER!

And it's the bestest header ever, because, in a way, it's my first ever graphic I've made on Photoshop! Rowan helped a little... okay, a lot... but still, I contributed!

I had SO much fun picking out all the renders! I accidentally put none from Spirit Tracks. :( I'm sorry. There were none on Planet Renders, where we found these images. Now that I think of it... I put one from every game I had except for poor ST! Oh noes! I even put one from A Link to the Past, which we JUST got, and Minish Cap and Four Swords, and we don't even HAVE those games! Ugh, I want Minish Cap though. I just don't have a GameBoy... :( Besides, I couldn't resist putting him there. He looks just so perfect in the front, lolz. You know, technically, I didn't put Link from Majora's Mask... but there's Fierce Diety, and he's even better. :P

I wanted SO bad to put ST Zelda in, but we had to make her a render. I also wanted in Shiek, Epona (come on, she has to be in there SOMEWHERE), possibly Gannon/Gannondorf (we gotta have the villain), or Young Zelda from OoT, but we had no room. Got lots of Toon Links though... I just love Toon Link... xD

So... how do you like it? If you're out there, readers, please comment and tell me! Personally, I LOVE it, but I still have to see what others think. Good, or bad?

Btw, in case you were wondering, the girl with the beak that's larger than all the others is Medli, who the blog is named after. She's a bird person, so... that's why she has a beak. ;)

New Follower? It's a miracle!

I can't believe it! I come on today, check to see if any new comments needed to be moderated (which they DIDN'T - what happened to everyone?), so on and so forth. I see “Sierra's Story - 22 Followers,” and I click “New post” on here, Medli's Messages. But at the last second, as the page was loading, I see on the side, not the number two - but THREE followers! NO WAY!

So, uh... my DSi for some reason can't see who's following. Probably has something to do with not having flash, just like YouTube and Wizard101. So... I don't know who my new follower is, but hey, thanks for joining! I haven't had a new follower since, what, September or something?

So, listen... I thank you profoundly for following Medli's Messages... whoever you are! And I hope you're a Zelda fan, too, because I need someone around here who understands what I'm talking about... lol...
