Ocarina of Time - Majora's Mask style!

I FINISHED OCARINA OF TIME AND TWILIGHT PRINCESS IN THREE DAYS!!!

No, not BOTH of them. I mean, each of them. Like, Ocarina of Time took three days, then Twilight Princess took three... well, actually, it was technically FOUR, but the first one didn't really count. We had relatives over when I was trying to do TP, so I couldn't focus on it completely.

I've been contemplating and forming this post in my head ever since I beat them both. I actually tried to post something on here about the Ocarina of Time three-day run while I was on the second day of it, in the Water Temple. That temple was just frustrating me so dang much, I took a break (actually, a LOT of breaks - I'll explain later in this post), and grabbed my DS. At first it was fan fiction catching-up that I did... but eventually I ran out of new chapters to read. So THEN I went on blogger on my DSi... and... of COURSE...

It deleted the post after I finished writing it.

*sigh* When will I learn my lesson?

Anyway, SINCE I've been thinking about this for FOREVER, it will probably be LONG. Just thought I'd warn ya. ;)

So. As I discovered after writing this entire thing, it's LONGER than long. It's GINORMOUS. So Twilight Princess will be on a separate post, 'kay? I ALSO added little dashes in between each dungeon so it's not one big, long wall of text. Now, here's my three-day run of Ocarina of Time!

----------------

I hadn't played that game in a long while - I could barely remember most of the cutscenes and so on. I don't know exactly WHY I did it - probably just out of boredom? But one morning during the Winter Break, I decided to delete my third Ocarina of Time file and start a new one. It was a difficult decision - I had all four bottles on that file! And finding those stupid Big Poes for the last bottle is HARD! ...But I did it anyway.

So, I started the game. The first dungeon, Inside the Great Deku Tree, went well... except all my nightmares of Navi started coming back. I really gotta play OoT more often. I'd forgotten how annoying that stupid fairy is. Like, when I was in that dungeon? At one point, there's this spiderweb thingy that you have to jump down on top of to break it, but when I did, it didn't break. Navi says "HEY!" when you approach the thing, so when I landed it, it bounced up and down. So every time it bounced, Navi would scream "HEY!" It ended up something like "Heyheyheyheyheyheyheyheyhey!!!" before the thing stopped bouncing...

However, this is where the really epic part comes in - after defeating Ghoma, the first boss, I didn't get the Heart Container! O: So, yeah! I completed this game in three days with three hearts and dying only three times! XD

---

Then it was to Hyrule Castle! Zelda was fun to mess with. I probably wasted the most time there. After all, it wasn't me trying to hurry through the game until I got through five dungeons in one day, impressing myself. Anyway, she doesn't even turn to look at you when you come in. Like, if Link was an assassin or something, she would be dead. XD I tried slashing at her a few times, lol. Then I shot my slingshot and the windows. One gives you a lecture and a lit bomb. The other (with Mario characters in it) gives you rupees. I think I like rupees better. My sister got annoyed by all this time I was wasting, since she was watching me and all. I talked to her at my sister's urging... but I managed to annoy her more by selecting "no" to everything Zelda said, making her repeat the same thing over and over until you choose "yes."

---

After that - second dungeon. Dodongo's Cavern. Um, Taryn watched me for part of this... but besides that, I can't remember much of it. It wasn't very exciting.

---

Third dungeon - Inside Lord Jabu-Jabu! Ummm... wasn't much in here to talk about, either. Oh, well, there was ONE thing, lol. The boss. Um, after I defeated it, I was standing a liiitttllle too close to it... so when the Heart Container appeared, it appeared ON TOP OF me! So I got it. And then I had four hearts, not three... >.<

So I turned off the game and started over. I WANTED THREE HEARTS. I wouldn't even let myself get a Heart Piece - when I did, I'd also turn it off. :P

---

After that it was... MASTER SWORD TIME! (Da-na-na-naaah!) But fiiiiirrsst... I had to do a few things as a little kid. After all, I wouldn't be able to go back until I beat Forest Temple. So, first I went and got all the bottles I could. I'd forgotten the one in Lon Lon Ranch... so I found that. And then I got Anju's Cucco's or whatever, and that ALSO gets you a bottle. Yay! Three bottles! Perfect for fairies, which are totally useful when you only have three hearts. :D

Then I wasted MORE time by going to the Happy Mask Shop. I sold the Keaton Mask. Then I got the Skull Mask, but... the Skull Kid won't talk to you to buy it unless you play Saria's Song. And I can't do THAT! That gets me a HEART PIECE!

...So that didn't work out either.

Then I watched the cutscene-type-thing where that guard is dying! I'd heard of it before, but every time I played this game, I always forget to see it! You go into the back alleys in Castle Town RIGHT before getting the Master Sword, and you'll see a guard there. Yeah. Did that...

THEN it was Master Sword time.

And the VERY first thing I did when I turned older? Did that glitch at the Temple of Time altar that temporarily ditches Navi. :P You can't do it when you're little.

---

Next dungeon - Forest Temple! You know that the Poes are named after the girls in the book Little Women? I actually OWN that book... like, permanently... but I've never read it. O_o I got lost in the Forest Temple for a while - I've always had a weakness for that place!

---

Then on to Fire Temple. This went by pretty quickly. Well, it DID, until I fell down to the first floor while trying to get the Megaton Hammer from a timed-treasure chest. IT FRUSTRATED ME! I wanted to throw something! XD

---

And that was the end of the first day! As for the second day? That's where it gets interesting. According to my Wii, I spent... about...

17 hours on it?

And you want to know why? The most annoying Zelda dungeon in HISTORY.

WATER TEMPLE!!!!

---

In reality, however, it wasn't totally 17 hours. I left the Wii running for a while, because I was so annoyed by it, while the game was paused. Second time I replayed this game, I actually thought the Water Temple wasn't too bad! And first time - I think I used a walkthrough or something. Idk. Why was it so hard THIS TIME? WHHHY?!

...Well, I KNOW why. Because I lost a stupid key. I needed one to get into the room before Dark Link - yeah, I even KNEW what room it was! - but I couldn't find the key. It took me FOREVER and a LOT a wandering to get it. And a lot of Farore's Wind usage.

This was actually the point that I wrote my post that got deleted on my DSi at. When I lost the key and couldn't find the stupid thing. I was musing on that post about Dark Link - I remembered hearing somewhere that his life depending on how many hearts you had? I have only three hearts, so...

He was REALLY easy. Comically easy. XD Even easier than the second time I played this game, and I thought he was easy then.

Well, first off, he WOULDN'T SHOW UP! I didn't know what to do in the room! It's all empty and whatever except the water and tree in the middle, right? So you're supposed to go to the other side of the room, turn around, and he's standing by the tree.

SO WHERE WAS HE WHEN I DID THAT?

I walked the length of that room like ten times before Dark Link showed up! Srsly! >.<

But from then on, it was Din's Fire, he disappears. Din's Fire, disapppear. Din's Fire, disappear. And he dies. :D Just three times. Thank you, few Heart Containers of mine.

After Dark Link, the Water Temple wasn't as bad anymore. Aside from the putting on and taking off Iron Boots that EVERYONE hates.

---

THEN it was Shadow Temple. Possibly my favorite Zelda dungeon. ...Or it WAS, until I got stuck in it, and my sister started pointing out how scary it was.

IF OoT HAD TP GRAPHICS, IT WOULD BE RATED T. And it would deserve it more than TP. IT'S SCARY! The walls in parts of the Shadow Temple are made of BONES!! Eeeek! And there's blood on the walls! And that Dead Hand... OMG... I NEVER want to see another one again...

And ReDeads...

Oh dear god, goddess, or whatever deity is up there... I hate them...

*shudder*

The only Zelda enemy to give me nightmares. And they were Wind Waker ReDeads. WIND WAKER!!!! That game that everyone thinks isn't mature enough!

Yeeahh... well... back to Shadow Temple. I got lost in the Bottom of the Well, that mini-dungeon you do when you're younger to get the Lens of Truth. The funny part? Well... I didn't know where to go, right? So I found this one room where there were holes in the ground you couldn't see. You'd need the Lens of Truth to see them. However, I didn't have that yet. I figured that by getting through the room, I'd GET the Lens of Truth. So I kept falling. And falling. And again. Again. Every time into a room with creepy green... something that I don't even WANT to know what it was... and a ReDead.

I HATE REDEADS! THEY DON'T EVEN BLOW UP! I threw, like, twenty bombs at him! And this creepy green blood come out, but he's not hurt. Nooooo. ReDeads are too GOOD to get hurt when blood squirts out.

...Like I said. Should be rated T.

Oh, and that room with the invisible holes? I got through it - WITHOUT the Lens of Truth. I used Bombchus to see if they would fall or not, and when I ran out, my Boomerang. Best I could think of. And when I finally get through it? There's no Lens of Truth. Nooo - that room was supposed to be done AFTER getting the Lens of Truth. Instead, I get... a Skulltula token.

WHAT THE HECK? I DON'T NEED SKULLTULAS! I ALREADY HAD THE GIANT'S WALLET! I don't even KNOW what you get after that... I never bothered trying to get anymore than what I needed for it.

*ahem* So. Enough of that. Shadow Temple went by pretty quickly - I DO love the eerie feeling of it. Just not the ReDeads. Or the Dead Hand. Or the blood. Or the skulls. Or the music. Or the Floormasters and Wallmasters (luckily, no wallmasters got me, but I think a Floormaster killed me once...). Yep. Besides that, though, it's awesome.

---

...That was the end of day two. Uh-huh. Finished five dungeons in, what, seven hours? And two... in sevenTEEN.

On to day three... and the Spirit Temple!

---

I think I spent too long in the Gerudo Fortress. I was having too much fun in there. OOH! And I learned where the colors of the Gerudo came from in the fan fiction, The Return! I thought the author made it up! ...Yeah. :P Didn't help, though, when I found the second-to-last captenter dude and saved him, and then accidentally got a Heart Piece. I turned it off and hadn't saved since saving the first dude. Had to find those two again.

So, Spirit Temple... did it as a little kid... umm... the conversation with Nabooru was pretty fun. Just because it gives you options as answers. I found it funny when she asks if you're one of Ganondorf's followers. The only thing is when you say, "What if I am?" (which I always do - I'm just that kind of person XD) she says something like, "No, you're too young to be one of his followers. Just kidding!"

Ugh. Why did she even ASK me in the first place, then? Hmph.

Then I went to fight an Iron Knuckle mini-boss. And guess what?

They hit exactly three hearts out of you if their sword connects...

And I only had three hearts...

EEK! IT KILLED ME IN ONE HIT!

Thank the Goddesses for fairies. :D And Young Link's tiny size! I ducked under it by holding the shield button and just started slamming B! Its sword swept right over my head because it was two stupid to try a vertical slice. So I killed it pretty quickly. :P And finally, I headed back to the Temple of Time for the Master Sword so I could complete the REST of the Spirit Temple. And another Iron Knuckle. It killed me three times, so that, with all four bottles, I only had one fairy left. And the boss fight? It's an Iron Knuckle too, or at least part of it is. And that killed me the first time, even with four fairies. >.< I tried again, but this time with my sister's BRILLIANT plan - USE NAYRU'S LOVE! That way, it won't kill me in one hit! :D

After that?

---

FINAL BOSS TIME!!!! YAAAAYYY!!!

I didn't like the cutscenes though. I wanted to hurry and complete it before the day was over. It was already really, really late at night... so I was going as fast as I could so I could say I completed it in three days. I dispelled the barrier things, and hurried through Ganondorf's Tower (and fought a few more Iron Knuckles), and theeeeennnn...

BOSS! Ganon! Yay! Almost dying... but then, I won! And I didn't die! WOOOOOOOT!

And that's my Ocarina of Time in three days over Winter Break story!

---

As I said, this wasn't a speed run, and I guarantee I could complete it in ONE day if I tried. I did a lot of unnecessary sidequests - part of the Happy Mask Shop, getting ALL FOUR BOTTLES, getting Biggoron Sword (that one took FOREVER), and all the Fairy Fountains. So I could have been quicker. :P

But that was pretty good, right? ;)

And in case you didn't get the post title, it was three days, so it was the same time as Majora's Mask... yeah... XD

Um, like I mentioned at the top, I really don't have room to describe Twilight Princess. This will be one heck of a long post if I did that. I'll put it in a SEPARATE POST! And since I have nothing better to do right now, I might as well start writing it...

So... yep! That's the new longest post ever on Medli's Messages. And boy, was it fun to write. Even if no one reads it. :) It's the result of boredom on a day off - I was sick at home today. Uh-huh.

Now... I gotta close this up...

GOOD NIGHT! :)

MC Update - Gods. I fail at observation/map reading/solving puzzles. To an extent.

First off, Roy is a total, complete, OVERPOWERED CHARACTER IN SUPER SMASH BROS. MELEE!!!! Plus, the game FAVORS HIM! I SWEAR! I would have won every round against my sister if it weren't for LUCK. When we turned off items, I continuously pwned her as Young Link... but WITH items... I failed. Epicly.

*sigh* Oh, and all our pictures on that game are corrupted. ...At least the whole game data isn't. :D And another Wind Waker file was lost. This one was in Tower of the Gods. And I had been working on it too. :( Now the only one left on that memory card is Noob's. ...It's named Linky and in the Forsaken Fortress. XD

So now it's like I haven't even completed one DUNGEON on Wind Waker. >.<

........

Anyway.... Sorry. That was my Super Smash Bros. Melee rant from earlier tonight, because Rowan kept pwning all the Zelda characters as Roy. It was frustrating me. At least I got my revenge when items were taken out of the equation.

On to the update now? XD

So. Minish Cap. Yeah. Where to begin? Well, probably wherever my last update left off, but I don't even remember where that is.

...
...
...

*looks up* XD

Oh! Power Bracelets! Riiiight.

Anyway, I DID end up asking Sydney, lolz. She's BETTER than a walkthrough, because she can just give me a HINT rather than complete answers. Apparently, there's ANOTHER entrance into Lake Hylia! O: So she led me to that (it was through Lon Lon Ranch) and I took it from there. After that... I met Librari. Who I decided I hated. That tends to happen with me - I meet a video game character and immediately decide whether they are under the title of "HATE," "LIKE," "ANNOYING," or "EPIC." Link is in two categories - like and epic. Zelda too. XD Oh, and Ashei from Twilight Princess. She's just awesome. And maybe Midna, too. MAYBE. But most of my partners are under the "hate" or "annoying" category, simply because you're around them so much that they get frustrating and tiring. Except Navi. She's sooooooo annoying within the first five minutes of the game that she's in a category all her own, BELOW hate. :P Did I ever mention how she told me to go to the Bottom of the Well when I was IN the dang Well? Yeah...

I get off topic too easily. Sheesh. Back to the main post... what was it? Librari. Well, he's "HATE" because he dumped me in a dungeon without letting me prepare! >.< I got flippers at the end though. Yayz.

Okay, okay, then I swam to dropletts temple. Within the first, like, five rooms, however... I found the boss key. And I knew EXACTLY where the boss room was.

So I was freaking out at this point, thinking I'd either cheated the game, done something wrong, or that there would be an extremely unexpected twist coming up. You do NOT have a Zelda dungeon that's five rooms long.

As it turns out, it wasn't any of the above. Not cheating, nothing wrong, and nothing sufficiently unexpected. Just that the second half of the dungeon was behind the boss room doors. :P

I fought the boss: a giant Octorok. It took me FOREVER to figure how to kill him... I thought you'd have to get behind him to whack him or something, but apparently you're supposed to hit the rocks back at him with your sword...

SO.

After that, I got the THIRD ELEMENT!!!! It was the WATER ELEMENT! :D So exciting.

Then I had to sneak into the castle to infuse the sword with the new element for my third clone. :P But, geez, those guards... their voices, when they screamed "HEY!" just scared me for some reason. Could be because I was alone at night with everyone else in the house asleep, just sitting on my bed playing the game with headphones on... XD

Then I went to find a king dude in a graveyard! It was fun!

Then I received a GOLDEN KINSTONE! O: He told me to take it to "source of all flow."

Now... here's when my epic fail comes in. Summarizing it, btw, because I gtg...

I was REALLY smart, and thought "source of all flow... WATERFALL!" I felt so proud of myself for figuring that out.

I went there, to Veil Falls... but had no clue what to do.

So I decided "Maybe I'm wrong..." So I randomly picked up the Minish Cap manga and read it. Guess what? At the part with the king, he oh-so-bluntly states, "Take this kinstone to Veil Falls."

I'm in Veil Falls.

*more convinced that I'm right...*

THEN I went to the smith dude's house. He tells me to go to Veil Falls, TOO!!!!

*TOTALLY convinced I'm right...*

...But no idea what to do.

I happened to go to Sydney's house, so I dejectedly and reluctantly asked her where to take the kinstone.

She tells me Veil Falls.

Okay, I was SOOOOOOOO RIGHT.

I ask her what to do there.

...She doesn't remember... >.<

FORTUNATELY, her BROTHER, Hunter, remembered! :D ...He showed me a DIFFERENT route into the waterfall that I COMPLETELY missed.

Thus the reason I can't read maps/observe things. To an extent. Because I totally PWNED THAT SOURCE OF FLOW THING! XD

That's all for tonight. I found the wall thingy I'm supposed to fuse the golden kinstone with, so I guess I'm on my way to the wind tribe and the final element. And my eleventh (or tenth... I forget) Zelda game completion. ;)

So goodnight. Again.

*STILL LOOKING FOR FANFIC IDEAS* :P

Slight Changes

In case you haven't noticed, I've added those "pages" things to the side of my blog. I don't really know why. Mostly to take out ALL that stuff in my blog description that was clogging the thing up. And just for fun. XD

Another thing I changed are the labels. I used to split up the titles of my game - for instance, for The Wind Waker, I would put "Wind", then "Waker" as two separate labels. That wasn't working, especially when I got to A Link to the Past. I ended up putting "Link" and "Past", but "Link" was already on so many other entries... so I changed it so that they will be ONE word. Took me forever, considering how many entries I have, but I FINALLY did it! ;)

Oh, and I also added a poll. Should I change the header? I actually made a new one already, but I like the current one, too. I was thinking I would maybe make three or four of them and then ask which ones you guys like best.

And that's all! No updates today - nothing happened. I haven't played anything Zelda today. Except for piano. I learned the Stone Tower Temple theme from Majora's Mask. Man, I hated that temple, with Twinmold and everything, and all that upside-down turning stuff with Light Arrows. Ugh. But the song is pretty... if not catchy and somewhat annoying... O.o

FSA Update - Let's the play throw OTHER people in jail game! :P

Finally, I made it past those dang searchlights! And this time, I only got caught THREE times!

You know what's funny? Whenever I'm playing this game, Vio tends to be the stupidest. I find myself getting mad at him more than any of the others. And in the manga, he's the SMART one! Yeah, right! He won't even push that darn rock out of the way!

Uh... so now I'm in Kakariko village. Or, um, I'm not anymore. I'm in the Desert... temple. I guess. Somewhere in some Desert of Doubt, that's all I know. XD

But Kakariko is what this update is about. At first I was confused, because I FORGOT I can pick up trees (I'm an idiot sometimes). But when I accidentally did, I found a secret path into some random guy's house! He told me to thrown all the thieves in town into JAIL! :D And then I opened the chests in his house... and there was nothing in them. O.o What's the point of having two nice, giant chests just sitting there when there's NOTHING in them? Well, at least it wasn't a Big Bomb. Seriously, I kept finding them. -.-

So I gathered up all the thieves AND GOT MY REVENGE! MUHAHAH! :P

And now... that's all. It was fun throwing people in jail, though.

You kow, there was this jerk girl standing outside of the village who started screaming her head off at me when I talked to her. She's like, "Put out these fires now, then GET OUT OF OUR VILLAGE!" Geez, what did I do? When I put out the fires like she said, she's like, "Oh, you're not that shadow guy?" O.o SHE THOUGHT I WAS SHADOW LINK! Seriously, he doesn't look THAT much like Link...

I've saved five maidens. OOH, and the white one's related to Navi! She's EVIL!

So, I'm in the desert place now. And... that's all. Yep.

...OMG! I actually finished a post! I'M SO PROUD! XD

OoT Update... but...

Tonight I can't play Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, and PROBABLY not even Wind Waker. Why? Because I got grounded from the Wii. :( Isn't it strange that by taking away just ONE of my gaming systems, you eliminate at least four Zelda games? Geez. Wind Waker will probably not be available either, because my sister will be playing Brawl (it's kinda how I got grounded... I wouldn't let her play Brawl... O.o) and she always uses the Game Cube controller (because of Melee, but I've grown used to the Wii/Nunchuck, so I use that instead). That leaves three others for me to use... but... the TV that our Game Cube is connected to is MUCH bigger than the one for our Wii - and it has better sound quality, picture quality... in fact, the only things I don't like is I can't film stuff on my cell phone on it because it's too high up (it's in some kind of TV case-shelf thing) and that the brightness settings are kind of messed up (it's IMPOSSIBLE to play Twilight Princess with all the dark surroundings... and I was even having trouble seeing when it was night on WW!). So... remember how I said it was high up? That means that I can't use the wired controllers with it. We have four controllers: two wired, two wireless. So I need the wireless ones. Problem? Well, over time, one of our wireless ones has started messing up occasionally - it will randomly start thinking you're pressing left. It happened a LOT when we were playing with Paige and Taryn yesterday to my sister using the controller. Marth kept randomly going to the side. xD It gave White Link (me!) the points though, so I'm happy. :P

...Ummm... yeah...

So, all I can do is Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks (and POSSIBLY WW).

Nooow... should I start the update?

Well, on OoT, I was trying to complete the Spirit Temple (again :D). I had JUST gotten the Silver Gauntlets as a kid. Oh, it was funny when the owl saw me. I started screaming at him, mostly to amuse Taryn who was in the room with us, and because I just hate him and have ever since I first saw him on the game (I'm serious. I even declared I hated him when I first met him). The least favorite thing he says is anything about "courage and determination". He would NOT stop emphasizing that in Majora's Mask in Snowpeak... and I had to watch it TWICE because of my failures in saving. I wanted to punch the TV our that time. And I wanted to tear up Sydney's story when Falmea in her story said to her, "You have great courage and determination, Sydney." XD

Anyway, THIS time, he said, "You've really matured into an adult, Link!" And I'm thinking, Um, you're saying this to a little kid... and, btw, I'm wearing the Bunny Hood... very mature... xD

Oh, yeah. I worked on the Mask Shop sidequest. I was planning on finishing it up for the Mask of Truth, but I couldn't figure out where the Bunny Hood goes. And I STILL don't know. I've forgotten. For some reason, I think I recall giving it to some guy in Hyrule Field, but that doesn't make sense. There's no one out there...

Besides, I'm still a bit reluctant to help out the Happy Mask Salesman after what happened in Termina...

LttP Update - Well, the "bunny" wasn't as cute as I thought it would be...

Remember how I kept saying, "I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE LINK AS A BUNNY!" ...Yeah, it wasn't so great. And it was only, like, two times that I saw him that way until I got the Moon Pearl.

So, if I have the Moon Pearl, what do you think that means?

I GOT THE MASTER SWORD!

Had some fun throwing the fake ones around... just like my sister was talking about... xD

And then I got the REAL one!

And I got the Ether Medallion and Quake Medallion! Although I have no clue what they do, besides some really awesome move that makes me think of Din's Fire, Farore's Wind, and Nayru's Love from OoT.

So... Moon Pearl... Master Sword... beat that ANNOYING third boss... ugh. He gave me deja vu to Twinmold on Majora's Mask, and that is NOT good memories! Well, until I got the Chateau Romani it wasn't, at least. Now Chateau Romani is my best friend, especially when doing the Fierce Deity glitch (which I do quite frequently).

Oh! AND I beat Agahinim! Now, Agahinim... how do you think you pronounce his name? Meh, well, my friends and I kind of have an inside joke with his name, because of the odd way I pronounced it the first time I saw it. I said something like a-god-HEE-nam! Now I always say the HE part really, really loudly. xD

So, I'm in the Dark World, trying to save the first Maiden. I made it all the way to the boss (meaning I have Hammer now! Yay!), but I'm stuck. I CANNOT beat this guy. He is TOTALLY like Helmoroc King on Wind Waker - which makes me wonder if all the bosses in later games are based on LttP ones. Helmoroc King is EASY, but this guy - he's impossible! I keep dying, even when I went in with a fairy and full health! Grr... I know WHAT to do (whack him with your hammer until his shield breaks, then hit him with a few arrows), I JUST CAN'T DO IT!

So... I got the Magic Boomerang, too, which just makes the best item in the entire game better! And that awesome shield. And... uh... ooh! Master Sword PWNS! I can shoot lasers! :D

That's it... xD

TP Update - Again: TOO. EASY.

There's something wrong with my game. There MUST be. Because Twilight Princess IS THE EASIEST ZELDA GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED.

I have the Master Sword already!

Okay... I SHOULD be playing A Link to the Past...

But I'm on a roll! Now I'll complete Arbiter's Grounds, then Snowpeak (OOOH! Anyone who read my old posts would know that I LOVE Snowpeak! xD), then the Sky, and then... Twilight Realm? Geez! See, almost done!

I saw my "C is for Cookie" cutscene, where Zant meets you after finishing the Water Temple. I was smartical and took off Zora armor before going off, because Zora armor ruins the cutscene. xD I WOULD put on Magic Armor if I had it... ooh, that would have looked so awesomeful... But I don't have it. So I just had to pretend Zant was saying C IS FOR COOKIE without Magic Armor. :)

Um... other games...

I GOT LINEBECK III DARK ORE ON SPIRIT TRACKS!

And... and... did Temple of Ocean King place!

And... and... I AM STUCK IN FOREST TEMPLE ON OCARINA OF TIME!

And... and..

That's all I got. -.-

LttP Update - Now what?

This game is confusing. The controls and everything is fun, and the puzzles are great, but how are you suppose to know what to do? The beginning was great. Zelda guided me through a lot of it, and then tells me EXACTLY where to go in Karikaro, and then another kid tells me EXACTLY where to find the elder, then the elder tells me EXACTLY where to find the temple - and then it kind of stops there.

I completed the first temple. I thought it was really cute when I beat the boss, lolz. The way Link spins his sword just made me laugh with delight. But they COULD have made the length of time that you hold the Pendant just a TINY bit shorter. o.o

I hurried back to the elder, and guess what? The only thing he does is hands me pegasus boots and tells me is "go to the east side of Lake Hylia". Now, any other game, I'd know exactly where Lake Hylia is... but HOW am I suppose to know where it is on this game when I'VE ONLY BEAT ONE DARN TEMPLE? Geez! They did NOT think that out very well!

I traveled around and FINALLY figured out where the "East side of Lake Hylia" was. Guess what I found in there? ICE ROD! O: Just like Red in Four Swords manga! Yay!

And now I'm TOTALLY confused. I guess I should go back to the elder, maybe. He might tell me where to go now... possibly. Ugh. Because I didn't know what to do, I kind of just wandered around Hyrule and explored. I found some guy playing the flute with beautiful woodland animals all around. Then he ran away. -.- And then I went to Karikaro and blew up some guy's house to find out where his brother was hidden. Then I went outside the house, and some random girl told me to race to the finish in fifteen seconds. I was like, "Um, okay," and I did eighteen seconds. From then on, I was obsessed with trying to beat my record until I FINALLY got fifteen seconds exactly and this guy gave me a Piece of Heart. Then I found a building with this weird book-ish sign on top of it, so I went inside and found rows and rows of books. There was one particular green-colored book on top of a bookcase, but I couldn't reach. Rowan had an idea, though, so she ran into the bookcase with the Pegasus Boots and the Book of Mudora fell down! All it does it make weird beeping noises though. Unless you need magic power. I wasted all my magic power playing with the Ice Rod. xD Then I tried to catch some guy who keeps running away. I totally failed numerous times before deciding that you WEREN'T suppose to catch him. And then... I also got caught by these annoying girls who keep screaming "Help! That's Link, the guy who stole Princess Zelda!" I'm like, "Thanks, lady," and then the guards come after me. But they're stupid. As Sydney told me, "they can see through walls but can't walk through them." So he keeps on running into a bush until I finally cut it down by accident and he came after me. And, really, why do they only send one guard in the first place? If I'm able to sneak Zelda out of the castle, either not catching the attention of the guard or defeating them, WHY would ONE guard capture me? Or kill me. Whatever they were trying to do...

So... I suppose tonight I'll go after one of the pendants. I still don't know which one I'm suppose to go after, so I'll just guess the one closest to Karikaro. No clue what it is, though. In fact, I don't know which pendant I just got. xD

LttP Update - The Boomerang OWNS!

I now have two items on A Link to the Past: Boomerang and Bow!

Okay, actually, scratch that. I have the lantern, too. And bombs. And I think I have a bottle. Probably other stuffs, too, that I can't remember.

But, still, boomerang is my favorite so far. Isn't that surprising? I mean, the boomerang was SERIOUSLY neglected in Ocarina of Time - you use it for, what, half a temple (or in this case, Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly O.o), then turn into adult Link so you can't use it any longer! In Wind Waker, it was used a BIT more, but not by much. It's super helpful when you're in the Forbidden Woods, but otherwise, arrows are SO much better. What about Majora's Mask? Wait... do you get the boomerang on there? If you do, I've already forgotten, so it can't be that important. xD Um... what other games? Ooh! Twilight Princess was kind of an improvement. There was WIND with that awesome boomerang. Bestest boomerang ever, for sure. :P But, still, you don't use it much. I think that, with the wind and all that, they could have made a lot more puzzles with it outside of the Forest Temple. That would have been lots of fun.

Now, on other games I have, like Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, the Boomerang is a GREAT item. In fact... sometimes I prefer it over bow and arrows (now always, though, especially when you get Bow of Light in ST)! You get draw a line for it to go. Awesome, right? And, especially in ST, you get to use it for lots of fun puzzles. Like, bringing fire over to melt some ice, or bringing an icy fire over a lake to freeze it? AWE-SOME!

But, still...

Boomerang isn't always the top item of the Zelda series. I've gathered at least that much from my games.

However, in a Link to the Past, I can't help but love it! And... hate my arrows.

They're a disappointment, in this game. They take too long to take out, first of all, and then they can only go in a straight path. The boomerang, on the other hand, I can direct in the way I want to go. An unsuspecting monster to my left can take a major WHACK from my boomerang if I choose to make it go that way! :P

So... I've been taking too long to write this post. Point is: In LttP, Boomerang pwns, Bow stinks.

Now I'm, um, stuck... I think. Maybe. Just because I can't remember what part I'm at. Oh, wait! Now I do! I died in this one room! xD Um, okay. Guess I shouldn't advertise that. So, I'm not stuck, then, I just need to get past the room where a zillion cannon balls are all shooting at me. Ugh. So, I'm in the East Temple, btw. I didn't know this until my sister told me, but apparently you can do the temples in any order? Hmm. Well, I just can't wait to go to the Dark World. You turn into a bunny, there! YAY! BUNNY!

You know, the other day we saw a dead bunny on the side of the road...

Um... changing the subject now...

MM Update - SUCCESS!

Did I say Twinmold was hard? Just kidding! Honestly... it's easy once you have Chateau Romani on your side!

I had some friends over yesterday. One of them is a little girl that takes piano lessons at our house, and the other is her brother. Both are younger than me. However, I still enjoy younger kids, for some reason. I mean, Sydney's younger than me, and she's, what, my best friend!

Annnnnnyway....

Well, the girl's brother (Noob, if you read my "this might be helpful" or whatever page thingy) came in to watch me play Majora's Mask. To get him excited, I told him I was going to fight the "BIG BAD BOSS!" (Dun dun dun!) I drank my good ol' Chateau Romani, and then he got in trouble for some reason and had to do something before he could watch me fight the BIG BAD BOSS! (and yes, I know I'm being vague. That's purposeful. xD) However, he made me promise that I'd still let him watch the BIG BAD BOSS! (I'll always write it like that :P)

Disappointed, I went into the boss room anyway and played around in the area above the swirling vortex of doom that begins the fight. First, I decided to test if my magic power really was unlimited. Though Rowan continuously promised it was, I did a couple Spin Attacks to check. Then I randomly began shooting Light Arrows, pleased that I had infinite magic power. However, I didn't have infinite arrows, so I began to run out, so I stopped.

Then, utterly bored, I took out my hookshot and started shooting in random directions. Then I noticed the chest above the boss's vortex, and grinned as I realized I could hookshot it. Despite my sister's pleading to wait for our friend, I shot at it and fell into the boss fight. I put on my Giant's Mask, and considered fighting, but my sister kept telling me to wait. So, reluctantly I took off the mask and played Song of Soaring to go back to the entrance.

This time, I waited outside the boss chamber, and guess what? A glitch happened! Those flying pots that spin around and try to attack you got stuck in a corner on the ceiling! I tried everything to get it down - Hookshot, arrows, LIGHT arrows, Komaro's Mask (danced for it xD), Circus Leader's Mask (cried for it), Bremen Mask (marched), Bunny Hood (okay, I always wear this, lol), and everything else I could think of.

Then the guy came back in, and I finally fought the BIG BAD BOSS.

And won!

So... then I did the Kafei and Anju sidequest, and now I OFFICIALLY HAVE ALL THE MASKS IN THE GAME (except Fierce Diety Mask :( )!!!!!!!

Yay. So, today, I'm going to fight the BIGGEST, BADDEST BOSS OF ALL TIME... Majora's Mask! :D (Well, except for maybe Gannon, he's probably worse... maybe...)

ST Update - BEST. ENDING. EVER.

I already completed Spirit Tracks!

...Dangit... now I have to do Majora's Mask... which is HARD...

Whatever. The ending was FANTASTIC!

If you have the game and/or don't want spoilers, you'd better not read on!

It was amazing, though. After a period of time when I was ever so slightly stuck in the Tower of Spirits, I figured out what to do and managed to escape with the Compass of Light! That item apparently helps me find the Dark Realm. New tracks "ominously" appeared (lol, that's what it said) and led off into complete darkness. In the Dark Realm, I died at least a dozen times, but I FINALLY defeated all the enemy trains and the Demon Train! Then after a short cutscene (and it played a song from my favorite Zelda game, Wind Waker!) I got to go ahead and fight the Demon King and Chancellor Cole! I didn't do so well at first, but hey, I didn't use a potion, so that's good (I needed it for the FINAL final boss, anyway)! I SO didn't like the rats that Chancellor Cole made appear, though. Zelda was terrified of them, they totally pwned me more than once, and if they touched Zelda, they made her turn on me! And trust me, it is NOT nice to have a Phantom turn on you.

Once I completed THAT, I saw another cutscene in which Zelda finally gets her body back! Good for her! ...But bad for me. I didn't have a Phantom buddy anymore, and she stole my Light Bow, just like in Wind Waker! D:

Well, it helped me, I guess. Except when I had to protect her. That was HARD. She got hit four times before I managed to deflect all the meteors that the Demon King was sending at me.

The REAL ending though, after I defeated the king, was the best! For the first time in ANY Zelda game I've ever played, Zelda and Link actually defeat the Demon King TOGETHER. It was so cute! Zelda helped Link hold of up the sword. Awesome!

Then, at the very, very, VERY end, Byrne, Anjean, and the other Lokomos flew away and Link and Zelda held hands.

Ooh... I KNEW THEY LIKED EACH OTHER!

Well, that's too bad. I really miss playing Spirit Tracks - it is officially one of my top favorite Zelda games (while PH is STILL at the bottom). Sigh... I wish I could play it again... Oh, wait, I CAN! YES! I'm going to delete my file and start over! Yay!

ST Update - Just when it was getting good...

I completed the Ocean Temple, finally! YES!!!! It was awesome, and that was probably my favorite Zelda boss of all time. It was fantastic! I got that whip thing I wanted to terribly. It is just as amazing as I'd imagined it would be.

But...

I headed back to this place called "Tower of Spirits" that you always have to go to after you complete a dungeon so that I could get the final Rail Map. Unfortunately, I am currently stuck. I was just playing it a few minutes ago, and then I got stuck. So stuck that even with both of us (Rowan and me) working to solve the puzzle, we can't figure it out. Geez! I mean, all its prequels, Phantom Hourglass and Wind Waker, I got through easily (except for Wind Temple and Forsaken Fortress on WW - those WERE kinda hard). This is the first time in a while I've been stuck on a Zelda game (MM and OoT don't count, lol - they're technically not real games the way I have them, because I don't have a disk)!

What I did was get all three Tears of Light like I'm suppose to, get my sword all shiny and glowy and whatever, stun a Phantom, make Zelda possess it, figure out all these super hard puzzles to get up I think three floors, and then got stuck. I got a small key, but there's this big giant wall blocking my way to the locked door and I have absolutely NO idea how to move it. O. o

Sigh... I guess I'll have to figure it out... I mean, nothing is impossible... right?

PH - Okay, I'll admit it. Action Replay CAN be bad sometimes...

Lucky for me, so far Action Replay hasn't done anything too bad to my Pokemon game. However, apparently it works differently for Zelda games.

Seth Goldenblood, the person who's been letting me use his AR to get those FANTASTIC Pokemon, has a little brother, who's name in the game is Quinn... something. Anyway, he got ALL the way to the Goron Island in Phantom Hourglass. That's pretty far! I would hate to lose all that progress... but he made a huge mistake that is now forcing him to do so.

When they came to my house the other day, Quinn said to me, "Will you pretty please help me with Phantom Hourglass?" He knows that I have beat the game, and everytime he comes over her asks me that. So I replied, "Sure", not expecting it to be so incredibly... IMPOSSIBLE to complete.

He turned on his game, and told me he was trying to get the Azurine or whichever the Goron pure metal is (I forget, lol). He was right outside the Temple that you get the metal in. I said, "Oh, you have to complete that temple. Haven't you done that yet?"

He said, "Yeah. I already defeated the boss."

I was surprised. "Then why do you need my help getting the metal?"

Finally Seth, who was a bit older and easier to understand, spoke up, saying, "He can't get off the island. He has to talk to all the Gorons there before he can leave."

Now I was REALLY confused. To get into the temple to get the pure metal, you have to become a "brother to the Gorons" by talking to every Goron on the island and then taking a quiz. It didn't make any sense at all... "You can't have the metal if you haven't done that! Why don't you just get on the ship and leave?" I took the game from him and proceeded to do so. I went to Linebeck, and after saying some annoying line about, "Do you really want to leave your cousins, Link? Don't get emotional about leaving them!" he said that we could ship out.

Then Ciela - that annoying, fluttering puff-ball fairy that says "Hey!" all the time a NEVER lets you do anything fun - shows up and says, "No, Link! You have to talk to all the Gorons on the island so you can get the pure metal!"

Oh great. I groaned aloud, probably. "What the HECK did you do, Quinn!" I shouted at him. "This is NOT supposed to happen." I looked up at his map, where there were black dots all over. "What are those?"

"I marked where all the Gorons are," he explained.

Woah. He'd even marked all of them! He HAD to have talked to them all! "But... I don't get it! How in the world did you get into the temple if you aren't a brother to the Gorons yet?"

Seth spoke up again. "Allow me to explain," he said. He guided Link to the usual enterance to the temple, which was still blocked by the Goron as it is before you become "Goro-Link". "He used an Action Replay code to jump over this guy. Then he completed the temple and beat the boss."

"Uh-oh," I groaned again. This was SO not good. I quickly took the game again and ran back toward the Goron Leader's house - and to my surprise found TWO Gongorons in there. "What in the world..." I said. I talked to the one on the left. He said, "We do not like outsiders here. My name is Gongoron. You'd better remember that!" or something. I recognized it as what he would say when you are still trying to become a member of the Goron tribe. I talked to the one on the right next. He said, "That was great, brother! You have the pure metal! You'd better talk to my father about it, first."

I burst out laughing. I finally understood! His game was caught between a mixture of the two parts of the the Goron Isle. Gongoron appeared on both sides - once when you first meet him, once after you complete the temple. Now they were both there at the same time. So, hoping to find at least some relief, I talked to the Goron Leader. "You have not talked to every Goron, outsider," he said. "Talk to me again when you have." I began giggling again. I turned around and explained all that I'd figured out to Quinn and Seth.

Seth started laughing again while Quinn scowled. "It's not funny," he growled.

"Yes, it IS funny, Quinn!" Seth yelled between laughs. "You'll have to start the game over again!"

Zelda TP Update - Geez, why did I never notice this game was so EASY!

Seriously, like the title says, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, though one of the best titles in the series and surely the one with best graphics and best storyline, is the EASIEST of them all.

I mean, really, I've already found the Mirror of Twilight again! And wow, I have nine hearts. Way too many for the amount of bosses I have beat, proving that Pieces of Heart are not difficult to find. I have beat the first level of the STAR game, too! HAHAHAHA! TAKE THAT, RIP OFF GUY! He hates wolves anyway. He's allergic, lol. That is the first thing I did when I got the Master Sword - transformed into a wolf and went in the STAR game tent to scare him. xD I really, really dont like that guy.

Soo, yeah. I completed Forest Temple, Death Mountain, Zora place, got Master Sword, did Arbiter's Grounds, and am now working on Snowpeak. Aww, that reminded me! Once Taryn, Rowan, Sydney, and I were all having so much fun on my previous file before I deleted it, and I was in Snowpeak, so I went sledding, and then we all went CRAZY trying to beat Yeto. I was the only one who actually got the record in the end. :) Sydney came really close, but fell off the edge at the end. Lol, that was the same day of my Coven of kitties, Freak Cat, and the Hidden Village.

Haha, anyway, Snowpeak is one of my favorite levels. I can't wait! :D

OoT Update! - Spirit Temple DONE!

OMG OMG OMG I was sooooo happy last night! I FINALLY finished that impossible Spirit Temple! I got the Mirror Shield and the Silver Gauntlets. YES YES YES! And I met Zelda, finallly, too! And now I'm supposed to fight Gannon, which is kinda scary, so yeah... but still, yay! I will be able to claim that I truly am the Hero of Time and beat the Ocarina of Time game! YAYAYAYAYAY! Lol, you should have heard me when I found Zelda and she was giving me light arrows. I litterally was sitting in front of the screen bouncing up and down and screaming "Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy!" Lol, I had soooo much fun, and I gtg now, but I will tell you all the fun we had last night later, including a surprise attack from a TREASURE CHEST (that was unexpected O.o) and our new nickname for the Ice Twinrova (which is odd, because she's ice, and I'm an ice wizard...), Cup Cake, and how she got it.

Temple of Time - The same as OoT???

Well, if you read my post below, you will know that I recently completed the Temple of Time of Twilight Princess. I just realized - we're going back in time to the Temple, aren't we? So that means that it is far in the past. But I realized that this must be THE Temple of Time, the same one from Ocarina of Time - you know, where the Master Sword is? It even has the same music! Believe me, I'd know - I spent four minutes (I made a video of it to prove it! ROFL!) trying to figure out the Song of Time on the ocarina and the entire time I had to listen to that annoying song! It is soooo catchy, and I had that (and Saria's song, and Epona's song) stuck in my head the whole next day! Why do Zelda songs have to be so catchy?!?

As I was saying, we went into the Temple of Time on Twilight Princess. To go inside the actual dungeon part of the Temple (which obviously can't be accessed in Ocarina) you had to put your Master Sword back in the pedastal for a few seconds so that the shiny blue stairs appear and you can follow Ooccoo up it! So, after the Temple Rowan and I started joking with each other. Then I first realized it - how far back in time are we going? If this is the exact same temple as in OoT, then could the other Link still be trying to defeat Gannon? I noticed that the Master Sword wasn't in the pedastal when I had come in. Could that be because the Ocarina of Time Link was currently using it? ROFL! That would be so cool!

So then Rowan and I began talking about it. What if Ocarina of Time Link came in at the same time? What if we were a wolf? Or had just defeat the boss?

Then, it was even more hilarious. We returned to TP time, and then Rowan mentioned something about the Kokiri Forest. When I asked her, she explained that the area outside the Temple of Time was the Lost Woods! OMG! How did I NOT notice that?!? I started laughing as I said when we went to the ruins (which I am assuming is where you would always meet Saria as a little kid) "This is my house!" Then the I walked over to a pair of skulls around us and said "And this is Mido and that ugly kid outside Saria's house!" Then, in a total LOL moment, I accidentally shook the Nunchuck, which caused Link to do a spin attack and destroy to skulls. "Oops," I said. Rowan grinned and replied, "You double killed him!" We had soooo much fun.

And then, attempting to get out of the Lost Woods, I realized what Rowan said must be true. These HAD to be the Lost Woods. I continuously went in circles over and over. UGH! I hated the Lost Woods on Ocarina - it was SUCH a pain to repeat it! So, eventually I just turned it off. Luckily, the next day I was at the enterance again, so I just walked out backwards and easily escaped the woods of horrors. Good thing, too. I would have been stuck in there for hours!

Oh, and I forgot to say this. Another reason I speculate these things is that the boss in the Temple of Time was a giant spider that was on the roof. I totally had deja vu and exclaimed "It looks like Ghoma!" Then we both laughed as it dropped down from the ceiling and the familiar words announced its ;species', as I call it, and name: "Twilit Arachnid: Armoghoma". It's just like Ghoma with "Armo" before it! I was right! Hah!

The next day Sydney, Rowan, another girl that recently moved in near us, and I made up HILARIOUS stories all about this. Such as "What if the pedastal was broken? Saria or one of the other sages would have to put up a 'Out of order' sign" and so many other crazy things. Heh, this is the best discovery ever! Too bad there's going to be no one reading it that will actually understand what I mean, lol.
