LoZ Update - Getting random swords without doing some big long sidequest or having an epic cutscene? WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS GAME?

Item upgrades are a LOT easier to get in the first Zelda game.

...Not that I'm complaining, of course. But you know. Thought I'd point it out.

I now have a white tunic (what special powers it might give me, though, I'm not ENTIRELY sure), an upgraded sword (no clue what it's called, but suddenly old foes are easier), an upgraded shield (it doesn't look very different, but it blocks Zola fireballs now), and I FOUND another sword - just can't use it (stupid old man). Either I'm just lucky, or this is EASY.

White tunic - I was so confused at first. I just went in to this shop with the maximum rupees - speaking of which, is only 255! What the heck? Why'd they stop there? Is there ANY significance to that number or are they just like, "Oh, I like the number 255 - let's do that!" 99 makes sense... but 255? ...Okay, um, anyway, with 255 rupees, and the shopkeeper dude says "Boy, this is expensive!" And there's a Blue Ring in the center there for 250 rupees. I know that's what it's called because I somewhat paid attention when I left the title screen on and all the treasures possible in the game were revealed. So I'm like, "Okay... Idk what it does, but I'm gonna buy it! :D" So I did... and Link randomly changed into a white tunic.

At first I was freaking out, because I had NO clue what this meant... but then I noticed that suddenly, when the Leevers ran into me, it didn't steal any health right away! That's because my defense has been doubled! (I'm assuming, since no one tells you these things in this game. XD) SO HAH! TAKE THAT LEEVERS!!!!

THEN, in the second or third dungeon - which I probably should have mentioned I found at the beginning of this post, but whatev - an old man said something like, "Have you talked to the man at the top of the waterfall?" And I immediately remembered that as the cave Rowan took me to in our expeditions to find the first dungeon. I went there and got a new, epic sword! I THINK it doubled my attack, but then again, I have no idea. I ALSO went into the graveyard after paying this old woman to tell me how to get through the, as she called them, "Woods of Maze" (maybe that's a mistranslation though - I'm calling them Lost Woods XD), and when I pushed aside one of the graves, I found ANOTHER old man with a sword! O: ...But he wouldn't give it to me. *sob* Good news is that I kill Leevers - at least the red ones - in one hit now. Again: HAH! Plus, the Zolas aren't invincible anymore! If I hit them with sword beams or they're dumb enough to come close enough to land for me to slash at them, they die! DOUBLE HAH!

FINALLY, my last amazing upgrade, is... some shield that looks bigger. I bought it in the shop after saving up for a while. I was a little afraid, since I know I've made a mistake with buying identical shields to the current one in shops on other games- usually they're just there if a Like-Like or something takes them, and you end up wasting your money. But I took a chance and bought it, and apparently it's bigger. Now it blocks the Zolas' fireballs. HAHAH!

Yeah. I hate Zolas and Leevers.

They're more evil than Ganon, I swear...

Anyway.

I'm on Level 5! It's kinda hard, though... ugh. There's these soldier thingies that are REALLY hard to beat. I think they're Darknuts, but I'm not sure.... hmm...

*looks up on Zelda Wiki, the most amazing website ever created besides Wizard101 and Wizard101 Central*

OMG! I WAS RIGHT! THEY ARE DARKNUTS! It's amazing how I know all these Zelda enemies, even though I'd never played this game before! XD OOH! I'M GONNA GO LOOK UP THAT CENTAUR THING NOW!

*check*

LYNEL! It's called a LYNEL! I will remember that. What else don't I know? Goriyas? Ooh. So those things with the boomerangs WEREN'T Moblins. Vire? What is THAT? ...Oh! I remember seeing those in one of the dungeons. They were EXTREMELY annoying. They turn into Keese when you attack them...

Wait? No Zolas on the list? They're ZORAS? I'm going to call them Zolas instead, since I KNOW I saw it spelled that way somewhere. After all, 'r' and 'l' are almost the same thing in Japanese - so I've heard. "Zelda" in Japanese is "Zeruda," anyway. Thanks to my amazing Korean-speaking friend who knows a lot about foreign languages, she pronounced it for me and it DOES sound like Zelda... Ooh. And Link is Rinku, in case you were wondering. :P But you don't really pronounce the 'u' much, and the 'r' sounds like an 'l', remember? XD

...WHY AM I TALKING ABOUT JAPANESE? This isn't exactly explaining what happened in Level 5 with the Darknuts and all...

You know, I'm gonna give up this post for tonight. Enough off-topicness. XD I'm tired, and... I have a LOT of homework to do... dang...

Yeah, that's SO not getting done tonight.

'Night!

LoZ Update - OMGIjustboughtthefirstZeldagameandI'mtooexcitedtoputspacesinbetweenthesewordsandYAY!

...Read the post title. If it's decipherable.

Here we are - my eleventh Zelda game: the famous Legend of Zelda. Amazingly, although it's old, it's just as fun as all the others, if not BETTER. I'm REALLY enjoying the whole "run around Hyrule without a map or any clue what to do" thing. It gives me an excuse to do nothing...

But now I can't find the second dungeon - or ANY dungeon for that matter. I didn't even find the first - my sister did. Dang it. >.< She also found the fifth for us. I found the third while I was searching for the second, but that's pretty much it. When I finally saw a dungeon after looking for FOREVER, I was like, "OMG!!!! YES! DUNGEON!" And then I went in and see "Level 3". I was pretty upset. Like... let's throw the GameCube controller across the room and switch to Wii, then throw that too.

That's another nice part... Wii controllers work with this game, too. And our GameCube controllers are stupid - one has the little rubber covering over the control stick coming off and it ANNOYS me when I play, and the other has a tendency that when you press the control stick in one way, the game thinks you're pressing that indefinitely. It happened a lot in Brawl, Ocarina of Time, and Wind Waker. It's kind of funny - characters randomly start running to the side. And then one of our other controllers (the wireless ones) decides to not turn on sometimes. So we only have ONE working GC controller. XD So Wii controllers are MUCH better.

Now... I could write a detailed description in my normal way of writing posts... or I could do it in this somewhat fun idea that I came up with. Every time we died and started over, something interesting would happen...

And I've died twenty times, even though I'm only on level one. XD Srsly. The game counts.

Luckily, I don't remember all twenty times... so let's just write about the ones that might make you laugh, 'kay?

START

Me: YAYS! NEW ZELDA GAME! Okay, let's see... start here... ooh! I know this! I played it on the Brawl demo. I'm gonna - GO IN THE CAVE! Yeah! Sword... uh-huh... now what?

Rowan (my sis): Oh! I think I know! Remember that speed run we watched on YouTube? I think I remember where the guy went for the first dungeon.

Me: Really? Where?

Rowan: Let me show you...

Me: Um, no.... *We fight over controller for a while. Since technically it's my file and I'm the one who bought the game in the first place, I win.* Just tell me where to go.

Rowan: FINE. ...Um, up. I think. Now right... up...

Me: *gets hit on screen and gasps* WHOA! LEEVERS! I HATE LEEVERS!!!! *runs around trying to kill the stupid monsters... and then a Zola pops up and hits Link, killing him*

Rowan: ...Did you just die?

Me: ...Um... yeah... maybe. I officially hate Zolas.

DEATH TWO (or something like that)

*gets sword from old man in cave*

Rowan: Remember... up... right... up... AVOID THE LEEVERS!

Me: I'm TRYING! They're kind of HARD to avoid! They pop up out of NOWHERE! As if I didn't hate them on Twilight Princess in that stupid "fix the bridge for the Goron dude" sidequest... Or outside the Spirit Temple on Ocarina of Time... Or-

Rowan: You're a little scary sometimes when you talk about LoZ. Did you know that?

Me: Yes. Yes I did.

Rowan: Oh. Good.

*Link gets killed by ANOTHER LEEVER on screen*

DEATH THREE

Me: Are you sure we're going the right way? And HOW THE HECK DO I KILL THESE PEAHATS? OR THE ZOLAS? THEY'RE INVINCIBLE!!!

Rowan: Idk. But just ignore them. Umm... go up that way, and dodge the boulders.

Me: This game would be easier if there was a shield button.

Rowan: Um... you're holding a shield, aren't you? On the game?

Me: ...OMG. Link is. What the heck? Can't he use it?

*We go up a few screens until we reach a ton of Tektites*

Me: Wow! This is farther than we've gotten before! Now, let's kill the Tektites...

*waits*

Me: ...Um, why isn't my sword working?

Rowan: SIERRA!!!! YOU FORGOT TO GET THE SWORD FROM THE OLD MAN!!!!

Me: Oh. Shoot.

*dies*

DEATH FOUR

Me: Wow. I HAVE a sword this time, we're past the Tektites... now do we go up this ladder thing?

Rowan: Um... maybe...

Me: Okay. *enters an area with a cave on the other side* IS THAT THE DUNGEON?! I hope so. Wait... *sees this blue creature thing* Woah. What is THAT? Is it a Moblin? No... it doesn't look like one...

*tries to run up and hit it... it pwns Link. With half a heart left, tries to run around it... and it throws a sword at me. Link dies*

Me: ...I was THAT. CLOSE. And I died.

SINCE WHEN DO MONSTERS HAVE SWORD BEAMS??????

DEATH FIVE

Me: You know, it's REALLY annoying how my sword is on the A button. I keep pressing B. The sword is on B in EVERY game except this one. Even in Minish Cap, where you could unequip the sword, I couldn't STAND having it on A...

Rowan: No one cares, Sierra. Now go up the stairs again and look out for that blue Centaur thingy. ...NO! DON'T START HITTING IT!!!

Me: Why not? *gets down to half a heart again* DANG! *runs past it and into cave* YEEESSSS! WE MADE IT!!! ...Wait, what is this?

*enters room with old man in center and a sword in front of him.*

Old Man: You can have this when you master it.

Me: *glares at Rowan*

Rowan: Hehe... um... I guess this isn't a dungeon after all...

Me: *face-palm*

DEATH SIX

Me: Since we really don't have any other ideas on where to go, let's get back past that area with the boulders and go by the Tektites again, and then try that little path that led away from it to the side, all right?

Rowan: Sure, go ahead.

*does so - finds an empty area with four pathways leading off*

Me: Uh... where should we go?

Rowan: Just let ME have it. *she takes the controller and goes up over and over*

Me: ...Nothing's happening... OOH!

*magic Zelda puzzle-solved theme!*

Rowan: HAH! IT'S A DUNGEON! YES! *goes inside, reads top*

Me: ...Level five? Well, that's wonderful, Rowan, but we kinda need to start at level ONE.

Rowan: Oh... oops...

Interlude - Rowan's file! XD

Me: *just coming out of shower* ...WAIT! Where the heck are you?

Rowan: SIERRA! GUESS. WHAT. I FOUND THE FIRST DUNGEON!!!

Me: ...REALLY? Hey! But I want to do it!

Rowan: I know. That's why I made my own file. It's called Pwnage. :D

Me: THIS IS MY GAME! WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO DO THIS? ...Oh, whatever. Give me a turn and-

*Rowan gets pwned by Wallmaster and taken back to start*

Rowan: NO!!!! I HAVE TO get back to that room now! PLEASE? Just a few more minutes?

Me: ...Fine.

*she gets back to room, and goes into next one by avoiding the Wallmasters*

Me: *looks up from reading fanfiction on DSi* ...IS THAT THE BOSS?

Rowan: Oh. Hey. I guess it is! Now, what do I do with this boss...?

Me: OH!!! I READ A FAN FICTION ABOUT THIS! (P.S. - It's called Voiceless if you wanted to look it up, lol. It's based on the first two games and it's pretty good. :D) The author said you can just stand in this one spot and shoot sword beams at the boss, and he can't hit you but you can hit him. It's supposed to be easy... except... your hearts aren't full. How can you get sword beams?

*she dies*

Me: HAH! MY TURN!

(And yet... she goes back for sword beams and pwns the boss.)

Rowan: TRIFORCE PIECE!!!! YAY!

Me: ...I hate you.

DEATH SEVEN

Me: Okay. BOSS TIME! Aquamentus... YEAH! ...That is the first boss's name, right?

Rowan: Don't ask me. You're the Zelda expert.

Me: Haha... right... *goes into boss room* ...Um, I just noticed something!

Rowan: What?

Me: ...I don't have sword beams.

Rowan: Then just go up and hit him with your sword or something...

*I try*

Me: ...IT'S NOT WORKING!!!! LOOK! *tries stabbing Aquamentus or whatever its name is with the sword - and NOTHING HAPPENS!* I'M STUCK IN HERE WITH AN INVINCIBLE BOSS! WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I DO? WHAT DO I- Oh, hey. Is that door open? *goes out the door I came IN through*

Rowan: LOL. What was the point of all that?

Me: Well, every OTHER Zelda game I played, the door LOCKS when you fight the boss! How was I supposed to know? *goes a few rooms back in the dungeon, and sees a door I did not enter* Hey, Rowan? What's in there?

Rowan: Oh, Idk... I didn't go in there. Can't be important if I already defeated the boss.

Me: Well, maybe I'll get some hearts for sword beams in there. *explores a bit, does a block puzzle, and then...*

Me: ROWAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FOUND THE BOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rowan: WHAT? ...Drat. Now I need to get that.

Me: OOH! I bet that's why you can't hit him with your sword! You're supposed to use this as a projectile! Hehe, I'm smart.

Rowan: Yeah, sure, whatever.

*I go to the equipment screen... except I can't figure out how to equip the bow*

Me: Um... HOW DO I GET TO THAT? LOOK! I'm pressing EVERY button! Z! X! Y! A! B! NOTHING WORKS! *switches to Wii controller, tries again* ...STILL NOT WORKING!

Rowan: Haha, well, I don't have the bow. Can't help you there!

(I'm running out of time, so I'll just summarize this next part. I failed epically, absolutely convinced there's something wrong with our game, even reading the instructions fifty times over... and then I realize maybe I can't use the bow because... I had no arrows?)

(Gods. Why is this so DIFFICULT for me?)

----

I'm going to stop it there. XD I went and beat the boss with sword beams, since I didn't have enough rupees to buy arrows. And now... I need the second dungeon, wherever it might be. As you can see, the majority of my deaths come from AFTER I beat the first dugeon, while I'm exploring the Leever and Zola infiltrated Hyrule. ...OMG. I want to kill all Zolas and Leevers in EXISTENCE! I HATE THEM! They're worse than the Wallmasters! Worse, I still haven't discovered a way to kill Zolas; I spent a full fifteen minutes shooting sword beams at one when it popped out of the water, and it wouldn't die. And the Leevers just seem to keep coming BACK.

...Well, whatever. Thanks for letting me write this super epic post! Good night, awesome readers!

Happy Birthday Legend of Zelda!

Hey, would you look at that? Two birthday posts in a row! Who knew Sydney's birthday was so near LoZ's? ;)

Yesterday - February 21st, 2011 - The Legend of Zelda had its 25th anniversary! EPIC! :D Isn't it weird how, here in the States, that was also President's Day? That's why when I saw it on Yahoo, I at first didn't believe it... but then I saw it on Zelda Wiki too, and two sources reporting that combined with the fact that I already knew LoZ would be turning 25 at some point this year made me believe it.

Lolz, what brought it to my attention was Yahoo, actually... When I went to check my e-mail yesterday, I went to the front page of the website as always. I occasionally look at the "Trending Now" box up there just to see if I recognize any of the stuff (usually I don't) and then I was like... "Whoa! Legend of Zelda is trending now! It's number six on the list!" So I clicked on it, and the first thing was a news post about its anniversary. Yep!

To celebrate its anniversary... well, I kinda want to post a chapter of my fanfic but I still hate the first chapter, lol. If I could skip that first chapter... then I'd be happy to post it! But otherwise... um, no. I just gotta figure out how to get Navi back into the story, since she's missing in Majora's Mask... and I want Link to have someone to talk to... either that, or I could just make Link silent like he is in the games, I guess. XD

SO, since I can't do that (technically I can, and if anyone comments and says they want to read it, I MIGHT... might... because I need feedback to make it better - I'm out of ideas) I decided on a better way.

Why not buy the game that started it all?

That's right: Legend of Zelda!

...Although my friend, Noob/Cloud/Deku thinks that would be Ocarina of Time. I was laughing so hard when he didn't know what the first Zelda game was. He listed off pretty much every game in the series - including Zelda II - and didn't get it... XD (Sorry, I shouldn't be making fun of him. He only has TP and ST.)

I keep getting off-topic. >.<

YES. I'm going to - or I WANT to - buy The Legend of Zelda. Idk if I can yet. If my sister doesn't stop playing Animal Crossing: City Folk, I can't get on the Wii Shop Channel to buy it. -.-

...Now that I think of it... can you only upload $10 or more at a time? That would be so stupid. LoZ is only $5. The rest of that money should go to Skyward Sword, not some other random game. I guess I'll buy AoL if I have to, but...

...Oh, another random fact about me? I've at least PLAYED every game in the series except Adventure of Link. XD I know virtually nothing about it beyond what I've seen on YouTube.

Well, that's it! 'Night people! :D

(Another random fact: OMG! I have no label for Legend of Zelda or Adventure of Link on this blog! There's every Zelda game except those two! That's sad. XD)

Happy Birthday Sydney!

Very suddenly... I feel extremely sick tonight. :( So this might not be as... random. On the other hand, I've said that before, and it ends up being as random as always, just because you don't require too much energy to type, no matter what it is. ;)

This post is about Sydney's birthday party! :D Idk when her real birthday is, but her PARTY was last Saturday and Sunday. It was SUPER fun - a sleepover, with a ton of girls I didn't know. Yeah, I know most people reading this are guys, and don't really care... but this does PARTIALLY relate to Zelda. For instance, we stayed up until 4:30 in the morning. This one other girl and I... we were kinda trying to sleep, but it was waaaaay too loud. The other girls were playing the board game Life, and UGH, they wouldn't stop talking! :P So we watched the movie Aladdin and the King of Thieves (we were GOING to watch Percy Jackson on that girl's iPod, but then it ran out of power and she didn't have a charger -.-) and then got bored. Finally, I BEGGED (literally) Sydney to let me play her Twilight Princess game. She has it, but she's still in the first dungeon. Luckily, she allowed me to make my own file on her Wii, and it pwns her. 7 hours and I'm in the Lakebed Temple. Hers is 14 hours and still in Forest Temple. :P

Anyway, my begging didn't succeed... at first. Sydney thinks Twilight Princess is a VERY scary game for some reason - which I can see at SOME parts, but she's in the first dungeon. Really? What's scary there - the monkey? Poor monkies...

However, finally, at 2 AM, SYDNEY LET ME PLAY IT!

...And the funny thing? She was worried about it being scary... and I JUST so happened to get to the scariest cutscene in the whole game that night. :P

It's the one after freeing Lanayru province from the Twilight, before you go into Lakebed Temple. The light spirit shows you... some really creepy cutscene. It involves Dark Interlopers and Ilias falling from the sky. XD But the girls at the sleepover TOTALLY ruined its scaryness. They kept asking me random questions: "Oookay. What's going on? This doesn't make sense! Why'd she attack him? Why'd he turn to dust? Why'd he kill himself? Who are those people? Why is this happening?" :P

Earlier in the night, we played mafia. OMG, that's the BEST game ever. :D HOWEVER... for some STUPID reason, MAFIAS HATE ME. If you don't know how to play the game, people are assigned roles - there's of course the mafias, who select one person to kill, a sheriff that seems to serve no purpose whatsoever, a nurse who can save the targeted person if they guess correctly who it is, a narrator that describes in a hilarious way how the person died or was saved (at least in the way we play it), and the normal townspeople that also serve no purpose. The mafia kill someone each turn while the others are "asleep" and then the next "day" the townspeople, sherrif, and nurse accuse to people of being the mafia and they have a trial together, and the person who loses the trial dies. The point is to kill the mafia before they kill all the townspeople. So me? I was targeted to die first every round of the game we played except one! WHAT THE HECK? I barely even knew those girls! Why were they killing me! :P

...Could have been because I said, "Okay, watch, I'm totally going to die this turn," and I kept interrupting Sydney when she tried to teach us how to play...

Fortunately, one round when I was targeted, I was the nurse. So I tried to save myself. XD And apparently I was right! I saved myself from "falling off the Grand Canyon" (so the narrator said) with my super epic ninja nurse powers! :D And then ANOTHER round I was the nurse AGAIN, and the very people I tried to save accused me of being the mafia! O: Then they killed me! WHEN I TRIED TO SAVE THEM! >.< One of them was Sydney, btw... she was SO sure I was the mafia, and she felt bad when she discovered I wasn't... :P

...Um...

Yep.

That's all I got.

My goshness, that was SO much longer than I expected it to be. I want to go on Wizard101 now, but I don't know if I have time. :(

In any case... good night!

I GUESS this is my TP post.

Really, though, I have a LOT better news than my Twilight Princess completion in three days thing. I barely remember it anymore. But just last night, I did something awesome:

I COMPLETED MINISH CAP!

Yaaaaayyyy! :D

But let's see here: I just have ONE story to tell about the TP run, okay? And also, a schedual that I came up with forever ago. It's mostly for MY future reference, since you people probably don't care about it (if you care about any of my stuff, lol - but I hope I'm somewhat entertaining, considering that I now have FIFTEEN FOLLOWERS! Thank you!).

So, here... I wrote this down based on the "Wii Play Data" that gives exact times on how long I spent on TP and OoT over the three days, as well as exact dates. Yeah.

It started on Wednesday, 12/22, playing OoT for 7 hours, 4 minutes.

Thursday, 12/23, played OoT for, *sigh*, 17 hours, 6 minutes. (DANG WATER TEMPLE!)

Friday, 12/24, played OoT for 5 hours, 47 minutes. Completed it. Yayz!

Saturday, 12/25 - BREAK DAY! I didn't do anything on my Wii that day! lol.

Sunday, 12/26, played TP for 2 hours, 17 minutes. (and My Pokemon Ranch for one minute :P)

Monday, 12/27, played TP for 6 hours and 32 minutes. But the total Wii play time is 7 hours and 1 minute, because I was watching Nintendo Channel for a while. You know that Majora's Mask isn't on there, but LoZ, AoL, OoT, TP, ST, and PH are? What happened to MM?! O:

Tuesday, 12/28. Oh, geez... *gets out calculator* Okay, so if I subtract the 27 min. of OoT and the 25 min. of MM, then add up the, like, ten times I turned on and off the Wii for TP, I get... 4 hours, 48 minutes? Maybe? >.<

Wednesday, 12/29, played TP for 3 hours, 13 minutes. KIND OF completed TP... read below for more info. XD

Thursday, 12/30. All around Wii day. Played TP for some time over an hour (not checking again), then Sydney came over. She brought Dragon Quest Swords, then we played Brawl, then Nintendo Channel... yeah. Uh-huh. Why did I even post this part? O_o Probably just to prove I don't play ONLY Zelda games. XD

---

...So I said I "kind of" completed TP. Here's that story.

I finally reached Zant! Yay! Second-to-last boss in the game! Sweetness! However, I didn't save AFTER completing Zant. I do that on most of my Twilight Princess files, since I love him so much... as a boss! I mean, as a boss. Yes. XD So I was considering making this file the one-before-Zant file and finally saving on my first one after it beats Zant. The reason is that my first file has all the Heart Containers - except one. That one is what you get from defeating Zant. >.< Um... so I didn't save. That's all you really needed to know.

After Zant, I hurried back to Hyrule Castle. Just for the record, I skipped every cutscene I possibly could in the game. Yep. That means I literally had no storyline. If I'd been playing this for the first time... I would know NOTHING. I skipped the intro scene. I skipped children getting kidnapped. I skipped turning into a wolf. I skipped meeting Midna, meeting Zelda, saving the light spirits, fighting King Bulbin, saving Colin, creepy cutscene (really, the one after you save Lanayru is scary), finding Ilia, meeting Zant, Midna almost dying and Zelda saving her, meeting the sages, Blizzetta screaming "NOT TAKE MIRROR!" (which is sad, 'cuz I like that part), pwning Zant, meeting Ganondorf, pwning Ganondorf. Yep. :)

The oddest cutscenes I discovered I couldn't skip? ...Well, I only remember two, although there were a TON. But the strangest one was that you can't skip where Ilia gets her memory back. So I had to waste a full minute of my life just watching Ilia and Link stare at each other with stupid smiles on their faces and Epona neighing in the background. Seriously? O_o The second was the Master Sword cutscene. Yeah, that's why it's not listed above. I. COULDN'T. SKIP. IT. ...I can't believe I tried, either. XD So, they'll let you skip Zelda, but not the sword. Weird.

...I was talking about Zant, right?

I went in to Hyrule Castle. Gosh, I know that dungeon SO well. For instance, there's one part where you're supposed to turn into a wolf and use your senses to view these ghost guys that point in the direction to go across a path of blocks. If you run on the wrong block, it will fall. But I've done this so many times, I don't need to turn into a wolf. I just run on through on the exact path. As long as those invisible rats don't get me...

Then it's GANONDORF! O: I skipped everything before him, of course. XD Ganon's Puppet was easy (and fun! I had an obsession with the TP ending for a while, since I love it so much, and that's why I know Hyrule Castle so well), then on to Beast Ganon, then the horse-battle phase, and, finally, sword combat with the evil king!

That's where everything went wrong.

It's the final phase of Ganondorf. I was super excited, especially since it was so late - ten or something at night. Eventually, Link and Ganondorf lock swords, just like they're supposed to. Since I'd hit him a LOT (I have a pretty good strategy - if you're standing too close to him, he can't really hit you! :P) I figured this would be my last time pushing him to the ground. So I shifted the position of my fingers so I could use another finger besides my slow thumb to press the A button, which pushes him back. Then... I pressed a button...

...but it wasn't the A button... it was the POWER button on the controller...

So the Wii turned off.

And there you have it, folks! That's why I technically never completed TP in three... or four... days. Strangely, this didn't make me angry, like not saving normally does - no, I was struggling not to laugh at, like, 10 at night when everyone else was asleep in my house. But I found it so funny. So it's all right. You can laugh at my expense, at my epic fail. Go ahead.

NOW... MINISH CAP! I completed it last night, in some pizza restaurant. Really. It was good! ...The pizza, I mean. It was some kind of garlic chicken thing. XD No, but the ending of MC was good, too. But it caused the OoT ending song to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day - they play a section of it (at least, I'm pretty sure that's what that song was). I had headphones on, in case you were wondering how I could hear the music in a crowded restaurant. I'll have to go into detail later since, remember... this is my TP post! Plus, some fan fics just got updated... one of them is the last chapter... O:

Okay. Hope this entertains my wonderfulistical 15 followers. :)

...Ooh! A new word! DON'T STEAL!

Ocarina of Time - Majora's Mask style!

I FINISHED OCARINA OF TIME AND TWILIGHT PRINCESS IN THREE DAYS!!!

No, not BOTH of them. I mean, each of them. Like, Ocarina of Time took three days, then Twilight Princess took three... well, actually, it was technically FOUR, but the first one didn't really count. We had relatives over when I was trying to do TP, so I couldn't focus on it completely.

I've been contemplating and forming this post in my head ever since I beat them both. I actually tried to post something on here about the Ocarina of Time three-day run while I was on the second day of it, in the Water Temple. That temple was just frustrating me so dang much, I took a break (actually, a LOT of breaks - I'll explain later in this post), and grabbed my DS. At first it was fan fiction catching-up that I did... but eventually I ran out of new chapters to read. So THEN I went on blogger on my DSi... and... of COURSE...

It deleted the post after I finished writing it.

*sigh* When will I learn my lesson?

Anyway, SINCE I've been thinking about this for FOREVER, it will probably be LONG. Just thought I'd warn ya. ;)

So. As I discovered after writing this entire thing, it's LONGER than long. It's GINORMOUS. So Twilight Princess will be on a separate post, 'kay? I ALSO added little dashes in between each dungeon so it's not one big, long wall of text. Now, here's my three-day run of Ocarina of Time!

----------------

I hadn't played that game in a long while - I could barely remember most of the cutscenes and so on. I don't know exactly WHY I did it - probably just out of boredom? But one morning during the Winter Break, I decided to delete my third Ocarina of Time file and start a new one. It was a difficult decision - I had all four bottles on that file! And finding those stupid Big Poes for the last bottle is HARD! ...But I did it anyway.

So, I started the game. The first dungeon, Inside the Great Deku Tree, went well... except all my nightmares of Navi started coming back. I really gotta play OoT more often. I'd forgotten how annoying that stupid fairy is. Like, when I was in that dungeon? At one point, there's this spiderweb thingy that you have to jump down on top of to break it, but when I did, it didn't break. Navi says "HEY!" when you approach the thing, so when I landed it, it bounced up and down. So every time it bounced, Navi would scream "HEY!" It ended up something like "Heyheyheyheyheyheyheyheyhey!!!" before the thing stopped bouncing...

However, this is where the really epic part comes in - after defeating Ghoma, the first boss, I didn't get the Heart Container! O: So, yeah! I completed this game in three days with three hearts and dying only three times! XD

---

Then it was to Hyrule Castle! Zelda was fun to mess with. I probably wasted the most time there. After all, it wasn't me trying to hurry through the game until I got through five dungeons in one day, impressing myself. Anyway, she doesn't even turn to look at you when you come in. Like, if Link was an assassin or something, she would be dead. XD I tried slashing at her a few times, lol. Then I shot my slingshot and the windows. One gives you a lecture and a lit bomb. The other (with Mario characters in it) gives you rupees. I think I like rupees better. My sister got annoyed by all this time I was wasting, since she was watching me and all. I talked to her at my sister's urging... but I managed to annoy her more by selecting "no" to everything Zelda said, making her repeat the same thing over and over until you choose "yes."

---

After that - second dungeon. Dodongo's Cavern. Um, Taryn watched me for part of this... but besides that, I can't remember much of it. It wasn't very exciting.

---

Third dungeon - Inside Lord Jabu-Jabu! Ummm... wasn't much in here to talk about, either. Oh, well, there was ONE thing, lol. The boss. Um, after I defeated it, I was standing a liiitttllle too close to it... so when the Heart Container appeared, it appeared ON TOP OF me! So I got it. And then I had four hearts, not three... >.<

So I turned off the game and started over. I WANTED THREE HEARTS. I wouldn't even let myself get a Heart Piece - when I did, I'd also turn it off. :P

---

After that it was... MASTER SWORD TIME! (Da-na-na-naaah!) But fiiiiirrsst... I had to do a few things as a little kid. After all, I wouldn't be able to go back until I beat Forest Temple. So, first I went and got all the bottles I could. I'd forgotten the one in Lon Lon Ranch... so I found that. And then I got Anju's Cucco's or whatever, and that ALSO gets you a bottle. Yay! Three bottles! Perfect for fairies, which are totally useful when you only have three hearts. :D

Then I wasted MORE time by going to the Happy Mask Shop. I sold the Keaton Mask. Then I got the Skull Mask, but... the Skull Kid won't talk to you to buy it unless you play Saria's Song. And I can't do THAT! That gets me a HEART PIECE!

...So that didn't work out either.

Then I watched the cutscene-type-thing where that guard is dying! I'd heard of it before, but every time I played this game, I always forget to see it! You go into the back alleys in Castle Town RIGHT before getting the Master Sword, and you'll see a guard there. Yeah. Did that...

THEN it was Master Sword time.

And the VERY first thing I did when I turned older? Did that glitch at the Temple of Time altar that temporarily ditches Navi. :P You can't do it when you're little.

---

Next dungeon - Forest Temple! You know that the Poes are named after the girls in the book Little Women? I actually OWN that book... like, permanently... but I've never read it. O_o I got lost in the Forest Temple for a while - I've always had a weakness for that place!

---

Then on to Fire Temple. This went by pretty quickly. Well, it DID, until I fell down to the first floor while trying to get the Megaton Hammer from a timed-treasure chest. IT FRUSTRATED ME! I wanted to throw something! XD

---

And that was the end of the first day! As for the second day? That's where it gets interesting. According to my Wii, I spent... about...

17 hours on it?

And you want to know why? The most annoying Zelda dungeon in HISTORY.

WATER TEMPLE!!!!

---

In reality, however, it wasn't totally 17 hours. I left the Wii running for a while, because I was so annoyed by it, while the game was paused. Second time I replayed this game, I actually thought the Water Temple wasn't too bad! And first time - I think I used a walkthrough or something. Idk. Why was it so hard THIS TIME? WHHHY?!

...Well, I KNOW why. Because I lost a stupid key. I needed one to get into the room before Dark Link - yeah, I even KNEW what room it was! - but I couldn't find the key. It took me FOREVER and a LOT a wandering to get it. And a lot of Farore's Wind usage.

This was actually the point that I wrote my post that got deleted on my DSi at. When I lost the key and couldn't find the stupid thing. I was musing on that post about Dark Link - I remembered hearing somewhere that his life depending on how many hearts you had? I have only three hearts, so...

He was REALLY easy. Comically easy. XD Even easier than the second time I played this game, and I thought he was easy then.

Well, first off, he WOULDN'T SHOW UP! I didn't know what to do in the room! It's all empty and whatever except the water and tree in the middle, right? So you're supposed to go to the other side of the room, turn around, and he's standing by the tree.

SO WHERE WAS HE WHEN I DID THAT?

I walked the length of that room like ten times before Dark Link showed up! Srsly! >.<

But from then on, it was Din's Fire, he disappears. Din's Fire, disapppear. Din's Fire, disappear. And he dies. :D Just three times. Thank you, few Heart Containers of mine.

After Dark Link, the Water Temple wasn't as bad anymore. Aside from the putting on and taking off Iron Boots that EVERYONE hates.

---

THEN it was Shadow Temple. Possibly my favorite Zelda dungeon. ...Or it WAS, until I got stuck in it, and my sister started pointing out how scary it was.

IF OoT HAD TP GRAPHICS, IT WOULD BE RATED T. And it would deserve it more than TP. IT'S SCARY! The walls in parts of the Shadow Temple are made of BONES!! Eeeek! And there's blood on the walls! And that Dead Hand... OMG... I NEVER want to see another one again...

And ReDeads...

Oh dear god, goddess, or whatever deity is up there... I hate them...

*shudder*

The only Zelda enemy to give me nightmares. And they were Wind Waker ReDeads. WIND WAKER!!!! That game that everyone thinks isn't mature enough!

Yeeahh... well... back to Shadow Temple. I got lost in the Bottom of the Well, that mini-dungeon you do when you're younger to get the Lens of Truth. The funny part? Well... I didn't know where to go, right? So I found this one room where there were holes in the ground you couldn't see. You'd need the Lens of Truth to see them. However, I didn't have that yet. I figured that by getting through the room, I'd GET the Lens of Truth. So I kept falling. And falling. And again. Again. Every time into a room with creepy green... something that I don't even WANT to know what it was... and a ReDead.

I HATE REDEADS! THEY DON'T EVEN BLOW UP! I threw, like, twenty bombs at him! And this creepy green blood come out, but he's not hurt. Nooooo. ReDeads are too GOOD to get hurt when blood squirts out.

...Like I said. Should be rated T.

Oh, and that room with the invisible holes? I got through it - WITHOUT the Lens of Truth. I used Bombchus to see if they would fall or not, and when I ran out, my Boomerang. Best I could think of. And when I finally get through it? There's no Lens of Truth. Nooo - that room was supposed to be done AFTER getting the Lens of Truth. Instead, I get... a Skulltula token.

WHAT THE HECK? I DON'T NEED SKULLTULAS! I ALREADY HAD THE GIANT'S WALLET! I don't even KNOW what you get after that... I never bothered trying to get anymore than what I needed for it.

*ahem* So. Enough of that. Shadow Temple went by pretty quickly - I DO love the eerie feeling of it. Just not the ReDeads. Or the Dead Hand. Or the blood. Or the skulls. Or the music. Or the Floormasters and Wallmasters (luckily, no wallmasters got me, but I think a Floormaster killed me once...). Yep. Besides that, though, it's awesome.

---

...That was the end of day two. Uh-huh. Finished five dungeons in, what, seven hours? And two... in sevenTEEN.

On to day three... and the Spirit Temple!

---

I think I spent too long in the Gerudo Fortress. I was having too much fun in there. OOH! And I learned where the colors of the Gerudo came from in the fan fiction, The Return! I thought the author made it up! ...Yeah. :P Didn't help, though, when I found the second-to-last captenter dude and saved him, and then accidentally got a Heart Piece. I turned it off and hadn't saved since saving the first dude. Had to find those two again.

So, Spirit Temple... did it as a little kid... umm... the conversation with Nabooru was pretty fun. Just because it gives you options as answers. I found it funny when she asks if you're one of Ganondorf's followers. The only thing is when you say, "What if I am?" (which I always do - I'm just that kind of person XD) she says something like, "No, you're too young to be one of his followers. Just kidding!"

Ugh. Why did she even ASK me in the first place, then? Hmph.

Then I went to fight an Iron Knuckle mini-boss. And guess what?

They hit exactly three hearts out of you if their sword connects...

And I only had three hearts...

EEK! IT KILLED ME IN ONE HIT!

Thank the Goddesses for fairies. :D And Young Link's tiny size! I ducked under it by holding the shield button and just started slamming B! Its sword swept right over my head because it was two stupid to try a vertical slice. So I killed it pretty quickly. :P And finally, I headed back to the Temple of Time for the Master Sword so I could complete the REST of the Spirit Temple. And another Iron Knuckle. It killed me three times, so that, with all four bottles, I only had one fairy left. And the boss fight? It's an Iron Knuckle too, or at least part of it is. And that killed me the first time, even with four fairies. >.< I tried again, but this time with my sister's BRILLIANT plan - USE NAYRU'S LOVE! That way, it won't kill me in one hit! :D

After that?

---

FINAL BOSS TIME!!!! YAAAAYYY!!!

I didn't like the cutscenes though. I wanted to hurry and complete it before the day was over. It was already really, really late at night... so I was going as fast as I could so I could say I completed it in three days. I dispelled the barrier things, and hurried through Ganondorf's Tower (and fought a few more Iron Knuckles), and theeeeennnn...

BOSS! Ganon! Yay! Almost dying... but then, I won! And I didn't die! WOOOOOOOT!

And that's my Ocarina of Time in three days over Winter Break story!

---

As I said, this wasn't a speed run, and I guarantee I could complete it in ONE day if I tried. I did a lot of unnecessary sidequests - part of the Happy Mask Shop, getting ALL FOUR BOTTLES, getting Biggoron Sword (that one took FOREVER), and all the Fairy Fountains. So I could have been quicker. :P

But that was pretty good, right? ;)

And in case you didn't get the post title, it was three days, so it was the same time as Majora's Mask... yeah... XD

Um, like I mentioned at the top, I really don't have room to describe Twilight Princess. This will be one heck of a long post if I did that. I'll put it in a SEPARATE POST! And since I have nothing better to do right now, I might as well start writing it...

So... yep! That's the new longest post ever on Medli's Messages. And boy, was it fun to write. Even if no one reads it. :) It's the result of boredom on a day off - I was sick at home today. Uh-huh.

Now... I gotta close this up...

GOOD NIGHT! :)

Happy New Year

Remember my "longest post ever"? The Fallen Sage screenshot post? Uh-huh?

...This post will be nothing like it. XD

First of all, this is on my DSi, and this blog has had baaaaaad experiences with it. :P Second, this won't be a 2010 post for me in seven minutes! O: YEAH! Here it's 11:53! So, uh, ummmm....

Happy new year! We're ever so slightly closer to Skyward Sword now! Yay! XD

MC Update - Gods. I fail at observation/map reading/solving puzzles. To an extent.

First off, Roy is a total, complete, OVERPOWERED CHARACTER IN SUPER SMASH BROS. MELEE!!!! Plus, the game FAVORS HIM! I SWEAR! I would have won every round against my sister if it weren't for LUCK. When we turned off items, I continuously pwned her as Young Link... but WITH items... I failed. Epicly.

*sigh* Oh, and all our pictures on that game are corrupted. ...At least the whole game data isn't. :D And another Wind Waker file was lost. This one was in Tower of the Gods. And I had been working on it too. :( Now the only one left on that memory card is Noob's. ...It's named Linky and in the Forsaken Fortress. XD

So now it's like I haven't even completed one DUNGEON on Wind Waker. >.<

........

Anyway.... Sorry. That was my Super Smash Bros. Melee rant from earlier tonight, because Rowan kept pwning all the Zelda characters as Roy. It was frustrating me. At least I got my revenge when items were taken out of the equation.

On to the update now? XD

So. Minish Cap. Yeah. Where to begin? Well, probably wherever my last update left off, but I don't even remember where that is.

...
...
...

*looks up* XD

Oh! Power Bracelets! Riiiight.

Anyway, I DID end up asking Sydney, lolz. She's BETTER than a walkthrough, because she can just give me a HINT rather than complete answers. Apparently, there's ANOTHER entrance into Lake Hylia! O: So she led me to that (it was through Lon Lon Ranch) and I took it from there. After that... I met Librari. Who I decided I hated. That tends to happen with me - I meet a video game character and immediately decide whether they are under the title of "HATE," "LIKE," "ANNOYING," or "EPIC." Link is in two categories - like and epic. Zelda too. XD Oh, and Ashei from Twilight Princess. She's just awesome. And maybe Midna, too. MAYBE. But most of my partners are under the "hate" or "annoying" category, simply because you're around them so much that they get frustrating and tiring. Except Navi. She's sooooooo annoying within the first five minutes of the game that she's in a category all her own, BELOW hate. :P Did I ever mention how she told me to go to the Bottom of the Well when I was IN the dang Well? Yeah...

I get off topic too easily. Sheesh. Back to the main post... what was it? Librari. Well, he's "HATE" because he dumped me in a dungeon without letting me prepare! >.< I got flippers at the end though. Yayz.

Okay, okay, then I swam to dropletts temple. Within the first, like, five rooms, however... I found the boss key. And I knew EXACTLY where the boss room was.

So I was freaking out at this point, thinking I'd either cheated the game, done something wrong, or that there would be an extremely unexpected twist coming up. You do NOT have a Zelda dungeon that's five rooms long.

As it turns out, it wasn't any of the above. Not cheating, nothing wrong, and nothing sufficiently unexpected. Just that the second half of the dungeon was behind the boss room doors. :P

I fought the boss: a giant Octorok. It took me FOREVER to figure how to kill him... I thought you'd have to get behind him to whack him or something, but apparently you're supposed to hit the rocks back at him with your sword...

SO.

After that, I got the THIRD ELEMENT!!!! It was the WATER ELEMENT! :D So exciting.

Then I had to sneak into the castle to infuse the sword with the new element for my third clone. :P But, geez, those guards... their voices, when they screamed "HEY!" just scared me for some reason. Could be because I was alone at night with everyone else in the house asleep, just sitting on my bed playing the game with headphones on... XD

Then I went to find a king dude in a graveyard! It was fun!

Then I received a GOLDEN KINSTONE! O: He told me to take it to "source of all flow."

Now... here's when my epic fail comes in. Summarizing it, btw, because I gtg...

I was REALLY smart, and thought "source of all flow... WATERFALL!" I felt so proud of myself for figuring that out.

I went there, to Veil Falls... but had no clue what to do.

So I decided "Maybe I'm wrong..." So I randomly picked up the Minish Cap manga and read it. Guess what? At the part with the king, he oh-so-bluntly states, "Take this kinstone to Veil Falls."

I'm in Veil Falls.

*more convinced that I'm right...*

THEN I went to the smith dude's house. He tells me to go to Veil Falls, TOO!!!!

*TOTALLY convinced I'm right...*

...But no idea what to do.

I happened to go to Sydney's house, so I dejectedly and reluctantly asked her where to take the kinstone.

She tells me Veil Falls.

Okay, I was SOOOOOOOO RIGHT.

I ask her what to do there.

...She doesn't remember... >.<

FORTUNATELY, her BROTHER, Hunter, remembered! :D ...He showed me a DIFFERENT route into the waterfall that I COMPLETELY missed.

Thus the reason I can't read maps/observe things. To an extent. Because I totally PWNED THAT SOURCE OF FLOW THING! XD

That's all for tonight. I found the wall thingy I'm supposed to fuse the golden kinstone with, so I guess I'm on my way to the wind tribe and the final element. And my eleventh (or tenth... I forget) Zelda game completion. ;)

So goodnight. Again.

*STILL LOOKING FOR FANFIC IDEAS* :P

WHY THE *censored* DOES MY DANG WII HATE MEEEEEE?!?

This is officially. The. Worst. Curse. Ever.

I freaking hate my Wii.

...Nooo... well, I KIND OF do. There have been other instances it let me down (the whole falling-over-and-resetting event with Majora's Mask comes to mind). But more than the Wii, it's the memory card. And I guess it wouldn't even be our Wii... it would be our GAME CUBE.

Remember the Evil Memory Card curse? It returned... hungry for revenge...

It already took away Young Link on Melee. It took NightRings and JewelCat from Pokemon Collosseum. It took my epic Animal Crossing town. It took a cutscene file from Wind Waker. Heck, for good measure, it even took stupid Billy Hatcher files away.

THEN the WII was being stupid. It stole my Twilight Princess file just as I reached the final boss. It made me redo the MM Zora cutscene a thousand times.

But THIS... this is...

FIVE YEARS OF WORK. GONE.

My first ever Zelda game file - Wind Waker - was CORRUPTED! And you know what? Since my cutscene file was deleted, I have no other files that have beat the game and started over!

...Except one...

BUT I'M TOO FREAKING MAD ABOUT THIS TO CARE. Besides, TECHNICALLY it's my sister's. I mean, it's HER first one. She didn't mind if I deleted it, though.

But... but.. but... I'm so angry I don't even know what to scream about anymore. Or type in capital letters. Whatever.

Hey, you know what's funny? I feared something like this would happen. Quote from my previous post about corrupted Wind Waker file:

...Fortunately, it wasn't my very first file, my BEST file... the one I've had for five years. Oh my gosh, if I lost that... I don't know WHAT I would do. Probably burst into tears or start screaming and running around wildly. Something like that. XD

...And now it's happened. Hmm. No screaming. No running. There was almost-crying, and screaming at my sister in anger, but nothing more.

I think I'm getting used to replaying through accidentally-deleted Zelda stuff.

On the other hand, I still haven't deleted this one. I'm hoping, by some miracle, it will come back like Melee sometimes does. ...Oh, and I wonder what our other games are like? I was wondering if any others got further corrupted? I was worried about FSA doing that - I've only beat the game once, so it would be BAD to lose that file - but it was fine. Still...

*sigh*

...Ummmmmm... yeah. Huh. All my recent post titles are all in caps or partially all in caps.

I have nothing more to say. Aside from updates. Like MC and my epiclatastical Zelda-boss-marathon-type-thingy. Uh-huh. Btw, anyone has an ideas for my Zelda fan-fic, please give me something. I need inspiration. Last night I got VERY good inspiration (it has to do with Skyward Sword XD) but... still.

READ THIS EPIC ZELDA NEWS!!!! (epic for me, at least)

http://www.zeldadungeon.net/2010/10/links-awakening-confirmed-for-the-3ds-virtual-console/

Go to that link. Now.

Did you read it?

No?

WELL DO IT. It's better to get information from the source rather than me (I can exaggerate sometimes XD).

NOW did you read it?

Good. :P So... now you know: THEY'RE MAKING A LINK'S AWAKENING DX 3DS!!!!! :D Well, NOW you should know why I'm so excited. ...Maybe. If you know me well enough, lol. Let's list Zelda games I don't have, and maybe you'll see why:

Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link
LINK'S AWAKENING
Oracle of Seasons
Oracle of Ages

Yeah. Look at the one in capital letters. :D

SO I'LL ADD ONE MORE ZELDA GAME TO MY COLLECTION!!!!! That means, as soon as I find the money to buy LoZ and AoL... and pay off the rest of Skyward Sword... I'll have EVERY ZELDA GAME ALMOST! Emphasis on the almost. *sigh* Darn Oracle games. O_o

Ummm... I guess there IS a problem. How the HECK am I going to get the money for a 3DS when I barely have enough money for SS, LoZ, AoL, a GameBoy (guess I don't need it AS much, anymore, but I can't keep Sydney's DS Lite for Minish Cap forever, and I DO need Oracle games), and whatever OTHER games I want for 3DS (such as OoT3DS and Kid Icarus: Uprising)? DOOMED. Unless I trade in my DSi. Sad thing is... I really, REALLY don't want to. I'd lose flipnotes, and my favorites list of fanfictions (lol), and internet settings, and pictures, and a lot of other things. Oh, AND the stickers on my DS. It one of those skin thingies that cover the front of the DS and the inside. They have TP Link on them. :P I bought them on Amazon with my own money, so I don't really want to get rid of them. Honestly, when I play my friend's DS's now, I think, "They look so weird without anything covering the DS!" O_o

Anyway, the point is that it's a lot harder to trade in a DSi than the DS Lite I originally had.

Soooo... Christmas list, anyone? :P But last year I asked for lots of things, and I got nothing on my list. NOTHING. ...Oh, and it was funny looking at my 2008 Christmas list (yeah, I still keep them - I type them up on the computer, after all, so the file's still there). Ocarina of Time was on there. XD Well, I guess that means I haven't had OoT for two years yet... one, but not two.

And did you know Spirit Tracks will have its first birthday in five days? Yep. I still remember the date it came out: December 7th!!! I'll probably remember Skyward Sword's release date forever, too, rofl. I guess Minish Cap manga came out today, too. :D

...GODDESSES! THE OFF-TOPICNESS!!! >.<

And yes, I just said goddesses. You can blame reading/writing Zelda fanfics. Expect me to use that often from now on. :P

Anyway, I can't wait for 3DS now. ...Unless waiting somehow miraculously gives me enough money. I will NEVER have enough money for a 3DS, most likely, but you never know. I can't wait as long as I need to for money. I want to get it the DAY IT COMES OUT. ...If it's not that, then I'll be very, very upset. XD

Anyway, I'm out. I had another post in mind - about an addiction to Twilight Princess that I still kind of have - but whatever. I want it tonight... but I made a vow to myself that I wouldn't write more than one post in a day because the first one always gets overshadowed by the second. ...I know I've broken that vow a LOT, but whatever.

'Night people!

MC Update - I got Power Bracelets - ON MY OWN! So proud... :D

I can't make this post very long. Celestia awaits, after all. ;) Not to mention a fanfic I've been following recently got updated (I have to make another list of epic stories, since I've added more to my favorites since then. XD). But, bascically, here's a short summary of what I've done on Minish Cap since my last update...

Well, guess what? I found Power Bracelets (or whatever those things that make you stronger are)! AND WITHOUT A WALKTHROUGH/FRIEND! I mean, since I got Minish Cap, every time I got stuck I'd ask Sydney... so far, I haven't resorted to a walkthrough - at least, I don't THINK I did (can't really remember O_o). I know, know, know, KNOW that I got THIS overdue library book all on my own, though, this time! :D

I was stuck for a while, so I wasn't playing, but then I put out the fire in the fire place and went up the chimney as a Minish! :D Then I snuck past some kitties... and killed some enemies... and... yeah! Second overdue library book returned!

Now I'm trying to get the THIRD - and hopefully LAST - overdue library book. For what purpose, I'm still trying to figure out... Sydney just told me to. And, well, she's the MC expert! So I'll listen. -.-

It looks impossible, however. I mean, it's apparently in the mayor's private lake-side house place... but I can't get to it! I see SIGNS telling me it's there... but there's this LAKE in front of it! I can't swim without flippers! So where do I get FLIPPERS?!?

*sigh* Well, now that I know I can do this game on my own, I'm soooo not asking Sydney... well, maybe for a hint. But NOOOO WALKTHROUGHS. Absolutely NONE. ;)

Goodnight, people!

Authoring and Dragon Questing. Both are indirectly Zelda related.

Celestia is awesome.

Why did I just type that on my Zelda blog? Because it is. And ALSO because it's causing me to revert back to the days when I would spend hours on my computer - and NOT on my Zelda games.

I mean... I just missed playing as Sierra WinterBreeze SO much. I'm writing a fanfic about it, you know - it's difficult to write about something you haven't played in FOREVER. That's why I started writing the Zelda story, which, in case anyone cares, is actually coming along pretty well. ...Okay, it's STILL plot-less, lol, and I'm only halfway through chapter two... but guess what? I'M WRITING AN OUTLINE! Yeah, totally uncharacteristic for me! But it will help, probably - I'll know what's happening in later chapters, so I can add foreshadowing! I wish I'd had that for TToSW... I could have removed some embarassing parts that I now regret writing, because I really don't know how to explain them now (like the black fire? Yeah. Now I have to come up with a reason for it). So, the Zelda story... um... so far, it's about the Sages getting kidnapped by... somebody. Still don't know who. PLOT-LESS, remember? And the outline is only two chapters ahead, on chapter 4. And meanwhile, the seal on Ganondorf is weakening 'cuz Link was stupid and just HAD to go to Termina. Long story. Read it later. XD

...Uh... okay. I should have just made the post about that, but I already typed the title up there about my lack of updates, so I guess I should move on to that.

Let's see here... Celestia... Oh! Yeah. So, I FINALLY got to try out Celestia last night, and I had more fun than I even expected myself to. So I think instead of trying to get overdue library books from people on Minish Cap, I'll go and save an underwater world with my personal favorite heroine in ANY story I've wrote! (although very few stories that I've wrote are long enough for me to take a liking to the characters - like, there's Lunalynne... May... Allianna... Leanna... Mia... Krystal... Kithia... Kaylia... and none of their stories ever made it past chapter 5. And my chapters for other stories are pretty short - I usually attempt to make them ten pages, which honestly isn't long if you've seen the size of my notebooks. So, congrats, you now have a list of my OC female characters.)

Wow. I seem very determined to make this post about writing. Should I just change the title...?

No. No, I'm too lazy to click up there.

Okay. What have I done on Zelda games since the last post... hmm...

OOH! OOH! ...Okay, this strays from the point again, but I just remembered something I've been dying to make a post of! Dragon Quest IX!!! Look, there are few video games that I buy anymore that aren't Zelda related (because I seem to be lacking funds to buy anything else that I may not even like in the first place). However, Sydney got DQ IX a while ago, and then Tnaz bought it, and then ROWAN bought it... on my birthday, btw, which is SO unfair since she wouldn't let me play it... and so I just felt SO left out. They kept playing it at the Pokemon league, while I was sitting there dejectedly playing Minish Cap. And it prevented Sydney from helping me, too (you know she's the Minish Cap expert, right? Definitely. Besides the final boss, she went through that whole game on her own, and BEFORE me, too. I was so proud of her, since she's not really into LoZ as much as I am). Sooo... FINALLY I went ahead and bought it. I mentioned this briefly in a previous post... and I also told you what I named my character, right?

Zelda.

...What? It's a pretty name! I love names that begin with z's! Besides, she looks NOTHING like Princess Zelda. Well, I TRIED to make her look like her, but I gave up at the clothes part. My minstrel stuffs I have right now are so epic - my stats would lower sufficiently if I took them off. Oh, and guess what my warrior's name is?

...Link.

Okay, no excuse there. I really was trying to make a Link. XD But it didn't work out AT ALL - I found green clothes for him, but then his stats got bad. The first time he died I got so mad I finally changed them out to a bluish-grey armor called Bronze armor. And now I think he's wearing red. Luckily, they actually kind of work for him - it's literally called "Magic Armour" and it looks a LOT like Twilight Princess Magic Armor. So yay. ...Kind of. There's still the hat problem I had, and since he really looks NOTHING like Link without a hat (there weren't many hairstyles to choose from!), he still has the leather hat from the beginning of the game. Whatever. It works.

My other two characters are Leanna and Kaylia. If you don't recognize those names, refer back to my female OC list. ;) Leanna is a priest, and Kaylia is a martial artist. Leanna is SO useless though - she's supposed to be the healer, BUT SHE KEEPS DYING! Oh, and then I try to use Zing to bring her back to life - but since it sometimes fails, it just keeps saying, "Leanna remains lifeless. Leanna remains lifeless. Leanna remains lifeless."

By that point, I wanted to bring her back to life again just so I could kill her.

So I, as Zelda, am a level 31 minstrel. As soon as I unlock Sage class, I'm SO switching to that. Zelda fans should know why. As well as Dragon Quest fans, since Sage is an epic vocation. Then there's Link, my awesome warrior, level 19 - big difference between me and him, I know. It's 'cuz my sis helped me level up, and she's OVER 99 in ranger. And I couldn't take buddies with me, 'cuz apparently Link's not Celestrian (and it's one super duper hilarious coincidence that the game has Celestria in it - just one letter away from the new W101 world). Lol, speaking of which, I worked to unlock the Gladiator class, and it was so fun doing that. I just took Link with me, and had him use Whipping Boy to protect me - that's what the quest says to do. So it just kept saying, "Link is protecting Zelda!" That made me laugh. XD Oh, and I'm almost considering changing Link's vocation to gladiator... but that doesn't sound like him. Rowan insists that they're incredible and more powerful than warriors... but the warrior-specific skill classification is Courage! THAT'S SO LINK! O_o Okay, back to my party of characters... After Link is Kaylia, the martial artist at level 18, and then Leanna level 17 priest. And a USELESS level 17 priest, too.

OMG. This post is too long. Why am I writing such long posts now? No one reads them anyway! >.< I think this is just sort of the place I can rant about video games and describe my experiences. It's an author thing, I'm guessing. ;)

So... *sigh* I never did talk about REAL Zelda games. Man. ...Okay, I'm changing the post title now. Like I mentioned earlier, it was original something along the lines of "I DON'T HAVE ANY UPDATES" but now it's going to be... well... you can see now.

Enjoy your weekend. As for me... CELESTIA, HERE I COME!

TP Update - Thank you, fortune teller! ...Kinda.

I hate the Fortune Teller in Twilight Princess. But at the same time... she's SO awesome.

...

*sigh* Why do I always write confusing first paragraphs? O_o

Nvm. Onto my original point. Basically... it's official. I have THREE Zelda games with full heart containers. :D Spirit Tracks was, of course, first, and then came Phantom Hourglass... but I just got a CONSOLE one! :D

It's pretty easy, actually. You just get a ton of rupees (I had all 600 at the beginning... not the full 1000 that you can get IF YOU FOUND ALL 60 POES - which I haven't - but still a lot) and then pay the fortune teller a ton of money to tell your fortune of "love". They show exactly where a Piece of Heart is. Of course, it's up to me to figure out what to DO there... and I was stuck more than once, with Rowan having to come to my aid (she's kinda the TP expert - almost - because it's the ONLY Zelda game that she's completed before me. Not my fault I deleted my file. >.<).

Okay, so, like, where did my TROUBLES with the Fortune Teller begin?

Oh, maybe when she STOLE MY MONEY!!!!!

Let's see... the third-to-last Piece of Heart that I found was from that stupid mini-game in lake Hylia - Plumm's game - that you do as a wolf. Dang, I fail at that. Especially since I had no clue how many points you had to get to recieve the Heart Piece, and, to be honest, I didn't even know if I would GET a Heart Piece. Earlier I'd done Iza's river game thing, and apparently got a bigger bomb bag I didn't have before, but not a Heart Piece.

Anyway, after FINALLY getting that, I went back to the Fortune Teller and paid her the due ten rupees. She showed me some dude in Castle Town that asks for money. Now, she'd shown me this picture before, but I had no clue what to do with it - I gave him money EVERY time I came back to Castle Town for another prediction, but there seemed to be no Heart Piece. So I paid her again. Same guy. Again. Same. Again. Same.

So... there's only one Heart Piece left... when my gosh-darn Collection Screen says there's TWO?

...Fine. Steal my rupees then. But instead of giving them to you, stupid fortune teller, I'm giving them to the dude who's apparently so important that he gets to ask for money for "peace in Hyrule." Like I'd care about that (technically, I would, since I'm role-playing as a hero, but that's why I need these Heart Pieces, right? To pwn Ganondorf and create the "peace"? XD).

So I found that money-begging guy, and was prepared to give all my money away. But I only offered fifty rupees twice - and then, guess what? A HEART PIECE FELL OUT OF THE SKY!!!! O:

...Ooooookkkkaaaaay... Not what I expected, but fine. Maybe it came from Skyloft? XDDD

But guess what? Still didn't have full Heart Containers.

I WAS STILL MISSING A HEART PIECE! JUST ONE!

Somehow, this gives me deja vu to a certain SNES game that I NEVER found the last Heart Piece on... *cough* LttP! *cough*

Anyway, after that, I went back to the fortune teller, but she just said something like, I need to "experience" more before I can get another Heart Piece.

I'M IN THE FREAKING TWILIGHT REALM! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT ME TO EXPERIENCE? GANONDORF FIGHT?!?

...Apparently, she just wanted me to experience Hyrule Castle. Not even Zant. Just the castle.

Yeah, I'm in the Palace of Twilight, btw, because Zant is just my fave boss and I couldn't bear to never do him again until I beat a new file. So that's why it was there.

So I went, beat Zant, got into the castle, went back - and guess what? THE HEART PIECE WAS IN THE PALACE OF TWILIGHT THE WHOLE TIME! ...Grrr. So WHY couldn't she show me this before? WHY?!?

...Anyway, I got it eventually. And after that, well, why not just go ahead and beat the game again? XD

So, yeah, I did the final boss. And I even made sure I had Magic Armor on for all the epic cutscenes. Why? ...Idk. Magic Armor looks awesome. And a lot like Zelda's dress, in case you didn't notice. Seriously. It has the shouler plates, then the crown-type thingy at the top and the gem, and... I don't remember other similarities I observed, but I DO remember thinking that. So yeah. O_o

Goodnight. ...It's too late to get on Wizard101 now, so I guess I'll have to wait for Celestia. But whatever. I had too much fun writing this. ;)

MC Update - OOH! OOH! IT'S THAT GOD DUDE FROM WIND WAKER!

I beat Mount Crenel! Yayz! :D

...Speaking of which, I STILL can't figure out what the heck that dungeon there was called. Something-mines, probably, just because there were mine carts all over the place. And those provided me no end of crazy pleasure. Hehe, I love riding in mine carts...

Hmm. Where to begin.

Let's see - the BIG BAD BOSS is always a good place to start (thought I'd forgotten about that catchphrase-type thingy of mine, hadn't you? :P)!

You know, I was kinda looking forward to the boss turning all cute in the end. ...Um, I know that just sounded really stupid right there. But, I mean, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED IN THE MANGA! But the manga is CONFUSING ME!!! When I heard I was headed to the Fortress of Winds, I became so confused - the manga had Link getting the WATER Element first. That's probably why I was stuck for so long - I was trying sooooo hard to get into Lake Hylia that I totally ignored the other element symbol.

Oh, hey, speaking of which... why is the Earth Element purple? Can someone tell me what happened to the earth being GREEN? And why is the WIND the green one? -.-

...Back on topic...

Okay, I don't even know the Minish Cap bosses' names. Except for Giant ChuChu or whatever, but that's pretty obvious. :P Reason? I haven't bothered to look them up, that's why. Duh. In fact, the only reason I know Wind Waker boss names would be because I actually have the ambition to go off and search for it myself!

I mean, I know so much about Zelda that I can recognize references to other games' bosses when I see them.

Such as what I believe just might be a reference to Gohdan...

You don't know who Gohdan is? Oh, come ON! Okay, okay... he's that masked dude with two floating hands and floating head in the Tower of Gods of Wind Waker, not evil, but not good, obviously not because he attacks you and nearly killed me multiple times, mostly because I kept running out of arrows despite that fact that he replenished them, and then there's the glowing stuff around the outer edges of the room that HURT when you fall onto them, and, oh, then he doesn't explode at the end, lol, like other bosses, and he's the only one that doesn't appear in Ganon's Tower at the end...

...and...

..um...

He's the Tower of Gods dude in WW. There. I said it.

Okay... you know what? I've totally strayed from my original point here. First of all, I was talking about the boss of MOUNT CRENEL... not the Fortress of Winds. And the boss I think was a reference to WW is the Fortress of Winds boss.

The boss from Mount Crenel... was some sort of snake-rock thingy that spewed fire at me... Um... and I used the Cane of Pacci to defeat it.

Yeah.

But I still like the Gohdan boss. It included shrinking to a Minish and going inside things to break stuff. :D

Hmm... now I REALLY want to know what these bosses names are...

*an hour later, after looking it up on Zelda Wiki, somehow getting into the entry of Blizzeta from Twilight Princess, listening to Fyrus's theme and comparing it to Blizzeta's, then watching random Skyward Sword stuff for some reason on YouTube...*

Okay! I got it! The Gohdan style boss is named Mazaal. Interesting... XD

OH!! GUESS WHAT?!? I already knew the name of that second boss. I just forgot. ...Honestly! I knew it was Gleerok! I remember hearing that name somewhere! O_o

According to the listing, next is Big Octorok (how WONDERFUL) then the Gyorg Pair that I've seen and heard so much about. Then onto Vaati. Yay!

'Kay, that's it for tonight. Enjoy your weekend, everyone. :)

MC Update - A Minish-sized update...

I gotta make this quick... I always go to the Pokemon league on Saturday nights, and we're leaving in just about ten minutes... but I'll probably forget about this if I leave it for later.

You should all know that I got Minish Cap, right? Yeah. From traitor Tnaz. Oh, he's a traitor, because he lies and steals - he stole Pokemon cards from this poor girl at the league, and then he lied to me about that epic story of his. Remember? I was talking about that? Yeah, well, he didn't write it. It's called Error Code 35, btw, so go ahead and look it up on Fanfiction.net - it's actually on there, and that's how I found out about his lies. ...Although it was violent. It IS horror genre. Weird, I don't usually read stories like that, but I liked the suspense of this one... even if Link dies! IN THE FIRST CHAPTER! And then Pikachu's next. And Zelda and Toon Link after. All my fave chars... >.<

Well, time to make the first update of MC...

And it's quick, short, and all around... MINISH SIZED! xD

First off, I played through the first parts of the game, which I did earlier on the VBA thingy (that I'm pretty sure is illegal now, so I stopped using it O_o). I was so proud of myself for doing the ENTIRE FIRST DUNGEON WITHOUT A WALKTHROUGH! :D I got to the boss - and it was a giant ChuChu! Like, OMGNESS! That's so epic. ;)

So I beat that... then when I got to Mount Crenel was about the time I got stuck. I figured out to water the plants or something, but I kept dying on my way up. And you know what's the worst part? FAIRIES IN MINISH CAP ARE THE STUPIDEST CREATURES EVER. Look, I had only half a heart left, and you know what? I was soooooo lucky to come upon a Great Fairy Fountain! :D But when I went up to the fountain... nothing happened. No Great Fairy came up. So I went crazy and pressed random buttons, lolz. When I picked up some water in a bottle by accident, THEN she came up... and increased my bomb bag.

WITHOUT HEALING ME.

What the heck? >.<

Okay, that's all the time I've got. Right now I'm attempting to get the Pegasus Boots... I think. I have two elements, therefore ONE CLONE! :D Oh, right. Still need to FSA update...

Bye bye! Have a good weekend! :)

A Very Zelda Halloween

Halloween... is, like, the bestest holiday. Um, why? Let me ask YOU a question first. Why would anyone think it ISN'T the bestest holiday?!? You get to dress up as random stuffs, whether scary or epiclatastical or pretty or different or WHATEVER you want. All my life, I've been either a princess, fairy, or some kind of... animal... thing. Like a cat. ...Or a Maril. Yeah, I was a Pokemon for Halloween once. I didn't always used to be Zelda addict - Pokemon DID come first. Deal with it. XD

HOWEVER...

This Halloween is SPECIAL. :D

The reason? If you can remember last Halloween on this blog (which you probably can't XD) then you'll know what I just so happened to dress up as. Princess Zelda. No kidding. And Sydney was Link the leprachaun (my fault for calling her that, lolz. Warning to candy-givers at houses while some kids dressed in weird Hylian costumes come up to your house: don't ask who the person in green is, or you'll get a LOT of screaming and arguing and name-calling. :P). Oh, and no one cares, but... Hunter was a Wraith from Wizard101 last year. So awesomeful! ;) Rowan was a witch; Paige was also a witch; Taryn was... some kind of devil-witch. XD I called them the Twinrova, despite the fact there were three of them. :P Mostly I was refering to Rowan and Paige, anyway, since Taryn technically called herself a Skeleton Bride.

So... this year! Some changes in our lineup of costumes... *ahem*

Last year, Sydney's Link costume wasn't from any specific game. She just had the basics: green tunic, green hat, some kind of foamy-sword thingy that was really fun to play with. :P This year, however, she's decided. She will be... MINISH LINK! So she's buying an Ezlo hat. Yayz.

Hunter won't be from Wizard101 this year - he's joining the Zelda bandwagon. :D He will be... VAATI! Hylian form, of course. Not the giant eye. XD So he'll probably have the long black/purple cloak and the wishing cap thingy. Ooh. Playing with the wishing cap will be almost as much fun as playing with Sydney's foam sword!

Me? I was pretty much a general, all-around unspecific Zelda last Halloween. I based my costume MAINLY off Ocarina of Time, though, including the designs on the bottom of the dress. However, I carried around a bow, and OoT is, like, the ONLY game Zelda DOESN'T use the bow in. O_o (Not really, you know... but all the big important ones she does. Wind Waker. Twilight Princess. ...Spirit Tracks. ST is not as important, but whatever.) Now I just might be Minish Zelda. Just because everyone ELSE is being from Minish Cap, lol. I don't want to be all lonely from OoT. If I do end up changing to Minish Zelda, I'll just PRETEND I don't have Ocarina of Time designs on my dress, PRETEND my crown is Toon Zelda's, and... ditch the bow for a shield. And then I'll give it to Sydney at the end of the day. ...Or maybe not. I LIKE shields, tyvm. Sydney didn't use one LAST year! ...Let's just PRETEND that her shield got burned up in the fire mine place. :P

Now... Rowan. I don't think Taryn and Paige will be anything Zelda-related, but Rowan most certainly will. Ever since last year, she's really wanted to be Midna from Twilight Princess. But now she'll be the only one from TP if she does do that. So she's changing again. She might be... a forest Picori/Minish, which I vote for. It would be the most ADORABLE costume ever! Like... Minishes are sooooooo cute! Other than that, she might be Young Zelda. Which would ALSO be cute! For some reason, she wants to be "all clingy," as she calls it. XD She wants to hang off my arm and act timid and cute or something. Although I still like the Picori idea, this would be an AWESOME idea, and is the one most likely to happen. Our costumes would match GREAT together - me older Zelda, her younger. Plus it'll give me an excuse to be OoT while everyone else is MC (HAH! SHIELD IS MINE!).

And that's it. *sigh* I was planning on a Minish Cap or Four Swords Adventures update tonight, but that's okay. Remember - tomorrows a holiday. Labor day, is it? Or Columbus day? Something like that. On the other hand, the blog is FINALLY back to normal, complete with an epic background courtesy of Rowan WillowLeaf (but I was the one who had to do A TON of math and so on to get the size right to repeat across the background right - darn, you CANNOT believe how much work went into that. Days. Blogger is stupid and won't accept certain sized images, and therefore we were pretty stumped for a while. I SHOULDN'T have to do math on my weekend!). Oh, AND there's an awesome new header! I made that. You can't imagine how long it took to pick out the render. I kind of wanted the Skyward Sword one, just because, well, Skyward Sword is the main focus of this blog currently, and the entire Zelda-fanverse is waiting for it. But I almost made it a Wind Waker one, with this absolutely, unbelievably awesome render of Link and these cute little pigs! :D That, or one of OoT Link playing the ocarina. SO MANY CHOICES!

Anyway. Happy Monday holiday (whatever it is), readers! As always, comment, and remember to read The Blade of Evil's Bane prologue below if you haven't already! :D

Blog Under Construction! -.-

And it's really not working out, either. *sigh* We're having problems with the background, as you can see. It's not turning out the way it looks in Photoshop. >.< I still need to change the header so that it's longer, too. I'm sorry, I just don't have time this week. I've been skipping homework for this... and it's STILL not turning out right!

Goodnight, everyone. Hopefully this weekend this page will look normal again.

The Blade of Evil's Bane Prologue

Wow... too much blogging tonight...

But here. I kept my promise. Here's the prologue. I'm BEGGING you to comment and tell me your honest opinion. If it is absolute, total failure... let me know. I'm not used to writing from the villain's perspective, lol, so it might be bad. I'm actually not used to writing in third person AT ALL. So... tell me what you think. If you guys like it, I might post the first chapter (that I really dislike) and you could give me some advice.

Ooh, and remember to read the two posts below! They ARE new, I promise. Just don't feel like editing...

The Blade of Evil's Bane - Prologue

Power…

That was him.

He was the King of Evil, born leader of the Gerudo, would-be conqueror of Hyrule. He had worked so long to achieve his goal, and just when it was finally within his grasp…

…He should have won. He had all the power in the world and the strength to single-handedly take over an entire kingdom. How was it that he had lost?

Those two. The other Triforce bearers. They were the reason his dream had been shattered.

But how?

They did not have power. He had Power, the absolute kind that can only be rivaled by the Goddesses themselves. How did they defeat him?

Wisdom…

That was the princess.

She looked so fragile, seemed so helpless, he never imagined she would be a problem. What he hadn’t expected was for her to use the superior knowledge and magical abilities granted to her by the Triforce to fool him.

Somehow, he believed she would just sit away in a “safe” hiding spot, away from the rest of the world. Never did he suspect the mysterious Sheikah boy of actually being a princess, even if he was the one always helping the bearer of Courage.

How had he not seen it?

Courage…

That was the Hero.

That Goddess-forsaken Hero.

He had only been a boy, an orphan raised by a race of children. Children! And still he was granted the Goddess’ favor. He was given unbelievable Courage, the ability to take on anything. The worst part was that he could no disagree that the boy had done his tasks well. He defeated every monster presented before him, no matter how formidable.

He had defeated Ganon, the very embodiment of Power…

How?

Ganondorf clenched his fists, glaring uselessly at the eternal white mist all around him. It had seemed impossible. It was impossible. That boy had still done it, despite the odds.

The boy had Courage, but not Power. How had it come to this? He had… no… Power…

The Gerudo paused as he came to a sudden realization.

He did have power.

The power to repel evil.

The Master Sword.

Ganondorf grinned maliciously, a plan forming in his head. He knew how to get his long-awaited victory. He knew how to get his revenge. He knew just how to leave Hyrule and its Hero desperate and without hope or weapons. He just had to get rid of that sword…

It would be time very soon. Ganondorf could feel the seal weakening – why or how, he did not know. But he had asked “how” enough.

It was time to find out if Courage really could amount to Power… without the Blade of Evil’s Bane.

MAKEOVER!!! :D

I totally changed the layout of the blog. Huh? Why? 'Cuz I felt like it. And because the Skyward Sword pictures weren't fitting. XD

Well, I have to change the header now. Me is going to get started on that.

Oh, right. I said I would post the prologue here... *sigh*

Three posts for the day?

I'll do that in a second. Be patient. ;)

New pictures? Yay. We can stare at more things.

How... exciting. I know. XD

The new pictures that I'm talking about are from Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time 3DS. Personally, the Skyward Sword ones didn't really seem "new." Same areas, at least. Except for ONE. This epic fire temple-ish one. :D I know the fire-type temple one was in the trailer, but this one... look at the background! I think it's pretty, lolz!

Okay, these pictures are all coming from Legend of Zelda.com, where I get the majority of my Zelda news. ;) Credit goes to them entirely, or wherever THEY got it from. If you want to view it on their site instead of my blog (traitors! XD), then go here.

Epic Fire Temple one:

Other Skyward Sword screenshots:

Okay. That's done...

Now for what got me SUPER excited. Turns out staring at pictures CAN be fun after all.

The... Ocarina of Time 3DS ones! Guess what? They finally showed us something besides the title screen of the game. Meaning Young Link! :)

(Bottom two weren't on that post at LoZ.com, and are actually from here.)

Annnd... this one is my absolute favorite.

You can guess why! :D It shows the BOTTOM SCREEN! I've been wondering how they would make the transition from a console game to portable. It looks like you have the little buttons you can tap, or something, that you equip potions and items to. And the map's down there, along with three little buttons that... say something in Japanese...

I can't read Japanese. *sob*

So... it's not like PH or ST. It's a top screen game. Not so much touching, I guess. I don't have a problem with that, except I was kind of hoping the Ocarina would be a bit like the Spirit Flute! I LOVE that flute! I will play it for HOURS. (Not really. But I probably could if I felt like it. :D) We haven't seen the ocarina yet, though... maybe I can still hope for it...

'Kay, enough blogging for me. ...Actually, I still have two more posts to make after this. One on Sierra's Story... and then... maybe I'll post the prologue on here. Finally.
