Zelda: Fallen Sage Screenshots

EDIT 5/22/11: Look, I made this post a LONG time ago, but it's STILL getting views. It's the most-viewed post on my blog, and it doesn't even have to do with anything canon in The Legend of Zelda. I don't even like Fallen Sage anymore, and the game was just OKAY. So I've changed the title in hopes that people will stop coming to it. Seriously. Former title: "EPIC SCREENSHOT POST! (a.k.a. longest post ever)". Besides, that's inaccurate... I've DEFINITELY wrote longer posts than this now...

You will NOT believe what I did on Friday! I downloaded a new RPG. A new ZELDA RPG! It's a fan-made game called The Fallen Sage... The battle system is kinda, well... primative... and there are SOOOO many grammar errors that, especially for an author like me, IT IS SO DANG FRUSTRATING!!! I just want to take a red pen and mark all over this thing. XD Well, anyway, the game is fun! And the storyline is EPIC! And Dark Link is creepy, lol. I mean, he always was... but that was BEFORE he was TALKING to me... o.O

Btw... before I forget... I also beat the second dungeon on Link's Awakening. I apparently do not know what a stinking Stalfos is. I thought they were the Skeleton things... but NOOO, they're the darn grim-reaper-ish thingies! ...That makes me wonder what the skeletons are actually called...

In any case, here's the second Siren Instrument! :D

Now that that's over with... time for some Fallen Sage pictures! ...Btw, is it weird that I fall in love with an awesome fan-made game? Honestly, I'm having a blast. But there's not even videos on YouTube about this, that's how discreet it is. Well, whatever, I love ANYTHING Zelda. For instance, I just tortured myself for about three hours watching the old Zelda TV episodes! They were hilarious. XD But that's for another post. Back to Fallen Sage stuff...

Now be warned, because honestly, I took SOOO many screenshots. XD

The game begins with Link walking through some forest or something... WHEN HE'S RANDOMLY ATTACKED BY DARK LINK! ZOMG!

Then I enter my first battle! Yayz! It took me a few moments to figure out how to fight - but then all my old RPG Adventure Quest/Dragon Fable knowledge from forever ago came flooding back! Then Dark Link started talking to me...

(Btw there should be a COMMA before Link! GEEZ, DARK LINK! GET IT RIGHT!)

Anyway, I was so ready for epic ownage, like in OoT... or ST... but... I failed... O.o

Back outside in the forest:

(You know I'm NOT the Hero of Time, right? ...Or am I? I thought it was only Link from Ocarina of Time... XD)

So he knocks me out and I fall unplesantly to the ground. O.o

When Link wakes up, he's in this house... with this weird lady...

(You know that little dot on the keyboard at the end of sentences? USE IT!)

She calls herself "Laures" - but that's only a codename. She won't tell me her real name. Claiming that she dragged Link's unconscious body here, she demands that I help her retrieve something from the castle that the guards took from her. And what does Link say? Yes. Of course. I have no choice but to head outside into the Castle Town to sneak into the Castle.

OOH, look who I found out there, btw! I started LOLing so hard...

(Quote from... I believe... The Adventure of Link. :D)

After some long quest that I do... including heading into this bar, hearing something about Hyrule going to war, and being attacked by someone named Stalfoss... I end up at the Temple of Time. Yay! :)

Well, it was boring there, though. I only went there because there was apparently a secret passage into the castle through there, but the Zora sage in there kicked us out...

Laures suggested we go into the market instead to see if anyone can help us there. I did. I head into the market place. There were three shops. I had only 50 rupees... so I couldn't buy anything... but that's okay, I didn't need boring armor and stuff this early in the game anyway! But... in the third shop, I talked to the girl...

AND MY GAME CRASHED! WHAT THE HECK!?

And guess what? My infamous habit of not saving in video games carries over to RPG's, too! I HAD TO DO EVERYTHING OVER AGAIN - fight Dark Link, meet Laures, battle Stalfoss, get kicked out of the Temple of Time... ALL BECAUSE OF THIS ONE GIRL!

She just looks SO evil, right?

I save the second time before talking to her. ...And she STILL crashes my game - but it's not as bad, I just go right back in front of her. ^^

That was when I started getting paranoid. I couldn't figure out what to do - the only other room in the market was empty, with absolutely nothing in it. Laures told me to go to the market - and I'd looked at everything in here! I was starting to worry that she was who I needed to talk to and that I would never, ever get to complete this game because this stupid girl wouldn't speak to me.

Then, guess what? Saving again, I try to talk to her... and, on the third try... it works... And all she has to say is, "Look at the stuff in my shop! I have great things for sale!" >.< But, remember that empty room? This time, when I go inside of there, a guy comes out! He apprently loves Laures or something, because he tries to kiss her... but she owns him. XD He shows us a secret passage into the castle... which marks my very first dungeon! YAAY! :D Here's a screenshot of us fighting some seriously weird mini-boss. Laures is using her special attack - Poison Edge!

And then, we reached the boss! Link used HIS special attack, Cross Cut.

After defeating the boss, Laures reveals her greatest fear. XD

(I hate them too. XD)

So. When we go into the castle, we see lots and lots of troops marching into this room. It's weird... but Laures doesn't care. She only wants her stupid item.

Unfortunately... I'm an idiot... and I got caught by castle guards... and thrown in jail. Geez. Why do I have a reputation of getting thrown in jail now? XD

(You know, now that I think of it... the guards only caught us because LAURES was the one talking... >.<) Finally, we have a visitor! YAY! :)

(Punctuation... PLEASE?!?)

Zelda orders Laures to be put in a box. O.o The dumbest plan ever, I know, but whatever. Laures pwns the guards, and comes to unlock my cage. :D

Eventually, with Laures's help (man, I LOVE her Poison Edge... poisoning enemies is SO powerful...), I made it to the Treasury, where we find Laures's item. But... then the guards start coming... so Laures makes me jump off a cliff...

We witness this cutscene where we first meet General Akazoo. He is sending out large amounts of the soldiers of Hyrule to Misery Mire to defeat the Gohma. Then I head upstairs a bit, fighting some soldiers along the way, until finally, eventually, I reach where I'm supposed to be. And look who I find there! General Barbosa! ...and he attacks me. No problem, right? :D

...He's hard. O.o

(Epic. Fail.)

It doesn't matter! In a few more tries, BARBOSA GOES DOWN! MUHAHAHA!

(Wait, did he just say he loves Zelda? O.o)

Laures, who finds a map, leads us to the room where the passage into the Temple of Time is supposed to be. She thinks we can escape from there. But guess who shows up?

Isn't that great? But then, in the middle of her talking...

MY GAME CRASHES AGAIN! WHAT THE F...rench... fry! O.o

So I fight Barbosa again, he gets owned, Zelda shows up... and FINALLY, we can continue on. And we end up fighting her. O.o

I died at least three times, but it wasn't TOO hard. I mostly just ran out of potions, so, on about the third time of getting a game over, I ran around and fought random guards to level up and get potions before heading in to fight her. :D

Zelda claims she will call more guards... but we just walk away into the secret passage. XD

(I don't think Zelda's used to being ignored. :P)

I enter some kind of sewer, where I ran into some of my favorite Zelda enemies. XD

See? OCTOROKS!

And then... what the heck? It's... a hobo..? XD

I have NOOO idea what that guy was doing there... and I don't want to know. -.-

At long last, we make it out of the sewer into the Temple of Time! The Zora sage guy is still there, but with some unwanted visitors. Zelda knew where the passage went, and sent guards to cut us off there, and then guards behind us, too, to make sure we couldn't escape. However, the Zora (who's name is Zaleen) has a "master"... the first ever Sage of Shadow! Evaleen, the first Sage of Shadow, comes and saves the day!

However, there's a catch. Evaleen says Link is special (yay!). Then she reveals Laures's real name: Liyer. Now she wants me and Liyer and Zaleen to... um... kill the king of Hyrule for her. Yeah, like you can imagine Link doing that. So, since we refuse, Evaleen attacks us (and uses a Barrier spell thing).

(I can't believe we have to destroy the Sage of Shadow... I'm starting to feel guilty. First Zelda, now this?)

After defeating her, Liyer and I leave Zaleen alone in the temple. Then, after going back to Liyer's house... she says that it's time to say goodbye... and throws me out into the streets. Geez, thanks a LOT. -.-

Cutscene time! The soldiers in Hyrule are setting off to Misery Mire. However, General Akazoo is not going with them. He has something he must do in the castle first. So he goes into some basement or something... and my old friend Queen Gohma is there. Before this whole thing started, she apparently promised Akazoo to rule the kingdom if he helped her take over. So, with all the castle soldiers gone... Gohma's larva are free to take over the kingdom.

Back with Link, he walks out into the main part of the Castle Town... and then is attacked by hordes of Gohma larva! And is it just me, or does Link have a serious upgrade? He hits in the thousands now, and he has a new special skill - Faint Attack! (OMG, MY UMBREON ON POKEMON PEARL KNOWS THAT! XD)

Link reunites with Liyer and Zaleen soon enough, and they defeat Queen Gohma. Then they leave the ruined town - pretty much everyone in there is dead, I guess.

We go into another cutscene, where Akazoo confronts Zelda and her mother and father. Zelda fights against Akazoo (I controlled her - it was fun. She's awesome :D) and wins. ...However, Akazoo isn't over with. He then pushes Zelda to the ground or something. Zelda had a device that she created that traps people forever, apprently. Akazoo throws her in this cage, and says she's too weak to do anything.

(CAN YOU PLEASE CAPITALIZE STUFF?)

He says she can either marry him... or be trapped in this device thingy forever. Zelda chooses to be trapped. O.o

Back with Link:

Ah, finally, into Hyrule Field! Liyer says that maybe if we go to Lanayru province to the north, Zaleen can convince the Zoras to help us. In the meantime, (since apparently it's almost night..? It looked pretty bright, to me) we find a small town with an inn to sleep in. Zoras apparently don't have to sleep, and there's only two beds. Zaleen says he will wander around town until morning while Link and Liyer have a good night's rest.

Link has a dream where Zelda contacts him. She tells him of her situation, and tells him to rescue her.

Uh, that's what confuses me. She was the one trying to throw us in jail and kill us earlier... and now she wants me to SAVE her? Which side are you ON, Zelda! Just CHOOSE ONE!

Well, whatever. Zelda instructs Link to go to the Kokiri Forest.

When Link awakens - there's the guy Stalfoss standing there! *gasp* Link and Liyer are ready to fight, but he says he doesn't mean harm. He tells them that guards came looking for them earlier, and that they captured Zaleen. Totally ruins there plans for getting the Zora's help.

Stalfoss says that they should go into the Kokiri Forest - just like Zelda says! Stalfoss joins my party. Yay. Here's our new party fighting some Col... somethings...

(Is that actually what the wolf things are in the games? I thought they were Wolfos.)

Now as we head toward the Kokriri Forest... we encounter Akazoo! He says that Zelda told him Link would save her (thanks, Zelda). He also says he doesn't underestimate Link - which is SO much better than Ganondorf, who DEFINATELY did in OoT. :P He puts us against a new boss. Guess who? My favorite little ARMOGOHMA!!!!

(Lolz, Temple of Time boss in Twilight Princess! My first ever time fighting him is on this blog! ...Somewhere!)

After defeating him, something that I can't really remember happens. O.o Somehow, he disappears, and Liyer decides to go look for Zaleen. Stalfoss, on the other hand, still wants to go with Link to the Kokiri Forest. I got with Stalfoss - I'd be alone with Liyer on the other hand, since Link would go with Stalfoss no matter what. And I like Link. He is AWESOME. :D

We have to pass through Death Mountain before going to the Kokiri Forest, I guess, because we end up there. We fight an Ice Wyvern. :D

And then... I find an old friend who introduces him as Darunia, the Ruby Sage! Who is DaURina, now, I suppose (STUPID TYPOS). He says he knew my ancestor (Ocarina of Time Link, maybe? O:) and wants to see how strong I am. So... he fights us. Geez. Why does EVERYONE hate us?

After a long battle, he decides we're powerful enough and shows us into his house.

Then he mentions... Saria. Stalfoss describes it as a "pretty name". XD

Daurina introduces us to Jarfasi, a half-earth, half-ice elemental he created. She and Daurina guide us up the mountain and fight some Tektites and an Ice Wyvern with us. :D

(Tektites are creepy on here. ...However, they ARE just the concept art from OoT...)

I'm not sure if this place counted as a dungeon or not, but there was a boss. A weird one. Look, how do you even pronounce that?

As if having yiy-whatever appendages weren't enough, there's a yiyg-thing CORE, too, which constantly HEALS it's appendages, bringing them back to life!

We still beat it, though. Jarfasi is SOOO helpful - she is more powerful than Link! And Daurina boosted on them, so...

After the fight, Daurina reveals that he is the cause for Death Mountain being so icy. Sages aren't allowed to love, but he had a son (and named it Link - why do Gorons seem to like that name so much?), so the Goddesses took away all the lava and every Goron froze to death, including his son. Harsh, Nayru, Farore, and Din. Harsh. XD

That didn't really concern me, though. Somehow, we emerged into the forest, soon later.

(A "magic" forest? REALLY, Daurina?)

And that's about as far as I got! ...Actually, to be honest, I DID get farther (I fought Dark Link again, and met Saria, and then fought the General Akazoo but died). But... I didn't take very many screenshots after that, and... well... I didn't save any of it. So I thought I'd just replay it and take more screenshots this time. XD

This officially ends the LONGEST POST EVER.

In Hyrule, Epona flies, Link falls through pillars and hits invisible walls, powerful deities get stuck in hotels and postmen spontaneously disappear!

Is it weird that whenever I get bored of replaying my Zelda games sixty times over, I glitch them up? Or does everyone do that?

Okay, in the time, I shall write an intricate post on my experiences with the Map Glitch. ...Okay, on second thought, I'll write about the postman glitch first. It's shorter.

Taryn and Paige were at our house. Paige, specifically. Taryn was... doing the thing she always does. Which I never tell you purposefully. :P

I heard about a glitch where the postman on Twilight Princess runs off a cliff. I couldn't figure out how to do it though. I kept failing. O.o So eventually, I just gave up. I started running off into Hyrule Field. The postman called to me, like always. He ran toward me... AND THEN DISAPPEARED.

I screamed, I think. XD I am SUCH a wimp. But was totally not expecting that. Paige, who I had made read the Four Swords Adventures manga (she kept asking me which Links had which personality in FSA, and it was annoying me O.o), looked up. "What happened?" she asked, just as the screen turned black. O.o

Everything was running in an odd slow motion. The text box slooooowly appeared on the screen, the A button sloooowly inched up the side, and then letters slooowly appeared on screen - two at a time. Paige and I read them, adding the sounds as they appeared (Gre..eti..ng...s... Mr... Li...nk... XD). Taryn came in later, and after the postman handed me my letter and I got control of Link again, we did the entire thing over. :D

Now, another glitch. Hmm. ..OOH! I tried getting into Hyrule field... and failed epically.

This is on Wind Waker. Outside of Ganon's tower, there are these pillars you hookshot onto. If you get the right angle, you can get on top of the pillar and fly over into the field with the Deku Leaf. A while back, my sister and I tried to do this for hours... and I COULDN'T DO IT.

Now, Taryn was here. I was going to show her the Ganondorf fight, originally, but I decided that I might as well try this glitch out.

And guess what? ON MY VERY FIRST TRY, I GET ON TOP OF THE PILLAR!

I gasped, and then walked forward, anticipating an awesome flight into Hyrule Field -

AND I FELL THROUGH THE PILLAR.

That's where that part of the title came from. XD

On my FIRST. TRY. I MADE IT. After doing it for HOURS.

Later, I did it again... but then, I found a stupid INVISIBLE WALL in front of the field and flew into it with the Deku Leaf! How the heck was I supposed to get into the field IF THERE'S A WALL?!

Okay, now the other one! It's when Fierce Deity gets stuck in the Stock Pot Inn on Majora's Mask. XD Poor Linky. But we found lots of glitches in there... until I accidentally got the room key... so Anju didn't kick me out and I had to restart... O.o

Next glitch? Uh, the only one I mentioned in the title is the Map Glitch. ...I guess I'll go on with that...

Oh, hey, look at the time! I guess I can't describe how Epona flies in TP! XD Okay, I'll explain later. It's funny though. But it's a looooong story. :D

WOOT! 100th POST!

Guess what this post is? MY HUNDRETH POST EVER! Somehow, this blog got more posts than my other one along the way, which has only 95. Huh.

I should be making this special, probably, but I only have five minutes. :( Otherwise, I'd talk all about my map glitch stuff. Oh, and these new online RPG's based off LoZ that sound like SO much fun. I want to download them as soon as I get home.

I wish I could go to E3. I wonder where it is? Hmm, maybe I should Google that. ...I'll go do that now, with my remaining three minutes. XD

Header Change!

Like the title... I changed the header. Usually I wouldn't put two entries in one day, but I had to mention that. Now I'm planning on changing it every week or so, just because I like making them. XD I'll probably reuse a lot of them.

This one is of Zelda Wii... I'm just SO excited. Only one more month until E3! :)

OoT Update - Usually "swordless" would be bad... but it's pretty awesome. :D

When I think about it... you can't REALLY call this an "update". In Ocarina of Time, I have two files, but both of them are on Ganondorf battle. I could talk about my quest for the bottles on my first file (my second one is SO much better: all bottles, Giant's Wallet, Biggoron sword... ooh! I just realized I don't have Ice arrows on this file yet! O: I need to get those...), but that's not exciting. So instead... I'll talk about the "Swordless Link Glitch!" :)

Um... I dont have much time... so I'll write this quickly!

There are two ways to do it in the first version... One is easy, two is harder, and I don't know how to do either of them. O.o I don't have the first version. The Wii gives you version 1.2, so I have to do a different way that's much, much more complicated and hard.

HOW TO DO IT:

First, start the boss fight with Ganondorf. After you beat him, and he turns into Ganon, then you can activate the glitch.

First, do the "Ocarina Items" glitch with anything. You do that by having a fish in a bottle, freeing the fish, then catching it again so the bottle is in Link's hand. Then do a backflip, and in mid-air press the button with the fish on it and the item you want to play as an Ocarina. If the timing is right, Link will hold the item up to his mouth and be able to play any song on it (bombs are so funny XD). If you want an enequipped Master Sword in your inventory (so that you can deactivate the glitch at any time), play the Sun's Song. You don't have to do this, because your swordlessness can easily be deactivated by going back in time.

Once you play the Sun's Song and have the Master Sword unequipped by in your inventory (if you do that part), do the Ocarina Items glitch again with anything and play any warp song. I play the Lake Hylia one (Serenade of Water) because you can get Epona there right away, but anywhere works.

So, what's this glitch good for? I mean, you can't take out your sword... what's good about that? Well, you can use items on Epona! :)

I played around in Lake Hylia for a bit, trying out a glitch I heard of that lets you get under the ice in Zora's Domain. That was fun, until I got stuck behind the waterfall. O.o

Then I headed to Lon Lon Ranch to play the Obstacle Course game. Then... I found my own glitch! Kinda. Like, it was what everyone else does... but modified.

How to do MY glitch:

First, start the Obstacle Course game in Lon Lon Ranch. Instead of going forward to jump the fences when the game starts, turn around and go the other way instead. At the first fence you go across, go to the side of it so that it's in front of you vertically, and then walk into is verrry slowly. If you get the right angle, Epona will go up on it, and be halfway in the ground. It's weird. XD Then, take out the Ocarina on Epona (since you need the Swordless Link glitch) to fall through her. Then, press B to go back, and use the bow. An annoying sound will come through your speakers (same sound when you do Fierce Diety glitches on MM O.o). To stop it, use a bottle. You can run around and Epona will stay at an angle in the ground with the camera fixed on her while Link runs away in the background. :P

Note: You don't have to get Epona at an angle: it's just funnier. XD

I also experimented with the Map Glitch some more on Twilight Princess, but that's annoying story - a hilarious one. XD

Guess I need to do some updating!

I can't beleive it! I haven't posted on this blog in FIVE DAYS! O:

Oddly, I don't have much to say. Oh, but I did buy something Zelda related online. :) It was from United Kingdom. It was a Twilight Princess DSi skin. It looks EPIC. :D

Oh! OH! I just remembered something interesting I did! On Four Swords Adventures, I saved the last maiden! Whatever color she was. I can't even remember. Wow. I think it was purple, though.

Oh, man. You won't believe it: the White and Red maidens are related to Navi! O: They sound EXACTLY LIKE HER! The White maiden says "HEY" EXACTLY like Navi when I find the Dark Mirror is missing... and the Red maiden does the same thing, except when we find the Trident missing. Srsly. They could have taken it RIGHT out of Ocarina of Time. Why couldn't they have taken the COOL parts out of OoT? Like... the Zoras that AREN'T EVIL?!?

That reminds me. On LegendofZelda.com, I joined the Zora group. Did I mention that yet? Well, anyway. Yeah. It's fun. :D

Let's see... what else?

I FOUND THE HYLIAN! On TP, I mean. The Language... that I learned! Did I say that already? Honestly, I feel like I'm repeating myself half the time. Anyway, if I didn't say that, I was reading random stuff off my map. Our dang TV is so small, it was hard to read some of it. And there's this one word in Ordon I can't figure out. I thought it would be Ordona, since all the other Light Spirits names are there, but it's more like something that began with an L and O...

Okay. I started a new WIND WAKER FILE! YAAAY! It was for my friend, though. For Noob. He fails though. He threw a pig off a cliff. AND THEN HE LET ARYLL GET STOLEN. GEEZ, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU! XD

Another thing: I entered a Brawl tournament on W101Central... and WON! Take that Timeless! :P Well, I failed as Pikachu though, and it WAS a close match with the Sudden Death...

Nothing else to say. I'm heading to Frozen Hyrule to save Zelda on FSA. But I've played nothing else, besides a little of ST and some OoT, with... Swordless... Link... OOH! I JUST REMEMBERED! I started a post about that... and never finished! I should have been editing it right now! O.o

Well. You'll just have to wait until tomorrow I guess. :P

Slight Changes

In case you haven't noticed, I've added those "pages" things to the side of my blog. I don't really know why. Mostly to take out ALL that stuff in my blog description that was clogging the thing up. And just for fun. XD

Another thing I changed are the labels. I used to split up the titles of my game - for instance, for The Wind Waker, I would put "Wind", then "Waker" as two separate labels. That wasn't working, especially when I got to A Link to the Past. I ended up putting "Link" and "Past", but "Link" was already on so many other entries... so I changed it so that they will be ONE word. Took me forever, considering how many entries I have, but I FINALLY did it! ;)

Oh, and I also added a poll. Should I change the header? I actually made a new one already, but I like the current one, too. I was thinking I would maybe make three or four of them and then ask which ones you guys like best.

And that's all! No updates today - nothing happened. I haven't played anything Zelda today. Except for piano. I learned the Stone Tower Temple theme from Majora's Mask. Man, I hated that temple, with Twinmold and everything, and all that upside-down turning stuff with Light Arrows. Ugh. But the song is pretty... if not catchy and somewhat annoying... O.o

FSA Update - Let's the play throw OTHER people in jail game! :P

Finally, I made it past those dang searchlights! And this time, I only got caught THREE times!

You know what's funny? Whenever I'm playing this game, Vio tends to be the stupidest. I find myself getting mad at him more than any of the others. And in the manga, he's the SMART one! Yeah, right! He won't even push that darn rock out of the way!

Uh... so now I'm in Kakariko village. Or, um, I'm not anymore. I'm in the Desert... temple. I guess. Somewhere in some Desert of Doubt, that's all I know. XD

But Kakariko is what this update is about. At first I was confused, because I FORGOT I can pick up trees (I'm an idiot sometimes). But when I accidentally did, I found a secret path into some random guy's house! He told me to thrown all the thieves in town into JAIL! :D And then I opened the chests in his house... and there was nothing in them. O.o What's the point of having two nice, giant chests just sitting there when there's NOTHING in them? Well, at least it wasn't a Big Bomb. Seriously, I kept finding them. -.-

So I gathered up all the thieves AND GOT MY REVENGE! MUHAHAH! :P

And now... that's all. It was fun throwing people in jail, though.

You kow, there was this jerk girl standing outside of the village who started screaming her head off at me when I talked to her. She's like, "Put out these fires now, then GET OUT OF OUR VILLAGE!" Geez, what did I do? When I put out the fires like she said, she's like, "Oh, you're not that shadow guy?" O.o SHE THOUGHT I WAS SHADOW LINK! Seriously, he doesn't look THAT much like Link...

I've saved five maidens. OOH, and the white one's related to Navi! She's EVIL!

So, I'm in the desert place now. And... that's all. Yep.

...OMG! I actually finished a post! I'M SO PROUD! XD

FSA Update update (lol)!

My second update of an update! :P I edited my post below. I'm just going to call that my post of the day, because I'm too lazy to write anything else. Not that anything happened... except for I got all the Sand of Hours/Heart Containers on PH. Wait, did I mention that? Yeah, probably. Whatever. Oh, and NOW I beat all the ST sidequests. I FINALLY delievered the Goron Iron and got all Force Gems. Now I'm working on finding bunnies - but I can't find the last Ocean one! Man, just like with the LttP mysteriously missing Heart Piece, I cant' find the Ocean bunny, the LAST one, even though I even looked up a walkthrough and printed out a picture of their locations! I swear, these games hate me...

FSA Update - Let's play the Get-Thrown-in-Jail game!

It's a fun game, actually. You should try it.

As an summary (since again I don't have much time), I basically beat a level of FSA I've been stuck on forever. Then I tried to infiltrate Hyrule Castle, but I got caught. It reminded me of Wind Waker Forsaken Fortress, so I made a new file and called it "Stupid". O.o

This is what happened. I have been stuck on the Swamp level on the In the Fields area! I get all the way to the graveyard part of it, and then I couldn't figure out what to do. Finally, I got it by breaking a pot entirely by accident and finding a switch and getting the bow, and then I get stuck AGAIN.

This time, I found a house where Dampe is. There was a Power Bracelet in the Treasure Chest there. It says, "You got the Power Braclet! Now you feel like you can pick up anything!"

I remember there were graves in the Dark World I couldn't lift... so I headed there. but I STILL couldn't lift them. Yeah. Lift up ANYTHING. Sure. (Stupid in-game descriptions LIES!)

Darn, time's up already? I didn't even get to the Infiltration of Hyrule Castle part! O.o Well, I PROMISE I'll edit this one... or make another posts. Geez, I have to start these things earlier.

EDIT: See, told ya I would edit it! I made my post first, BEFORE running out of time! :D

So. I can't lift up graveyards... but according to the walkthrough I was forced to look up... I can lift freaking TREES. No gravestones - FULL. GROWN. TREES.

Well, I did it anyway. And then, guess what I found behind the tree? My first ever searchlights! Paige was there, and she wondered what happened when I got found in their light. So I walked into them for her. And instantly, a full army of Ghini appeared and started rushing at me! Almost screaming irl, I started rapidly pressing "B" to ward them off. Finally, they were gone, and the searchlights were still following, providing me with the much-needed light! :)

I found a lantern, and after a few more puzzles and an epic battle with Jallhalla (he's the boss of Medli's temple on Wind Waker!!!! :D) I FINALLY completed the level I had been stuck on for so long.

Now it was on to the last dungeon in the area. Amazingly, it was titled "Infiltration of Hyrule Castle!" Woot! Sounds like my kind of level! xD

I got up a couple screens (and also listened for a while to the music that was unmistakenablely LttP's Dark World theme, which didn't help my nervousness of sneaking into Zelda's own home... kinda), and guess what I found there? SEARCHLIGHTS! My best buddies! :)

This is where the game started. O.o

Paige urged me to get caught by the searchlights, asking me what would happen if I did. I told her I guessed a bunch of guards would come running at me. After what happened LAST time she told me to go into a light, I refused, tring to avoid being caught (luckily, I only had to worry about Green - Vio, being last in line, got into the light a lot of times, but the guards are stupid enough not to notice him, I guess. -.-).

Unfortunately, being inept at this (hey, when was the last time you remember trying to avoid searchlights? I don't know if it's just me, but it doesn't happen often irl O.o), I couldn't keep out of harm's way for long. Eventually, I strayed close enough for the lights to notice me anyway. Oddly, no enemy's came out. A blaring alarm sounding literally EXACTLY like the one when you get caught on Wind Waker echoed around... and I couldn't move! It was then that I remembered what that alarm meant on WW - you were about to be thrown in jail!

And that's exactly what happened.

I had some trouble trying to get out (WW is SO much easier - all you have to do is crawl out of a hole! Not that it helped us much when we played the game the first time... our brightness setting was too low, so... um... I wrote an entry about this once before...), but once I did, I found a passageway (ah, there's the hole XD) back out into where I had entered.

I said to Paige, "Okay, I am NOT going in those searchlights again. No matter what you say, I will not be caught-"

And JUST as I'm saying that, the first searchlight (the one I actually AVOIDED the first time!) saw me. And I was thrown in jail... AGAIN!

It was easier to escape the second time because I had my boomerang, but I just got caught again. After that, I just did it for fun. XD

Well, now, with all these Wind Waker-like searchlights/jails, it made me want to do Forsaken Fortress! So I turned off FSA (I didn't even bother to save, lol, not when I'd done NOTHING. See, this is why I always got my file erased on MM. XD), and got out Wind Waker!

I found a file I didn't need. Actually, it was on Medli's temple. Medli was in my boat when I turned it on. O.o

So I deleted it, and made a new file over it! When it asked what my name was, I said... "stupid." XD

Idk what I was thinking - not to make fun of LoZ, that's for sure. But I wanted to see what Grandma would say, rofl.

And, like I'd expected, I run off to see Grandma - and she says, "Stupid... I've been waiting for you. Stupid, I want you to have these." XDD

Then she tells me to go find Aryll, and I say, "Geez, my sister has a normal name like "Aryll!" And I get, "Stupid?" COME ON!" :P

Yep. Well, I never DID get to the Forsaken Fortress... Paige and Taryn had to go before I could, and without them there to enjoy it with me, I was really bored. XD So I deleted that file, and decided to get on W101 Central.

And that's pretty much it. That's all I did last night. O.o

FSA Update! Kinda. Actually, it's mostly piano stuff...

I have eight minutes to write this thing! So, so, so, so... uh... yeah...

You know, I've prety much already said everything I wanted to say in the last post. I put that quick little update there at the bottom of the page. That should be enough to keep you guys informed, right? Yeah... I hope so.

I haven't played any Zelda games for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT! O: I have been playing Zelda piano songs, though! :)

All my friends are going to a huge recital, because we all happen to play piano! Okay, not happen... they always come over to my house, because, um... piano lessons are held here. O.o

So Taryn, Paige, Noob (remember him? XD), Sarah (I'll just call her that cuz I'm uncreative with names right now. She's Noob's sister), and some other girl who I really don't know but is in Sydney's grade. Sydney MIGHT come (I really want her to) and some other people, too. I hope Noob brings his Spirit Tracks game, and Taryn brings her DS. Then we can play ST Multiplayer, the funnest thing ever invented since Four Swords! :D Man, when we're with Sydney, we always have a BLAST playing it. :)

For the concert, I'm playing a medley of SOME of my Zelda songs! (Not all, there's too many! XD) The medley will go with an intro of Zelda's Lullaby, then Ordon Village from TP, then Saria's Song, then Song of Healing, then Song of Storms (too many "songs"), then Midna's Lament, then Zelda's Lullaby!

Okay, my time's up. That's all for now. I'll edit it if I have time later! :D

x gasps x TWO NEW ZELDA GAMES IN ONE DAY?!?!

My first new Zelda game: Oracle of Ages. It shouldn't come as a surprise, since I've been talking about it. Lol, sorry, Lucas, I didn't get your suggestion about Seasons first until AFTER I downloaded it. O.o Oh, well. It was fun.

This second one... well, it probably might be a slightly unexpected. But it's probably my favorite game EVER now. Almost as good as Wind Waker (well, it's so much like it anyway - gosh, the voice actors are even the same, and Link sounds EXACTLY like on WW). Plus, we've wanted it forever... especially after we read the manga. Can you guess what it is yet? It's... FOUR SWORDS ADVENTURES! :D

Like I said above: Rowan and I have been waiting for Four Swords Adventures!! In fact, if it weren't for the stupid DS replacing GameBoy (and DSi... which keeps deleting this post - this is my third time writing it!), FSA would have been... our SECOND ZELDA GAME EVER. As in... before now. Before VBA (OoA and LA) and A Link to the Past. Before Spirit Tracks. Before Majora's Mask - even Ocarina of Time! Before Twilight Princess... Heck, it was before Phantom Hourglass! Just so you know... I just named every Zelda game I have (kinda) in the order I received them backwards. Except for two: Wind Waker and Four Swords Adventures.

So, after we beat Wind Waker (over four years ago... gosh, it's really been that long? O.o), we reeaaly wanted another game (hopefully one without the idiot boat). Now, at this point, we were totally into multiplayer games (unlike now, when playing by myself is much more entertaining). Super Smash Bros. Melee was our favorite. So, why don't we get a multiplayer Zelda game? We had brand new shiny DS's, so we hoped they would work like the GameBoys.

But they don't. DS Lites don't connect with the GameCube. We went all the way to the store, found the game, counted out all the money we needed for it... then found out DS wouldn't work with it. So we didn't buy it. We ended up with Phantom Hourglass instead, Twilight Princess later, OoT, MM, ST, LttP... and so on.

Now... I FINALLY HAVE IT!

I'll make a new entry as an update... either today or tomorrow. I try not to do two posts per day, though. But I need two separate updates for OoA and FSA. I only took two pictures of OoA, btw. One of an awesome monkey who looks a lot like the ones from MM, and then one of Impa saying, "You have a (triangle) on your left hand!" I put triangle in quotation marks because apparently they can't even bother to spell out the word and just put a picture of a triangle instead. Sheesh.

I'll sum up the updates really quick:

OoA: I found monkeys that spontaneously started disappearing when my sister yelled at them, couldn't get into Nayru because the stupid animals wouldn't move, a bear found his biggest fan, I met a tree that wanted to marry Link (ANOTHER Princess Ruto...), randomly got teleported into the present from the past without a Harp of Ages OR a portal (Idk what happened there!), found a hand in a hole (and I THINK I found what the toilets of the past look like O.o), and... a LOT of other stuff! xD

FSA: Well, I've saved three maidens already! Blue, Yellow, and Green. Btw, why is the GREEN maiden in a fire temple? I thought I was going to save the red one! And I met Epona and her clones. And Red went off on many little adventures, until I accidentally ditched him as Vio. And I found out how different this is from all the other games... and how it's an awesome combination of LttP and WW (did I already mention that?)! Oh, and Tingle iss EEEVVVIL! I HATE him! Oh wait, I hate him anyway. Whatever. O.o

NO WAY.

That isn't an excited "no way." Or an amused one. Nor sad. It's more like seriously about to scream at my DSi screen.

I haven't posted anything for a while. Know why? My stupid DSi deletes every post I write!

So I'll update soon... and reveal something AMAZING that happened to me...in the form of two new video games and a primere guide! xD

LA Update - Roc's Feather? Well, I'd prefer a cape, but...

When I saw Sydney JadeHammer, one of my best friends and fellow Zelda/Poke fans, yesterday, I could not help but tell her about my adventures in Link's Awakening. I went into excrutiating detail (okay, perhaps not) how I geniusly figured out how to get the Magic Powder (sure, it took nearly an HOUR, but...) and saved Tarin. Then I told her about the first dungeon, and, of course, my first item (which I failed at getting the first time). What's the first items? It's called Roc's Feather, and it lets you JUMP (on top of Goombas, too :P)!

When I got to this point, Sydney, who is an enormous Minish Cap fan (she adores Minish Link for some reason, and I don't even have the game, though she does xD), said, "Oh, Roc's Cape?"

Me: "Uh, no. FEATHER, Sydney. Get it right! Roc's FEATHER."

"On Minish Cap, there's Roc's Cape. I'm guessing it's the same thing. Roc's Feather lets you fly, right?"

"Wait... FLY?"

She told me about this awesome Minish Cap item that apparently lets you fly. All I got is this stupid feather that lets you jump just a LITTLE. O.o

Anyway.

I'm downloading an Oracle game now! Yeah, I know. I haven't beat Link's Awakening yet, but... I can't help it. :P I don't know which one, though. I want Seasons first to see how alike the manga is when you play Seasons then Ages, but I'd also like to see the differences when you play Ages then Seasons... if that made sense. I'm even confusing myself. -.-

I'll probably get Ages, though. Rowan wants Ages. And I want to see if Raven is actually in there.

OOH! Btw, about the update, I beat the first boss. Here's a picture of him. :P

He was HARD to beat. It gave me MAJOR deja vu to the third boss of LttP... what's his name again? Oh well. They're almost IDENTICAL! It was kind of depressing, since I hated that boss. And I hated this one. Took me FOREVER to keep from falling off the sides of the room. -.-

Now I'm in the second dungeon (after becoming an assassin! That part was TOTALLY my favorite!), and I just got the Power Bracelets. I'm missing the nightmare key... so I'm not sure what to do...

LA Update - Just some cheat codes, and... um... oops...

Remember everything I did the other day? Yeah. Well, none of it saved. O.o

Idk why! Maybe I have to save in a special way. Oh well. Doesn't matter... I was probably going to delete that file anyway, because of all the cheats I used! Yeah, you heard me right. Cheats. As in... cheat CODES.

So I'm looking at the options on the top of my computer, and then, on the drop down menu, it says "cheats". Wondering what it is, I click on it, and it gives me two options: GameShark or GameGenie. I have no clue was GameGenie is, but I knew what GameShark was! I click on it and searched the internet for codes. I got unlimited rupees, unlimited Magic Powder (after I won it from that game in town, of course), and hacked my B button so it was a hookshot instead! xD Oh, right. And I turned invincible and into Dark Link. :P

Yeah, this time I didn't feel like editing the edges out... so you'll have to click on it to see it clearly.

Annyway... then I proceeded with killing chickens. And randomly made a very choppy video of it. xD Since you're invincible as Dark Link, they couldn't hurt me when I got them REALLY angry. So I take out my shield or sword and they just push me around everywhere, rofl.

Then... I used my unlimited rupees to play the crane game and get the Magic Powder. While Dark Link the entire time. Then I bought the shovel... but for some reason, the cheat wasn't working, and I couldn't buy the bow! It was RIGHT THERE! And I was only short by thirty rupees. O.o

Other things I did that DIDN'T include hacking? Well, I got a Heart Piece! All on my own! :D

I'm so proud. :)

Oh, and here's that evil monkey that killed me in my last post!

Um... I don't feel like writing more right now. That's pretty much all I did anyway... and then it all got deleted... O.o Oh well, I don't really want a hacked shovel and Magic Powder, anyway. I want to get them myself, without cheats!

LA Update - WOOT! VBA OWNS!

I just got shipwrecked, woke up in a weird person's house (who's name is Marin) with a creepy guy who knows my name, found my sword, started screaming at the owl, met a Chain Chomp, discovered a weird banana collector, found an evil monkey that I couldn't kill, and got owned by one of its coconuts!

Ah... isn't Link's Awakening great...

Soo... I tried out the Visual Boy Advanced, Lucas! :D It is AWESOME! I can't download anymore yet. But it was SOO much fun playing Link's Awakening.

The best part of all is that, since it's on my computer, I can take screenshots! Not only that... but I can FILM it with Hypercam! :D

See, look... here's my first screenshot. I got my sword!

And here's my second! I died!

That has got to be the most EPIC Game Over screen ever! Or maybe I'm just so excited over trying this that I'm exaggerating. Yeah. Probably. :P

Now I have, what... eight Zelda games? Woot! Now all I need is Legend of Zelda, Adventure of Link, Minish Cap, Four Swords, Four Swords Adventures, and, and, and... probably others, but I can't remember!

So, why did I get this one instead of any other Zelda game? Well, I'm not sure. I just felt like it. My sister wanted Oracle of Seasons, but... well... Idk, I wanted this one. xD

Now... what else should I do? Hmm. Well, I'll get back to my game. No idea what I'm supposed to REALLY be doing... or where the first dungeon is... but maybe I can figure it out. Lucky for me, I remember the storyline. THANK YOU, ZELDAPEDIA/ZELDA WIKI! That's how I know the storylines of all the games... :D So now I have to do something about a Windfish... and collect Siren stuff... or something... okay, maybe I don't remember. :P

OH DANGIT!

I just remembered that there's a different ending if you don't die... and I just died...

Oops...

WW Update - Quest for the Triforce of Courage!

I promised yesterday that I would write about what happened while I attempted to get the Triforce pieces and charts before seeing that annoying cutscene (see last entry). I should start from the beginning, right? Well... there's no way I'll be able to go in order with this, because honestly, not much of it was very sequential... and if it was, I can't remember it very well. So what DID happen first? Um... well...

Remember this post? Rofl, if you do, you've been paying attention to this blog longer than I have! xD I didn't care about the blog when I wrote this one entry... and no one read it anyway. I mean, hellooo! It was written May 2009! And most of the information is outdated in that post. I FINALLY found that bottle. xD Anyway, the reason I'm bringing this back up NOW is because it mentions the first time I got the Hero's Charm! Yeah... I recently found out it was Hero's CHARM, not mask... whatever, it looks more like a mask anyway. But on this file, it just became my SECOND file with the Hero's Charm! :D So I put it on... and then thought it was just SO ugly, I took it off, deciding I would only use it if there were enemies nearby. Besides... I had NEVER actually used it before. EVER. Not even on my other file... well, that one's obvious, because I beat the game already on there.

We'll get back to that later. After that I got more interested in TP, OoT, MM, ST, PH, LttP... wait, I just named all my other games... O.o So, as a result, I didn't play Wind Waker for a loong time. Like... an entire three months! O:

When I finally DID get back on (about a week ago, lol), I found an uncompleted Sea Chart, only two Triforce Charts found and NO pieces obtained, and an extreme need of rupees to get Tingle to decipher my charts for me. Ugh.

I checked my IN-credible chart (why is the 'in' capitalized? I never got that...) to see where some Triforce Charts were. To my surprise, quite a few of them were on the islands I hadn't yet charted. I set off toward the Southwest corner of the sea, where the most areas were missing, with lots of bait for the fishmen. I filled up that part of the chart, and collected two more charts. Nothing REALLY interesting happened... until I arrived at Diamond Steepe Island (at least I THINK that was what it was called xD). My Tingle Chart said nothing about a Triforce Chart on it, so I was about to ignore it... until the fishmen there mentioned something about the Ghost Ship. He said there was something on the island that would make it not "disappear" when you get close. I knew what that was.

I hookshotted on to some trees to get up to the top of the island and fell into the dark and mysterious hole there. Inside I found a dungeon that I recognized very, VERY well. Mostly I just recalled how much TROUBLE this had given me the first time I tried it! You have to jump into little warping pots that bring you to a new location. There's three (sometimes two) other pots in each room. Only one goes to the next area... the other two lead back to the entrance. As you can imagine, it was NOT fun having to do trial and error all the time... all the while, avoiding Floormasters... the cousins of my least favorite Zelda enemy, Wallmasters. At long last I reached the top floor, killed the Floormaster (hmm, arrows work surprisingly well on them) and GOT THE GHOST SHIP CHART! YAAAAY!

Well... I'll have to edit this... again... figures. I didn't even get to the Savage Labyrinth and how mad I was about the Hero's Charm thing...

Gods: You're the Hero of Winds! Me: *yawn*

You know what my favorite cutscene used to be in Wind Waker? ...Okay, I take that back. My favorite is the cutscene where Medli is awakened as Sage. And my second favorite is the one where you put the last pearl on the Triangle Islands. And my third favorite is when Tetra finds out she's Zelda. And of course I love the perfect ending cutscenes.

So... fifth favorite? I guess.

Anyway, it's the cutscene where you FINALLY get all those dang Triforce pieces (the worst part of the best game). I don't know WHAT they were thinking when they put that part in... maybe some reference to the first game, where you need the 8 pieces of the Triforce of Wisdom?

Once you get all the Triforce of Courage pieces, it automatically opens your collection screen and shows the Triforce pieces glowing and then combining. So I warped to the Tower of the Gods to see the awesome cutscene that I love (I mean, USED TO) so much. It goes something like... the King of Red Lions (your personal talking boat/Navi impersonator) instructs Link to take out the Triforce and show the Gods so that they can go back into Hyrule. The portal thingy opens in the middle of the ocean, but Link looks down and the Triforce has disappeared, and the design is now on his hand. The King of Red Lions claims that this is proof that he's the hero, and declares that he will now be known as the Hero of Winds. Sweetness, right? It's like... almost as awesome as Hero of Time. Or Hero of Twilight. Or Hero of Hyrule. Yeah.

The gods (or someone, never been quite clear on who, but I always assumed it was the gods) say, "Link! Hero of Winds!" and then we go down into the portal thing. We go into Hyrule, head into the castle (the broken Link statue always makes me think twice about if I actually want to do this or not xD), go into the basement place, see Zelda disappear, fight two Darknuts... and so on. Oh. The Darknuts reminded me of something... xD I'll say that later.

So where were we? Oh, right.

Why do I hate this cutscene now?

Because this is probably the BILLIONTH time I've seen it!!!

It's starting to get ANNOYING! I've memorized everything they say (almost). I've seen it a zillion times... because a while back, I was trying to FILM this cutscene on my cell phone (like I do with all my favorites) all the way to the ending where you finish Ganon's Tower (or, if I had time, Ganondorf himself). The problem was, every time, SOMETHING WENT WRONG! I'm not even going to bother explaining what happened. But... now I resent watching this cutscene. The worst part is that I forgot to save after I beat the Darknuts. XDDD Told you I'm terrible at that...

So why did I make this entire entry based on this?

...Idk...

Next up (tomorrow) I'll explain my adventures as I tried to GET the Triforce charts/pieces in the first place! A lot of funny/interesting things happened... including getting the Hero's Mask AGAIN (that was my second entry EVER on the blog! O:) but forgetting about it... doing the ENTIRE Savage Labyrinth (it has over 100 floors, ugh)... completing my sea chart (finally!)... getting 300 hits on the Orca and becoming a "swordsman" (after a LOT of times doing it, and getting annoyed by Link's yells every time I pressed "B")... and even doing a random seagull glitch because I was bored.

So stay tuned! xD

EDIT: OOH! OOH! I JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING! I got all Heart Containers on Phantom Houglass! Yay... DS Zelda games are just too easy...

I'm aiming for all Sand of Hours next... and then completing the Temple of the Ocean King with ALL that time!

Umm...

Well, I have no time to make an update, but I just wanted people to know I'm here. So... yeah. :)

OoT Update... but...

Tonight I can't play Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, Twilight Princess, and PROBABLY not even Wind Waker. Why? Because I got grounded from the Wii. :( Isn't it strange that by taking away just ONE of my gaming systems, you eliminate at least four Zelda games? Geez. Wind Waker will probably not be available either, because my sister will be playing Brawl (it's kinda how I got grounded... I wouldn't let her play Brawl... O.o) and she always uses the Game Cube controller (because of Melee, but I've grown used to the Wii/Nunchuck, so I use that instead). That leaves three others for me to use... but... the TV that our Game Cube is connected to is MUCH bigger than the one for our Wii - and it has better sound quality, picture quality... in fact, the only things I don't like is I can't film stuff on my cell phone on it because it's too high up (it's in some kind of TV case-shelf thing) and that the brightness settings are kind of messed up (it's IMPOSSIBLE to play Twilight Princess with all the dark surroundings... and I was even having trouble seeing when it was night on WW!). So... remember how I said it was high up? That means that I can't use the wired controllers with it. We have four controllers: two wired, two wireless. So I need the wireless ones. Problem? Well, over time, one of our wireless ones has started messing up occasionally - it will randomly start thinking you're pressing left. It happened a LOT when we were playing with Paige and Taryn yesterday to my sister using the controller. Marth kept randomly going to the side. xD It gave White Link (me!) the points though, so I'm happy. :P

...Ummm... yeah...

So, all I can do is Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks (and POSSIBLY WW).

Nooow... should I start the update?

Well, on OoT, I was trying to complete the Spirit Temple (again :D). I had JUST gotten the Silver Gauntlets as a kid. Oh, it was funny when the owl saw me. I started screaming at him, mostly to amuse Taryn who was in the room with us, and because I just hate him and have ever since I first saw him on the game (I'm serious. I even declared I hated him when I first met him). The least favorite thing he says is anything about "courage and determination". He would NOT stop emphasizing that in Majora's Mask in Snowpeak... and I had to watch it TWICE because of my failures in saving. I wanted to punch the TV our that time. And I wanted to tear up Sydney's story when Falmea in her story said to her, "You have great courage and determination, Sydney." XD

Anyway, THIS time, he said, "You've really matured into an adult, Link!" And I'm thinking, Um, you're saying this to a little kid... and, btw, I'm wearing the Bunny Hood... very mature... xD

Oh, yeah. I worked on the Mask Shop sidequest. I was planning on finishing it up for the Mask of Truth, but I couldn't figure out where the Bunny Hood goes. And I STILL don't know. I've forgotten. For some reason, I think I recall giving it to some guy in Hyrule Field, but that doesn't make sense. There's no one out there...

Besides, I'm still a bit reluctant to help out the Happy Mask Salesman after what happened in Termina...

LttP Update... update? Oh, and WW Ghost Ship.

I updated my update below. Um, that sounds weird. Anyway, uh... I didn't do any Zelda stuff last night AT ALL. I only got ten minutes of trying to Brawl over Wi-Fi, but I kept getting disconnected. But earlier this week I did play Wind Waker for just a little, and I got four Triforce charts and the Ghost Ship Chart. Ugh, our stupid game disk is SO old, and our GameCube is too (yeah, I played it on the GC instead of Wii 'cuz I felt like it) so it kept bringing up that message saying: "The game disk could not be read. Please refer to the Nintendo Game Cube manual for instructions." All you have to do it open the thing up and close it again, but it was annoying. And Beedle is a curse - it happened EVERY time I left or went inside his shop. Same as the place you get the Ghost Ship Chart - every time I went into a new pot, I had to open and close the Game Cube. O.o

I also got into the Ghost Ship, but my game turned off so it didn't save that. -.- Btw, on the wall above the treasure chest where the Triforce chart is, there's this creepy green picture. From far away it looks like an old man, but the closer you get to it, it looks like a younger man. If you stand far away and slowly zoom in on it with the telescope, you can see the transformation. o.O

You know what was funny? I have my entire sea chart completed except for THREE ISLANDS in the north-eastern corner. Guess what? Out of all those islands, the ghost ship just HAD to appear at one of those three during a full moon. So I talked to the fish before going into the ghost ship there to get one more island mapped out, and the fish tells me, "Don't come here when the moon is full, unless you like extreme terror! That's when IT appears!" And... the Ghost Ship was right behind him... what an idiot. O.o

LttP Update - O. M. G.

I BEAT GANON!

...That was unexpected, huh?

...Why do I always do that?

...I mean, I always put a starting sentence, and then a paragraph, and then continue on with the rest of the post...

Yeah...

So...

Okay! So, yeah, I like, defeated Ganon. Twice. Yeah, only twice. I was 1) too lazy to do it more times 2) too short on money to buy potions for the battle 3) HATE the pits of death around the boss room and 4) Ganon IS ANNOYING. But, hey, I got the Triforce twice. Yipee!

This is probably totally random to most of you but WHAT THE HECK?!?! I just wrote a big long entry here on my DSi and NONE OF IT SAVED! Except that first part, because I wrote that on my computer earler today. UGH! I had been writing for HALF AN HOUR! I was already mad because my DSi's memory wouldn't let me type anymore, but now THIS?!

...Weeelll...

I guess you'll just have to wait until I edit this tomorrow, because I'm SO not rewriting that tonight. Just wait for the edit, I guess - it will come soon enough! ;)

EDIT: Guess what? It came!

So... I'll try to write from memory what I wrote last time...

Ganon was fun, but HARD. Should I describe the EPIC fight? I'll start from when I got to the top of Ganon's Tower (at least I THINK it was the top... I mean, I don't think I was climbing DOWN...). And for those of you who haven't done this, I'll go into enough detail that most people (even some non-Zelda fans... possibly...) can understand!

I go into the boss room of Ganon's Tower, and guess who I find in there? AGAHNIM! He's the boss I fought in Hyrule Castle earlier. As if he wasn't bad enough ONCE. -.- And you know what's even more GREAT? He's got friends! He makes clones of himself, so now you have to defend against his attacks AND his clones! Worse: I ONLY HAD TWO HEARTS AND A HALF - and no potions or faeries to heal me. I was sure I was doomed.

Then a miracle happened: I somehow defeated him with HALF A HEART LEFT! O:

As he is defeated, he collapses to the ground and out of him comes, to my astonishment, the one and only GANON! He turns into a bat... and I think he flew away. My little ducky buddy comes and he flies me away to the Pyramid of Power, the main area of the Dark World. Now there's an ENORMOUS hole in the top of it. Despite the fact that I'm confused and somewhat stunned that I was suddenly faced with Ganon/batman and whisked out of the tower without warning and half a heart, I had no doubt that if I fell down there I would begin the boss battle... and with half a heart, seal my doom.

So I face the newly formed hole, take a deep breath... and warp to the Light World with the Magic Mirror to get the heck out of there. xD Yeah, there's no way I'm risking it. Even if I managed to miraculously defeat Agahinim again, I wasn't so sure Ganon would be as easy. I needed to prepare.

I use my Flute and duck to fly to the Potion Shop. Using the "free sample" the assistant gives me, I filled up my hearts all the way (phew, don't have to worry about dying every second anymore) and bought two blue potions. Why only two if I have four bottles? Well, one bottle still has some Green Potion in it, and I'm out of rupees. O.o Instead, I replaced the missing potion with a fairy.

Okay. Now I'm ready.

I hurry to Hyrule Castle and go through the gate, which warps me to the Dark World. I climb up the Pyramid, to the very top. This time, I jump into the hole.

I land in a tiled room with a giant Triforce-design in the center. And, of course, Ganon's there. He says some boring speech that basically says I'm awesomer than he thought I was. :P He confidently explains that he's still going to win. AS IF! The battle begins. With my full health, I decided that I could go to the back of the room and start shooting sword-beams at him. Aaannd... nothing happened. They bounced off him! Surprised, I then take out the Magic Boomerang. Same result. Fire Rod does the same. Then, I'm SURE the Silver Arrows will work - aren't they his weakness? But NO! They have the same effect.

So what DO I do if none of my weapons work?

I walk right over to him and pound B like crazy, slashing my sword as much as quickly as I could. Luckily, THAT works. Apparently you have to be right next to him to do any damage. O.o He throws his trident thing (which looks suspiciously like the one on the entrance to the fourth dungeon) at me, which spins around and comes back to him like a boomerang, while he moves around the room, sometimes at really fast speeds so I have to follow him to hurt him.

Eventually, he changes tatics. He spins his trident but doesn't throw it. Instead, fireballs form around him in a circle. Then they shoot out, covering more than half the room. They retract back, and turn into firey bats that fly out at me. The fireballs aren't hard... but the bats are so fast, they're nearly IMPOSSIBLE to avoid.

He again tries something different. A singular fire-bat forms and starts flying in a circle, leaving a trail of fire behind. Then he jumps up and lands with a loud "THUMP" that makes the tiles around the edge of the room fall, making large pits. After all four sides of the room's tiles have fallen, he informs me that he's using his attack of "darkness" or something. Um, okay. The lights suddenly go out, and Ganon disappears while a random fire bat shoots at me from seemingly no where. I light the two torches again with my Fire Rod, and Ganon reappears. I whack him with my sword... and he turns blue. Uh... so I shot him with a Silver Arrow, he gets hurt, and then the lights go out again. I did this about four times... and then guess what? His bat hits me... and I FELL.

I don't know what I was expecting when I fell into the holes surrounding the room. I probably thought I'd lose a heart and appear up on the platform again. But nooo, it has to be HARDER than that. I land in a strange room. At the bottom of a room is a door, leading into ANOTHER room, and ANOTHER door that I go out of. Guess where I am? OUTSIDE OF THE PYRAMID. This means... what?

I HAVE TO DO GANON ALL OVER AGAIN.

Worse of all, I already used up a potion in battle! And if you recall... I'm still out of money. I was forced to play the Treasure Chest game and the digging game to get some cash.

Finally, I do it again, and I RAN OUT OF MAGIC. I was forced to throw myself off the side to restart the fight and get magic to light the torches.

Ugh... I'm out of time again. I'll explain what happens after I beat the boss tomorrow. Isn't that great? ;)

EDIT: Ookay!

After many, many, MANY times where I fell (it was nearing 20) I finally shot that last Silver Arrow, AND GANON BLEW UP! xD

A bridge formed across the put of death to the North of the room. I crossed it, and inside I found three glowing triangle - THE TRIFORCE! Omgness! I got them all! Usually I only get Courage but this time I got ALL THREE... WOOT!

Aaand... then the credits go rolling. Hooray. At the end it said how many "games" I had played. I'm not sure what that meant - how many times you entered the dungeon, maybe? Anyway, Skull Dungeon had the most at 24. xD Desert Palace had second most, and Ganon's Tower had third most (big surprise there). Amazingly, Misery Mire had the least at only two. Oh, wait... it was actually Hyrule Castle basement or whatever at one. Lol, only needed to save Zelda once. :P It said I'd played exactly 99 games total. Sweetness. I just needed one more for ONE HUNDRED! 8D

Sooo... that's it! It was awesome, but the pits still made it annoyingly hard. O.o

Random Zelda updates of no specific game.

Why? Because I pretty much did nothing on any one game, but did I ton of things on all my Zelda games together.

First, A Link to the Past (LttP) - Well, um, I STILL can't find the Heart Piece. But guess what? I found this super awesome glitch! Two, actually. Well, one isn't a glitch, it's an... easter egg. I think that's what they're called. XD It's the Chris Houlihan trick... anyone know about it? It only works on the SNES version - and the Wii version is exactly that! (TAKE THAT, SYDNEY!) You have to start from the Sanctuary and run as fast as you can to the pathway that you took to visit Zelda. Then you fall into a room with a ton of Rupees and a telepathic plate that tells you it's Chris's room. Lucky guy. He won some Nintendo contest. I want to be in a Zelda game! XDD The second is the "Ghost of Misery Mire" glitch. Ooh. Spooky. :D It's an invisible enemy in the area outside of Misery Mire. I had LOTS of fun with this one. xD

Second, Twilight Princess (TP)! - I DID THE AWESOME MAP GLITCH. It was soooo much fun, besides the fact that all three times I did it, I ended up having to restart my Wii for one reason or another. It's so much fun. All you have to do is get a bottle of water, and press that and your map button (1) at the same time. Link will empty the bottle, and then, at JUST the right moment, you press up to talk to Midna. You warp on the map, and then, if you got the timing right, Midna will talk to you, preventing you from warping. The first two times I did it, it was in Kakariko Village. With this glitch, you can't exit the area unless you warp, so if you get on Epona, you can go on this strange empty whiteness and just keep running. I ran so far out, I couldn't see Kakariko in the background anymore! O: It was scary, so I turned back. XD

Third, Spirit Tracks (ST) - Umm... actually, I did nothing on here. Besides changing my train front back to normal. I missed my old train whistle. O.o

Fourth, Majora's Mask (MM) - I did a lot on here! Like... in the course of the three days, I defeated all the bosses! Including Twinmold - who I hate, remember? I did it without the unlimited Magic Power, too! It wasn't hard though. Fierce Deity helps quite a bit. :P And after that, I did the unthinkable... I FOUGHT MAJORA WITHOUT FEIRCE DEITY MASK. Yeah, I know. I'm crazy. I ran out of arrows, and used three fairies, but I DID IT! :D It was HARD. Especially the whip guy - I never knew it (I killed him fast enough that it never came to this XD) but he sends out these annoying spinning spike thingys at you! They hurt!

Fifth, Ocarina of Time (OoT) - Yeah, so I completed that Forest Temple. And I got my bow. :D YAY! And, by the way, Phantom Ganon is so epic the second time. I couldn't even remember the fight my first time (except for the fact that I kept DYING on it) but this time it was so much fun! Mostly because I knew what to do, lolz.

Uhh... yeah, there's probably more, but I can't remember it. So, that's all for now!

LttP Update - WHERE THE HECK IS MY HEART PIECE?!?!?!

I can't find it anywhere! :(

Well... I suppose I should begin by saying which temple I'm in.

Ganon's Tower. O.o

Now that that's out of the way, I'll explain my angry title. No, I take that back. My FRUSTRATED title.

I just saved Zelda at Turtle Rock by defeating the evil monster Trinexx after an EPIC fight. :D It was lots of fun - I've never really bothered using my Ice Rod before that boss. Anyway, Zelda tells me it's time to head to Ganon's Tower (btw, someone confirm this: do you SERIOUSLY get the Triforce at the end?! O:). First, I want to get more potions/faeries. FYI: I am the WORST LttP player ever. I am saying this literally: I have not completed a single temple without getting a Game Over.

I fail at this game. xD

Adventure of Link? Never tried it, but it can't be that hard! Majora's Mask? Hah! No problem! Ocarina of Time? Might have taken a few walkthroughs, but I made it through without dying all the time. A Link to the Past? ...I don't think so.

Sorry about the ranting! Ummm... where was I...

Right. So, returning to the Light World with the Magic Mirror, I use my awesome ducky buddy (is it just me, or does that "flute" look like an Ocarina?) to fly to the Potion Shop. Then I fly to the Mountain Passage to get heart refills and some faeries in the caves up there.

It is there that it occurs to me: I have to use my good ol' reliable walkthrough to tell me where my last Heart Pieces are! Yeah, that's right. I'll admit it. Not EVERYTHING I've completed on LttP has been because of my awesomness. In between every dungeon, I use a very helpful walkthrough that tells me where all the Heart Pieces are!

I locate them all, ecstatic that I'm about to get all the Heart Pieces. I even went all the way back into the infamous Turtle Rock to get one I had forgotten!

So I reach Heart Piece #24... and realize something's wrong.

Why do I still have a quarter of a heart missing in that final Heart Container?

...Oh dangit...

Yes, folks. I'm missing a Heart Piece. And trust me, that is NOT good - not good AT ALL.

Tell me: why the HECK did it have to be the LAST Heart Piece? Why can't I just randomly not be able to find one halfway through the game? I NEED FULL HEARTS TO FIGHT GANON! It just won't be the same without them! That's why I've been using this stupid walkthrough in the first place!

I scan through the walkthrough, reading all the descriptions on how to get each individual Heart Piece. I'VE DONE ALL OF IT ALREADY!

I was so heartbroken - pun intended :P - that I went ALL the way back to Heart Piece number one. Guess what? I hastily do what it says. Turn on the water in Watergate Light World temple, go outside, and find the Heart Piece. As I expected, it wasn't there. Why? I ALREADY HAD IT. I do the same thing with numbers two and three and four... on and on and on. The only thing I DIDN'T try were the two that you find from the digging game and the Treasure Chest game. Desperate, I hurried to the Village of Outcasts and wasted a whole lot of Rupees in an attempt to find my last Heart Piece.

IT'S. NOT. THERE!

Without a choice, I braved Ganon's Tower anyway. :(

...On a happier note, I got the Red Mail! I'm Red Link now! And, in honor of Four Swords manga, I took out my Fire Rod and started shooting it everywhere when I got it. :D The weird thing is... my hat's purple. Am I Vio or Red? Huh. Guess I get to use the Bow AND the Fire Rod/Ice Rod! :D

As I was heading through the tower, I landed in a strange room. The floor was covered in ice, and two doors were sealed on either side. I walk around, and the suddenly the Armos fall from the sky! Remember: it's the first boss I fought! Later I ran into Twinmold's cousin - what's his name again? Lanmolas or something? Anyway, I easily kill him with my superly awesome powered up Golden Sword, despite having an annoying fireball-shooting statue after me. Actually, Armos was even easier - I just so happened to have JUST drank a potion (lucky timing on my part, because I had NO idea the boss was down there!) so I had full health. Full health means LAZER SHOOTING SWORD BEAMS! :D ...Bascically, I just stood there pressing the B button. I don't think I even moved once. O.o

I still miss my Heart Piece. :(

Umm... other news!

Well, this isn't Zelda, but HeartGold and SoulSilver came out a little while ago. My sister got it the day it came out because it's her birthday on the 21st. :( NOT FAIR! Really! First of all: when ST came out, I DIDN'T GET IT ON THE FIRST DAY! If anyone read my blog when I was counting down the days to get it, I got all excited because my copy was preordered, AND THEN THEY DIDN'T GET IT UNTILL THE NEXT DAY! Ugh. I wanted SoulSilver, but... I'd have to spend my money on it. I'm actually saving up for Zelda Wii, soo... that's not an option.

OH! RIGHT! I just remembered a few things.

1. I MIGHT buy a GameBoy - I'm desperate for Four Swords and/or Minish Cap!

2. I'm going to get a Zelda T-shirt! It's totally awesome. It says, "Don't make me go Zelda on you!" XD

3. I started over my sister's file, but because of it, she forced me to title the file "Doggy". O.o Usually my second file is called Link, but... well... I had to settle for this less-epic name or she wouldn't let me do it.

4. For no reason whatsoever, I fought Ganondorf again on Twilight Princess and filmed it on my cell phone.

5. For no reason whatsoever, I went into the boss battle on Spirit Tracks, got bored and turned it off.

6. For no reason whatsoever, I am telling you boring stuff that no one cares about.

And that's all! xD (dang, that was a LOOONG post.)

My first ever You Tube edit!

It's of Ganondorf screaming while Walking on Sunshine plays. Isn't that great?

Heh heh... you cannot IMAGINE how hard it was for me to make this! At first, Zelda kept randomly appearing in between screens! And then I tried adding effects, and some turned out all wrong. Some you couldn't even notice.

At least it turned out pretty good. I thought it was hilarious. :D

So... it's of Twilight Princess - the ending, just as Link stabs Ganondorf with the Master Sword. Ooh... and there's a random Zant at the end. I threw that in just for fun. ;)

PLEASE watch it! I SO could use the views!

TP Update - Back in Time Glitch!

Yeah, this isn't Twilight Princess, but on Spirit Tracks, I GOT ALL THE HEART CONTAINERS! YAY! I was so so so happy. It is officially my first game I ever got ALL the Heart Containers on. Yes!

Now... Back in Time...

It was AWESOME! And it happened by complete accident!

A little while ago, I tried this glitch on my main file, the first one I completed. However, I could NOT do it on there. I tried so many times, and failed every one of them. So I gave up, deciding that my new, boring "Link" file that was still in Ordon would EVENTUALLY make it there, and I'd do it.

My dream came true!

Link is no longer in Ordon. In fact, he's in the Temple of Time. But I didn't get there until I did Arbiter's Grounds (and Snowpeak), of course! That's where this glitch started.

I began the glitch, doing exactly what you're suppose to do: Run into that annoying little quicksand hole, fall in, and press home menu and reset the game just as Link is going under. Timing is VERY important on this glitch. And I could not get the timing right. O.o Besides, I thought that this might mess up your file. Arbiter's Grounds is pretty far, so I was reluctant to destroy this file (then again, if I started it over, I could make a walkthrough! :D). I pressed on anyway.

It didn't work. -.-

Finally, I gave up, deciding I'd just go through the stage like you're suppose to. I went along, hookshotted that wall, jumped across those platforms, ignored the worm things that jump out of the sand (they're ANNOYING!), and hurried across the quicksand to that cahin-switch.

Here is where it REALLY began. I totally forgot that you're suppose to hookshot the chain to bring it toward you, THEN pull. So I went in the quicksand. I start sinking, but I grab the switch and try to pull, hoping I can make it back to the platform with it. Then, everything gets worse: two of those little mini-Skeleton guys pop out of the sand and start stabbing me! I'm sinking quickly, and I have no choice. I let go of the switch and desperately try to make it back tothe platform. I didn't make it.

Frustrated, I watch as Link starts to go under the quicksand, the Skeleton guys still surrounding me. Grr... I hate those guys...

Partially because of anger, partially because I didn't want to lose a heart, and partially (but a VERY small amount) because I was hoping the glitch might work, I reset the game.

As you can guess, the Back in Time glitch activated.

I was on the bridge of Eldin: no hearts, no items, NOTHING. From what I have read on YouTube and such, you end up here because you restarted the game as your sprite is loading up, so you find yourself in the title screen. Yes!

Stunned, I rushed to find my sister making some weird signature for some person. I bring her into the room and I start filming this entire spectacle. Maybe one day I'll post it on here.

After my sister and I debated on what we should do, I jumped off the edge of the bridge. When I respawned, I found myself on the bridge again. I only had three hearts, like at the beginning of the game, and only one was left. My items were all gone too: I only had my sword remaining.

I jumped off again, receiving a "GAME OVER." :( Then, when I started up again, I was STILL on the Bridge of Eldin, but this time, a cutscene began! It was the King Bulbin cutscene, from when I had to rescue Colin. Epona rode up, but Link was not on her back. It stared at above her for a while, where I'm guessing it was showing Link. Then the cutscene proceeds on, and then, when it ends, I'm back on the bridge still. I try to get out for a little, until a bulbin from across the bridge charges at me. O.o I jump off to escape.

Now when I come back, I'm on Epona! Yay! Now I can pwn King Bulbin! I do so (failing a few times on the Eldin showdown - I've never been good at this, and with only three hearts, it's HARD) and see the epic pose again! YAY!

Then, for some really, really, REALLY strange reason, the cutscene where Colin wakes up begins: AND WE'RE IN THE TWILIGHT REALM.

Umm... okay... weird...

The music kind of sounded funny, too, creepy twilight music overlapping the peaceful song that is SUPPOSE to come with the cutscene.

It ends, and guess what? I'M STILL IN TWILIGHT! And I'm LINK! Not any stupid wolf! Even better: MIDNA'S GONE! YES!

The light spirit isn't there; I checked. I ran off to try and blow up that one house. It was the only place that I could remember some of the Tears of Light were at.

When I arrived, I found, to my dismay, that the house was ALREADY blown up! Aww! Oddly, though, it seemed like there was an invisible wall surrounding the house, so I couldn't get to the tears. I crawled in through the entry that Wolf Link is suppose to go through, ending up in a fully built house. Weird... so I set the thing on fire, the bugs run around, the house starts blowing up - and Midna THEN decides to come back, informing me that she's... leaving me again. To die, this time. Ugh. My partner is SO useless in this game. xD

I start to head out the little Wolf Link hole again, but my sister commands me to go out the door instead. So I listen.

I wish SO much that I hadn't.

My game froze up! I was stuck in this REALLY weird place that was, like, in the sky. I couldn't see Link anywhere. It was all twilight still. I couldn't skip it - I tried MANY times.

So... yeah... that ended our reign of fun. :(

THANKS A LOT, ROWAN!

LttP Update - I. HATE. WALLMASTERS.

I haven't even gotten three rooms into the Skull Dungeon and I ALREADY DESPISE THEM.

I've hated them AND Floormasters ever since Wind Waker! They stole Medli from me on there, and trapped her in a cage! :( They even pulled ME to the front of the dungeon once or twice! Then they were even WORSE on Ocarina. Wallmasters pwn you on there. I always forget about them, and then, even though their shadow gives me a hint, they STILL manage to grab me. Happened more than once in the Gibdos place on Majora's Mask, when you have to run around giving them stuff they want.

Fortunately, I can't remember any on Twilight Princess... hmm...

Now I find that they're all over the Skull Dungeon on A Link to the Past. Worse, they don't even bother giving you a good hint. They're shadow comes over you RIGHT before they attack. Ugh.

Weeeelllll... I've basically done nothing else on A Link to the Past. Huh. Maybe this should be a Twilight Princess update. I've done SO much more on there, mostly because I actually KNOW what to do. Really. I'm thinking about making a walkthrough of this game - I've almost MEMORIZED the temples! I want to beat this file, then I'm going to start it over and do a walkthrough.

OH! OH! OH! I JUST REMEMBERED SOMETHING AWESOME I DID!

I did the BEST glitch in ALL of Zelda history! ...Maybe. Early Master Sword is pretty great, too, and some amazing OoT glitches...

STILL!

I did the... BACK IN TIME GLITCH!

Well... but this is a Link to the Past update... xD

I'll write it later.

LttP Update - Pwning some monsters, saving some maidens, getting magical capes, and other stuffs. :P

First of all, read my below post. I edited it for more information on Zelda Wii. ;)

REAL POST:

I just made a HUGE mistake. I challenged Hunter ThunderShield to a Link to the Past race! Now I have to try and complete the whole game before he does! Worst of all, I was an idiot and challenged him to this when he has already saved the fourth maiden! Just last night, I saved the second... when I challenged him, I HADN'T! I'm way behind him!

Hmm... well... guess that's what walkthroughs are for! :D

No, just kidding. I try to only use walkthroughs when I REALLY need them, lolz... which IS most of the time, but still... xD

Now for the update.

I saved the second maiden! And, in case I didn't mention this, I saved the first one, too! I found out that the boss I couldn't defeat was called "Helmasaur King". I guess I really good at guessing names of these guys or something - remember, I said that he was like the "Helmaroc King"? And then there was that time on Twilight Princess with that spider boss that I said, "That looks like Ghoma!" and its name was "Armoghoma"...

Then I went through the second temple (Watergate), and I eventually made it to the boss. Unlike other games, the bosses of ALttP are actually HARD. I couldn't beat him, even when I went in with full health. So I finally decided to go out of my way, and I caught two fairies in bottles AND made sure I had full health when I went in. THEN I beat him. :P

Then I got the magic cape through this "glitch" that lets you get it before you get the Titan Mitts. Yay! :D

Random: Isn't it strange that my last post said that the bunny wasn't very cute, but I didn't even mention the bunny? Hmm. Wait... did I mention the bunny? I don't think I did... O.o

Now I'm going to that third one. It's called Skull Palace or something, I think. Haha, all I know is that it's where the Master Sword is in the Light World. I wonder if the cute animals are still there... :P

ZELDA WII!

Another new Zelda game is coming out! Okay... I've known this for a while. I just keep forgetting to post. But now I'm doing it! Yay! :D

From what I've heard, there isn't an official name for it yet besides, "Legend of Zelda." We have to wait to hear the real title, I guess. There also isn't anything besides one boring picture, in which Link has no sword and is accompanied by some weird fating girl that many think resembles the Master Sword or the Fairy Queen on Wind Waker.

Um... thats all I can say! I'll edit this later! O.o

EDIT: Sry bout that! But I'm back now. :D

Okay... so, I've heard LOTS of rumors (and got lots of Rick Rolls on YouTube xD), but nothing is confirmed. The only thing I have heard for sure is that it will be played with the Wii MotionPlus.

GASP!

Yes, you heard me right! WII MOTION PLUS!

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's an attachment to your Wii remote that makes it match your moves EXACTLY. Now, folks, if the Wii remote is accurately going to match your every move, what do you think that means? Link won't have preset moves... and YOU will be the swordfighter!

There, I said it! I've just reported why I'm never going to complete Zelda Wii... because I STINK at swordplay. It's easy in TP - you shake your Wii remote and Nunchuck around a bit, and Link goes wildly crazy pwning those enemies. But in this game? Nooooo. Plus, how are you EVER going to do a Spin attack? xD

Btw... this game will supposedly be ready by the end of the year. As much as I would LOVE to be optimistic, I doubt that. They don't even have a title yet... unless they do, but they just haven't told us... O:

LttP Update - Well, the "bunny" wasn't as cute as I thought it would be...

Remember how I kept saying, "I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE LINK AS A BUNNY!" ...Yeah, it wasn't so great. And it was only, like, two times that I saw him that way until I got the Moon Pearl.

So, if I have the Moon Pearl, what do you think that means?

I GOT THE MASTER SWORD!

Had some fun throwing the fake ones around... just like my sister was talking about... xD

And then I got the REAL one!

And I got the Ether Medallion and Quake Medallion! Although I have no clue what they do, besides some really awesome move that makes me think of Din's Fire, Farore's Wind, and Nayru's Love from OoT.

So... Moon Pearl... Master Sword... beat that ANNOYING third boss... ugh. He gave me deja vu to Twinmold on Majora's Mask, and that is NOT good memories! Well, until I got the Chateau Romani it wasn't, at least. Now Chateau Romani is my best friend, especially when doing the Fierce Deity glitch (which I do quite frequently).

Oh! AND I beat Agahinim! Now, Agahinim... how do you think you pronounce his name? Meh, well, my friends and I kind of have an inside joke with his name, because of the odd way I pronounced it the first time I saw it. I said something like a-god-HEE-nam! Now I always say the HE part really, really loudly. xD

So, I'm in the Dark World, trying to save the first Maiden. I made it all the way to the boss (meaning I have Hammer now! Yay!), but I'm stuck. I CANNOT beat this guy. He is TOTALLY like Helmoroc King on Wind Waker - which makes me wonder if all the bosses in later games are based on LttP ones. Helmoroc King is EASY, but this guy - he's impossible! I keep dying, even when I went in with a fairy and full health! Grr... I know WHAT to do (whack him with your hammer until his shield breaks, then hit him with a few arrows), I JUST CAN'T DO IT!

So... I got the Magic Boomerang, too, which just makes the best item in the entire game better! And that awesome shield. And... uh... ooh! Master Sword PWNS! I can shoot lasers! :D

That's it... xD

I wrote Zelda!

LOOK! I did this all on my Word document! I WROTE ZELDA WITH DOTS AND SLASHES AND LINES! xD

It was SO much fun. I was inspired by the Wind Waker tutorial that helped us out the first time we ever played through the game (because we were SUCH noobs at solving Zelda puzzles, although once we were past the Forsaken Fortress we were pretty good). At the top, they had something very similar to this.

There are two reasons I did not post it on here like it is, and instead posted it like a picture. First of all, I didn't want people copying and pasting and stealing it (MINE! xD). Second, it didn't look right on here. ...What? You want to see what it looks like on blogger? Okay...

I'm obviously not a very good video game player....

I had a night full of Zelda... yet accomplished NOTHING.

Actually... two nights. I'll just pretend it's one night, though. xD

I played Spirit Tracks first - but, really, what more can I do on there? The only sidequest I haven't completed is the guy in Aboda who asks for 10 Cuccoos, but I don't get it, because I can only take him 5 at a time.

Then I sulkily played Wind Waker, on one file that I had started a while ago. I didn't have anything to do. Paige - Taryn's sister - was watching me again. So, to entertain her, I killed the Killer Bees - a glitch where you push these totally annoying little kids into a wall, and then they fall through and don't come back up unless you exit the area. I couldn't get the leader, though. xD

Next up was A Link to the Past. Hunter ThunderShield (Sydney's brother who has almost completed the game) told me you CAN'T kill those annoying things. So... I'm stuck...

Then I went over to Ocarina of Time. I kind of just wandered around, because I am still stumped with the Forest Temple.

Finally, I went with Twilight Princess. Still, nothing really happened. I don't like Arbiter's Grounds - it's a long story (read my old posts for a couple of hints xD). It's my least favorite dungeon, so I'm not all that eager to go for it. Instead, I tried to do that glitch with infinite bombs and arrows, which I have gotten really, really good at doing. :P Unfortunately, I discovered the hard way that it doesn't work if you haven't blown apart the rocks at the river ride place. So, all I accomplished was losing lots of hearts before I finally decided to head up there and break down the rocks and tried the glitch again. xD I DID finally complete it, and did the glitch successfully - up until the point where the canoe starts going away without you, because you're wolf Link. I wondered what would happen if I talked to Iza, the river ride person, as a wolf, but she just acted like I was human Link. Oddly, she asked if I wanted to go on the ride again. Wondering what would happen, I said yes, so she took 20 Rupees - and the canoe went without me again. -.-

So... I gtg now... xD

TP Update - Again: TOO. EASY.

There's something wrong with my game. There MUST be. Because Twilight Princess IS THE EASIEST ZELDA GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED.

I have the Master Sword already!

Okay... I SHOULD be playing A Link to the Past...

But I'm on a roll! Now I'll complete Arbiter's Grounds, then Snowpeak (OOOH! Anyone who read my old posts would know that I LOVE Snowpeak! xD), then the Sky, and then... Twilight Realm? Geez! See, almost done!

I saw my "C is for Cookie" cutscene, where Zant meets you after finishing the Water Temple. I was smartical and took off Zora armor before going off, because Zora armor ruins the cutscene. xD I WOULD put on Magic Armor if I had it... ooh, that would have looked so awesomeful... But I don't have it. So I just had to pretend Zant was saying C IS FOR COOKIE without Magic Armor. :)

Um... other games...

I GOT LINEBECK III DARK ORE ON SPIRIT TRACKS!

And... and... did Temple of Ocean King place!

And... and... I AM STUCK IN FOREST TEMPLE ON OCARINA OF TIME!

And... and..

That's all I got. -.-

Okay... I think the resolution is off. O.o

Remember how I said I would play no Zelda games until Part 12 was done?

Yeah... well that worked out PERFECTLY.

Just for the record - THAT'S SARCASM.

I already have broken my resolution many times over. I continuously play Spirit Tracks and Twilight Princess. Which I should probably write some updates about really soon...

I'm kind of confuzzled with LttP right now. There's this room where the door is locked, and the only thing in it is this enemy that is all square-ish or whatever, like a statue, that spins around with a red eye thing in the center of its... head? Anyway, if it sees you, it shoots lasers at you. I've seen them before. They're all over the Fire Temple of Twilight Princess which, btw, I just completed yesterday. You shoot them in the eye with arrows and they die. I tried that, and nearly got myself killed because of it. There's something resembling them all over OoT. They literally have eyes, and they shoot lasers at you, too. You throw bombs at them to kill them. Tried that. Another failure.

HOW ELSE DO YOU DEFEAT THESE THINGS? I tried EVERYTHING! Arrows. Bombs. Boomerang. Ice Rod. Pegasus Boots (yeah, that REALLY didn't worked out xD). Lantern. Book of Mudora (crazy idea -.-). Mushroom (rofl, I found it in the Lost woods - I was wondering what it did). The obvious sword (I'm desperate!). NOTHING.

Um... yeah, just from that you can tell that obviously, my resolution isn't working. xD I've completed LOTS of side quests in Spirit Tracks - btw, there was this one place where this statue said, "This is the replica of a temple in an old kingdom. Phantoms guard the halls. You can't use your sword or arrows," and I totally though TEMPLE OF THE OCEAN KING!

...Sorry.

Anyway, it's over. I can't live without Zelda games unless I have a really, really, REALLY good book (Percy Jackson! Yay!). And that won't help get part 12 written if I have a book.

Bye bye, resolution!

NEW HEADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YAY! I'm so excited! For the first time in Medli's Messages history, WE HAVE A HEADER!

And it's the bestest header ever, because, in a way, it's my first ever graphic I've made on Photoshop! Rowan helped a little... okay, a lot... but still, I contributed!

I had SO much fun picking out all the renders! I accidentally put none from Spirit Tracks. :( I'm sorry. There were none on Planet Renders, where we found these images. Now that I think of it... I put one from every game I had except for poor ST! Oh noes! I even put one from A Link to the Past, which we JUST got, and Minish Cap and Four Swords, and we don't even HAVE those games! Ugh, I want Minish Cap though. I just don't have a GameBoy... :( Besides, I couldn't resist putting him there. He looks just so perfect in the front, lolz. You know, technically, I didn't put Link from Majora's Mask... but there's Fierce Diety, and he's even better. :P

I wanted SO bad to put ST Zelda in, but we had to make her a render. I also wanted in Shiek, Epona (come on, she has to be in there SOMEWHERE), possibly Gannon/Gannondorf (we gotta have the villain), or Young Zelda from OoT, but we had no room. Got lots of Toon Links though... I just love Toon Link... xD

So... how do you like it? If you're out there, readers, please comment and tell me! Personally, I LOVE it, but I still have to see what others think. Good, or bad?

Btw, in case you were wondering, the girl with the beak that's larger than all the others is Medli, who the blog is named after. She's a bird person, so... that's why she has a beak. ;)

My New Resolution! (And short TP/ST updates)

Well, if anyone actually READ this blog, this would be a problem for them. But, because no one reads it... this shouldn't matter.

I am so desperate to finish Part 12 soon that I am giving up Zelda games.

Let me repeat that. GIVING. UP. ZELDA.

If I can remember, and if I don't die, then I will NOT play ANY Legend of Zelda until I write "END OF PART 12" on my word document. So... I suppose, on this blog, I'll only be able to write about old stuff.

It was suppose to start 2 days ago, but I already ruined it. xD I played Twilight Princess last night, and Spirit Tracks.

On Twilight Princess, I worked on my new file. Man, I love the Forest Temple. Gale Boomerang rules! But arrows are still better. And I get to name all the monkeys in this temple! The one with the flower is always named Rosie. And we kind of make up random names for the other monkeys, including Pickles, Doodles, Bannana, and other weird things. xD I completed the temple, then turned into a wolf in Kakariko, and saved Eldin, the light spirit. Now I am suppose to go to the Goron place, then get Iron Boots, and to the Fire Temple!

On Spirit Tracks, I got really mad at my sister. She FINALLY convinced me to buy a new engine for my train. I got the most expensive - GOLD THEME! I bought the back part of the train for it, and the front. And the front was what I hesitated to get, because I heard it changes your wistle. Guess what? IT DOES. Now instead of going "CHOO CHOO", my train goes "DING DING!" xD I don't want my train sounding like a church! I want my old whistle back! :(

I learn the bestest language in the entire world!

What language is that? ... HYLIAN!

Seriously! I found out that you can ACTUALLY learn HYLIAN! You know... the language from the Zelda games!

So I learned how to write the "Hylian Alphabet", which, unfortunately, is only used on Twilight Princess. Worse, it's backwards on the Wii version. So I can't read anything. O.o

But, still, it looks amazing. There's nothing I can do to prove it to you, because you can't TYPE Hylian. And you can't speak it, either. Besides, if "HEY!" and "LISTEN!" and "WATCH OUT!" are what Navi says (which they are), then I think Hylian sounds just like English, rofl. Or Japanese. Ooh, I wonder what Navi sounds like in Japanese? xD

LttP Update - Now what?

This game is confusing. The controls and everything is fun, and the puzzles are great, but how are you suppose to know what to do? The beginning was great. Zelda guided me through a lot of it, and then tells me EXACTLY where to go in Karikaro, and then another kid tells me EXACTLY where to find the elder, then the elder tells me EXACTLY where to find the temple - and then it kind of stops there.

I completed the first temple. I thought it was really cute when I beat the boss, lolz. The way Link spins his sword just made me laugh with delight. But they COULD have made the length of time that you hold the Pendant just a TINY bit shorter. o.o

I hurried back to the elder, and guess what? The only thing he does is hands me pegasus boots and tells me is "go to the east side of Lake Hylia". Now, any other game, I'd know exactly where Lake Hylia is... but HOW am I suppose to know where it is on this game when I'VE ONLY BEAT ONE DARN TEMPLE? Geez! They did NOT think that out very well!

I traveled around and FINALLY figured out where the "East side of Lake Hylia" was. Guess what I found in there? ICE ROD! O: Just like Red in Four Swords manga! Yay!

And now I'm TOTALLY confused. I guess I should go back to the elder, maybe. He might tell me where to go now... possibly. Ugh. Because I didn't know what to do, I kind of just wandered around Hyrule and explored. I found some guy playing the flute with beautiful woodland animals all around. Then he ran away. -.- And then I went to Karikaro and blew up some guy's house to find out where his brother was hidden. Then I went outside the house, and some random girl told me to race to the finish in fifteen seconds. I was like, "Um, okay," and I did eighteen seconds. From then on, I was obsessed with trying to beat my record until I FINALLY got fifteen seconds exactly and this guy gave me a Piece of Heart. Then I found a building with this weird book-ish sign on top of it, so I went inside and found rows and rows of books. There was one particular green-colored book on top of a bookcase, but I couldn't reach. Rowan had an idea, though, so she ran into the bookcase with the Pegasus Boots and the Book of Mudora fell down! All it does it make weird beeping noises though. Unless you need magic power. I wasted all my magic power playing with the Ice Rod. xD Then I tried to catch some guy who keeps running away. I totally failed numerous times before deciding that you WEREN'T suppose to catch him. And then... I also got caught by these annoying girls who keep screaming "Help! That's Link, the guy who stole Princess Zelda!" I'm like, "Thanks, lady," and then the guards come after me. But they're stupid. As Sydney told me, "they can see through walls but can't walk through them." So he keeps on running into a bush until I finally cut it down by accident and he came after me. And, really, why do they only send one guard in the first place? If I'm able to sneak Zelda out of the castle, either not catching the attention of the guard or defeating them, WHY would ONE guard capture me? Or kill me. Whatever they were trying to do...

So... I suppose tonight I'll go after one of the pendants. I still don't know which one I'm suppose to go after, so I'll just guess the one closest to Karikaro. No clue what it is, though. In fact, I don't know which pendant I just got. xD

LttP Update - The Boomerang OWNS!

I now have two items on A Link to the Past: Boomerang and Bow!

Okay, actually, scratch that. I have the lantern, too. And bombs. And I think I have a bottle. Probably other stuffs, too, that I can't remember.

But, still, boomerang is my favorite so far. Isn't that surprising? I mean, the boomerang was SERIOUSLY neglected in Ocarina of Time - you use it for, what, half a temple (or in this case, Lord Jabu-Jabu's Belly O.o), then turn into adult Link so you can't use it any longer! In Wind Waker, it was used a BIT more, but not by much. It's super helpful when you're in the Forbidden Woods, but otherwise, arrows are SO much better. What about Majora's Mask? Wait... do you get the boomerang on there? If you do, I've already forgotten, so it can't be that important. xD Um... what other games? Ooh! Twilight Princess was kind of an improvement. There was WIND with that awesome boomerang. Bestest boomerang ever, for sure. :P But, still, you don't use it much. I think that, with the wind and all that, they could have made a lot more puzzles with it outside of the Forest Temple. That would have been lots of fun.

Now, on other games I have, like Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, the Boomerang is a GREAT item. In fact... sometimes I prefer it over bow and arrows (now always, though, especially when you get Bow of Light in ST)! You get draw a line for it to go. Awesome, right? And, especially in ST, you get to use it for lots of fun puzzles. Like, bringing fire over to melt some ice, or bringing an icy fire over a lake to freeze it? AWE-SOME!

But, still...

Boomerang isn't always the top item of the Zelda series. I've gathered at least that much from my games.

However, in a Link to the Past, I can't help but love it! And... hate my arrows.

They're a disappointment, in this game. They take too long to take out, first of all, and then they can only go in a straight path. The boomerang, on the other hand, I can direct in the way I want to go. An unsuspecting monster to my left can take a major WHACK from my boomerang if I choose to make it go that way! :P

So... I've been taking too long to write this post. Point is: In LttP, Boomerang pwns, Bow stinks.

Now I'm, um, stuck... I think. Maybe. Just because I can't remember what part I'm at. Oh, wait! Now I do! I died in this one room! xD Um, okay. Guess I shouldn't advertise that. So, I'm not stuck, then, I just need to get past the room where a zillion cannon balls are all shooting at me. Ugh. So, I'm in the East Temple, btw. I didn't know this until my sister told me, but apparently you can do the temples in any order? Hmm. Well, I just can't wait to go to the Dark World. You turn into a bunny, there! YAY! BUNNY!

You know, the other day we saw a dead bunny on the side of the road...

Um... changing the subject now...

Yayz! My First LttP Update!

I know this will sound NOTHING like the post title... but I seriously think my DSi has problems. Why else is it that I write in my post title, it disconnects from the internet, then publishes my unfinished post when I tell it to connect again? Ugh. That just happened now.

Okay, now with the REAL post...

I OFFICIALLY HAVE SEVEN LEGEND OF ZELDA GAMES!

We've got these games (in order from date received): Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Spirit Tracks, and now... A LINK TO THE PAST!

I'm ecstatic! LttP marks a huge progression for me. Not only do I now have another old game, and apparently one of the best Zelda games, but this is my first 2-D Zelda game. Yeah, unless ST and PH are somehow considered two-dimensional, LttP is my first. Until this point I've always been an expert on 3-D LoZ - I have all of them, don't I? And, more impotantly, I've completed them all, too.

I didn't get very far. I snuck Zelda into the sanctuary, which gave me a vague feeling of deja vu from Spirit Tracks. Except Zelda doesn't die in LttP. Thank goodness. xD Then I went to Karikaro (ugh! Those women there are evil, giving me away to the guards! Gosh, how'd Agahinim get those signs up so quickly, anyway?). And... that's pretty much it! I didn't do much else. Sigh... it's too bad the Wii isn't portable. They really should make past games (like GameBoy - I mean, Oracle games would be nice! Or Minish Cap!) on the DSi. I'd buy every Zelda game availiable. ;)
